About the Game
Dystopika is a small city-builder inspired by cyberpunk and the wanderlust of cities that never sleep.
Place buildings, giant billboards, and towering holograms, working in harmony with procedural generation for landscape, traffic, and lights to create your own future metropolis rich with vibes and ambience. Escape to your own little dystopian dreams (or nightmares).
No goals, no objectives, no wins or losses. Just relax and embrace creative cyberpunk zen. If you love to turn on the cheat codes and just build, this one's for you.

Bug fixes
Fixes a critical bug where exiting the game during startup may lead to loss of prop unlock progress. To help players affected by this bug, the unlock-all cheat as been enabled.
This small update primarily consists of added support for the new features in Dystopika ModKit v1.2.0
New ModKit Features
Modding: Mod Prop Camera component has been added to allow for staging of custom cameras in Mod Props, similar to the Blimp Cam.
Modding: Prop Sub-groups have been added to allow for user-selectable variations of a prop.
Modding: A validation step now takes place while compiling your mod, providing warnings if you are missing required configuration or reference.
Minor Changes
Volumetric light settings have been revised to allow for higher light limits (especially when using the larger map sizes):
Low: Low resolution, max 4096 lights
Medium: Medium resolution, max 8192 lights
High: Medium Resolution, max 16384 lights
Ultra: High resolution, max 16384 lights
Modding: Mod Prop Scaler now allows you to lock scaling on local axes.
Modding: Light Objects can now be disabled if an associated procbit is not active.
Bug fixes
Fixed a bug where Tile variants and ground tiles were not properly using the world seed after re-loading the save
Fixed a bug when linear camera movement in photo mode was easing movement.
Fixed a bug where the building preview would disappear when holding ALT

Fixed a bug where editing mods for a saved city would cause unpredictable activation of the Save button.

Fixed a bug where some tools were not properly interfacing with the out-of-bounds areas creating confusing player UX.

- Added a special resolution scaling case for the main menu to prevent it from becoming un-usable at lower resolutions e.g. Steamdeck.

- Fixed a bug where cloned buildings with billboards would occasionally move back to old world positions
- Fixed a bug where monorails were improperly render textures when expanded to reach a certain size
- Fixed a bug where blocky visual artifacts would be appear in volumetric lights when a non-default (1.0) render scale was active
- Fixed several visual bugs related to B-Sides monorails having incorrect offsets and clipping issues
- Fixed a bug where selected Font would not save properly and revert to the Default.

- Fixed a bug where Steam Workshop-based mods were being frequently re-copied from the Steam download cache.
- Added error-catching if a Mod cannot be loaded properly during game startup. If a mod cannot be loaded it will ignored, and relevant info will be printed to console.
- Updating Unity’s internal spline package preventing unnecessary console errors
- Fixed an issue where emoji were no longer working on neon text prop

What’s New
A “Hide Mask” option has been added to the Billboard controls, allowing you to remove the cut corners and have a full rectangular image.
New console commands have been added for more control over video recording output. Both these commands have only been partially tested and are considered Experimental features that may produce unexpected results. ⚠️
setting-videorecording-offline command has been added to the console to enable “Offline Rendering” to achieve smoother video recording at the expense of causing gameplay stutter while recording.
setting-videorecording-fps allows you to change the recording framerate (e.g. 60fps).
setting-videorecording-mbps allows you to set an average and maximum Mbps bitrate for video recording to produce higher quality recordings at the expense of file size.
setting-videorecording-interval allows you to set the keyframe interval for recording to produce higher quality videos in some scenarios.

Fixed a bug where Roads and other splined props could have their heights adjusted beyond their set limits.

Revised in-game Mod Interface to allow players to force check if updates are available and download
Mod Updates that affect the currently loaded city will save and reload that city.
Added an “Ultra” setting for Volumetric Resolution that increases max lights
Bug Fixes
Media with upper case extensions (.JPG) will now import correctly
Loading screen will now properly wait for assets to load before fading out
Addition of “Ultra” setting for Volumetric Resolution will potentially fix issues with disappearing or deactivated spot lights
Fixed some issues where the mod list was clipping
City Settings and Advanced Prop screens will now apply UI Scaling setting properly.
