About the Game
Cut down hordes of enemies automatically in Nomad Idle, a spin-off of Nomad Survival. Engage in an expansive storyline, make impactful decisions, and grow stronger through various gameplay features that gradually unlock as you progress.
Nomad Idle is an idle game with a defined end and is not designed to be endless. However, that does not mean the game is short or lacks depth. In Nomad Idle, you can expect to have access to the following as you play through the game and unlock more features:
Level up and earn Stat Points which may be distributed within 7 unique Stats, allowing you to create a build.
Discover, craft, and upgrade Equipment in order to make yourself stronger.
Conjure Summons to aid you in battle.
Select Passive Skills to be automatically used in battle, further defining your build.
Choose a Character, defining your active abilities and special perks for your playthrough.
Nomad Idle is an idle game, meaning that it mostly plays on its own. Your character moves and attacks enemies all on their own, but it can be played actively by making use of character-specific skills and abilities. Playing actively in this way is entirely optional and not mandatory, but can be effective in speeding up your progress or help you overcome challenges.

Official update history
- Fixed: Equipment requiring Cloth was disproportionately high and many pieces of Equipment were deviated from their requirements starting at Tier 3 by mistake. You'll notice some Equipment now requires different things, but this is now more well-rounded as it should've always been.
- Fixed: Activity Log shows incorrect level when the player levels up.
- Fixed: Imp's Fireball would sometimes not travel.
- Fixed: If you died when a skill is unable to be cast due to insufficient mana, the skill is never used again unless you replace it or change Areas.
- Fixed: When looking at the Ascension tree, any new Ascension Points earned while looking at the screen would not be correctly given when Ascending.
- Enemies in Areas 8, 9, and 10 have had their damage reduced by 10%.
- The cost of increasing your max Stat via Upgrade Stats has been reduced by a factor of 0.2
- The cost of increasing your max Summon Stat has been reduced by a factor of 0.1
- Ebb and Flow now has a max duration of 8 seconds, as obtaining 100% uptime is now easier with the above change and would be completely overpowered.
Thanks.
- Camera follow text displayed over Summons when the Camera is following them has been made less obnoxious.
- Fixed: If you did not have sufficient mana to cast a skill, it would incorrectly go on cooldown anyway.
- Fixed: If you had points in DEX and SPI, but then set either to 0 via the double-down arrow, it would incorrectly set your Summon Damage from Stats to 0.
- Fixed: If Smart Casting is enabled for on-kill Skills in slots 3 and 4, the "SMART" text would flicker randomly.
I'm realizing now that the numbers I have in my documentation for balancing are not actually reflected on Ghost Blade and Final Spark. This means they're stronger than they're actually intended on being. This is a big mistake and I'll own it, because I know nobody likes nerfs.
However, I would also be doing the game a disservice if I let these incorrect numbers continue to exist. I've checked through every other skill, ability, DoT, etc. and they seem fine. It's just these 2 skills.
These skills will likely still be powerful, but not as horrendously overpowered as they were. I hope you understand that a game about variety isn't very interesting if you should always be running these 2 skills no matter what.
So, essentially, the following has happened. These changes reflect my internal balance design docs and should've been implemented before the game went live:
- Ghost Blade: Mana Cost Mult increased.
- Ghost Blade: Base Mana increased.
- Ghost Blade: Damage Mult decreased.
- Ghost Blade: Base Damage decreased.
- Final Spark: Mana Cost Mult increased.
- Final Spark: Base Mana increased.
- Final Spark: Damage Mult decreased.
- Final Spark: Base Damage increased.
I'd much prefer to buff other skills, because any kind of nerf just isn't very fun and I know that, but they're so far and away ahead that the game would become nonsense if I did. Hope you understand.
Thanks.
This version makes Nomad Idle connect to Steam again (achievements etc.). Sorry about that.
- New: You can now toggle Smart Casting and Visibility of Skills in Settings.
- Fixed: Final Spark would sometimes get stuck and not update its mana cost appropriately. This resulted both in cases where Final Spark was always too expensive and Final Spark always being very cheap, regardless of level. This now updates appropriately.
- Fixed: Slippy the Slime no longer gets stuck for prolonged periods of time and will change destination after a few seconds. If Slippy's target is very close, it may still be stationary, but this will resolve after a few seconds.
- Fixed: Type in event where "Continue" was instead "copntinue".
