About the Game
The Break-In is a 4 player online co-op burglary game about sneaking into houses, stores, and casino vaults to steal everything that isn't bolted down. (And maybe some of the things which are bolted down)
If you can get it into your van, you can sell it for a profit. And you can use the money you make to purchase new thief equipment, to help you take on riskier heists
Special Thief Equipment
Use a wide range of equipment to help you to extract the most valuable items from your target. Ladders and climbing picks can help you get in, then use attachable items like airbags and pistons to safely get your stolen items to your van

Other items like hammers, firecrackers, and wearable head lampshades can help you deal with any residents, either by knocking them out, distracting them, or hiding from them.
Natural climbing system
The climbing freedom gives you full freedom to get around. Clamber up drainpipes, crawl through windows, or even stealthily make your way to the roof to scout the area
Just be careful to make sure that nobody is waiting for you on the other side of the window, it's a long way down and you didn't bring a trampoline. Or maybe you did, and this is all part of your plan?
Classes and Perks
There are 3 classes to choose from. will you be the sneaky, speedy Infiltrator, breaking in and opening up the target for your team?
Or the beefy Strongman, dragging the valuable heavy items to your van, and protecting your teammates from guards?
Or maybe you're the Mastermind, co-ordinating everything in secret and hacking the vault?
VR / non-VR crossplay
VR adds an extra layer of immersion, but you can play fully without it too! Cross-play allows you to play alongside VR players, even in non-VR mode
The keyboard and mouse controls are designed to give non VR players the same level of control as VR players
Randomised level generation
Every mission you enter has randomised room varieties including different points of entry, so you'll have to make a new plan for each place you infiltrate
NPCs are also randomised, so make sure you scout the area well before going in. You never know what might be guarding that jewelry, an angry resident, a trained guard, or a hidden camera?

Official update history
The first post-launch update for the Break-In is now live! It features some long awaited levels and items, so I hope you enjoy playing. I'm delighted that I can continue working on the game and bringing new updates. Here's a breakdown of what's included!
Museum Level
I want to preface this by saying that I started working on this level a while ago, and it was not inspired by the Louvre heist which happened a few days ago. Although the coincidence is understandable suspicious. The museum features 4 different exhibits, ranging from ancient history to natural history, and capped off by the enormous T-Rex skeleton in the center! It is, of course, stealable, but it's a big challenge to any burglary squad. The museum also contains a vault full of relics, but it's very well guarded and there are alarms everywhere. Be careful!

Train Level
The wild west train heist is here! I don't know if you traveled back in time, or are just harassing some train reenactment enthusiasts, but either way you're about to burglarise a moving train. Sneak or fight your way through passenger cars and freight cars to the front of the train to crack open the vault! Then struggle to get everything back to your getaway vehicle in the rear. Watch behind you for the cops!

New Items
As well as the new levels, there are a few long-awaited items added in this update.
The Keycard Hacker can replicate any keycard simply by pressing it to the card reader, allowing you to bypass them. It takes a bit of time though, so make sure you're in a safe place while you wait!
The Retina Copier scans an NPCs face to get a copy of their retina. Just touch it against their head and wait for it to turn green (or just throw it at their head from a distance), and then it can be used to bypass retina scanners.
The Night-Vision Goggles allow you to see in the dark and live out your splinter cell dreams. Just put them on your head and activate them with trigger or left click, and leave the flashlights at home!
Cosmetics
To fit the theme of the train heist, I have also added some cowboy style clothes to the cosmetics menu. There is also a new secret cosmetic to be found, so good luck!

- Fixed not being able to climb in nonvr after switching from infiltrator class with spider climbers
- Fixes to more potential black screen crashes
- Fixed certain achievements not being achievable
- Fixed one vault button not being interactable on playground
- Patched holes in playground level
- Fixed perk progress resetting for some players
- Fixed some players not being able to change their getaway vehicles
- Fixed occasional crash when grabbing certain items
- Fixed crash when attaching two airbags to eachother
- Fixed not being able to rotate two handed items with Q and E in nonVR
