About the Game


Build a maze before the battle begins! Be creative and find the best setup with the block cards in your hand.
Make good use of your limited wall blocks! Will you make the monsters take a longer route, or will you use the blocks to position your towers more strategically?
After the battle, add various runes to the block cards! Runes can enhance your towers, grant blocks special abilities, or even double their size!

Tower with various sizes: 1x3? 2x2? 3x3? Building powerful towers requires careful planning!

Official update history
This patch is mostly bug fixes, with some design changes.
Gameplay Improvements
- Players can now start building towers even if they don't have enough coins, and build them once they have enough.
- Treasure chests now offer a choice between three bundles instead of just one card.
- Poison Dart Towers will now skip monsters whose accumulated poison exceeds their health.
- Scrap Tower rework: Scrap Towers now have a 30-ammo limit and will be destroyed when the ammo is exhausted. Damage and fire rate have been slightly increased to compensate for the new mechanics.
(The purpose of this change is to enhance the strategic value of the Scrap Tower. When you notice an area is about to be breached, the Scrap Tower serves as an excellent emergency defense!) - Scrap Rune: Now spawns up to 5 scrap towers on the block.
Balance Adjustments
- Time-Saving Device: Now gives 3 coins for every 10 seconds remaining on the countdown timer (up from 1)
Bug Fixes
- Update: Fixed an issue where Japanese text was using the wrong font in some UI elements.
(Japanese uses a separate font so I might have missed setting it up in some UI. Let me know if there's anymore I'm missing!) - Fixed a bug where opening a treasure chest at the end of a level could freeze the game.
- Fixed an issue where runes could be clicked before they appeared when selecting them.
- Fixed a problem where tower placed on moving minecarts sometimes fell off.
- Fixed a glitch where monsters would float when passing a treasure chest.
- Fixed an issue where the altar could repeatedly remove block cards under specific circumstances.
New Features
- Large monsters in the game have gained new abilities:
- Werewolf: When its health drops to 50%, it will slam the ground, causing nearby towers to malfunction for a period of time.
- Giant Spider: When it dies, 5 small spiders will emerge at its location.
- Lizard Mage: Its health is significantly reduced, but it will periodically enhance nearby monsters!
Gameplay Improvements
- Tower tooltip window will only show when click on a tower, instead of when hovering over a tower.
- You can set the default target priority for each kind of towers by right-clicking on the tower buttons!
- The camera can now be moved with the middle mouse button in-game.
- The map can be navigated using WASD or arrow keys.
- The game will now remember the game speed your selected.
- Placing objects in non-buildable areas will no longer cancel construction.
Balance Adjustments
- Slightly reduced the strength of the Icicle Tower, Scrap Tower, and Sniper Tower.
- Increased the strength of the Fireball Tower and Poison Tower.
- Slightly reduced the slowing effect from ice towers. (After everyone started building mazes seriously, the original slowing effect became too strong.)
- Removed the block set that have only T-shaped blocks.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed the issue where blocks under Poison Towers could be recalled.
- Fixed the issue with the Drone Tower sticking to the target when placed on minecarts.
- Fixed the issue where building towers with keybinds required movement or rotation before placement.
- Fixed the issue where the Workshop's enhancement talent was not working.
- Fixed the issue with boost tiles appearing in places they shouldn't.
(Of course, there's still more feedback to address. There will be more adjustments in the future.)
New Features
- Added difficulty selection!
- There are now three difficulty levels: "Casual", "Normal", and "Heroic".
If you feel the previous demo was not challenging enough, please try these out and let me know how you think about the new difficulty!
(The difficulty of the v0.1.2 demo was roughly between Casual and Normal.)
Gameplay Improvements
- Now you can choose one out of three turrets upon completing a level!
- You can now switch game speed by pressing the spacebar.
- Increased the preparation time between each battle.
- The current wave number is now displayed during battles.
- Monster health bars now display the accumulation of poison damage.
- The Sniper Tower, upon placement, will automatically switch its default priority target to "Highest Health".
- Pressing the right mouse button now cycles back to the previous option when changing tower target priority.
- After changing tower target priority, the tower will immediately abandon its current target and find a new target.
- Clicking outside the tower function menu will now close it.
- Significantly increased the chance of encountering a shop node before a Boss level.
- Added UI hints for long-pressing to unlock talents.
- Added UI hints for holding Shift to build continuously.
Balance Adjustments
- Rebalanced all towers, monsters, and levels.
- Changed the calculation method for poison damage: total damage can stack, but the interval between each damage remains the same.
Also increased the damage of poison-type towers.
This change makes poison towers deal more damage, but will also need to build a longer path for the DOT damage. - The minecarts in the Boss level has been enhanced; it now doubles attack power and attack range. The number of minecarts on each side decreases to three.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash
(although it's not 100% certain if the issue is completely resolved, please report if crashes still occur). - Fixed incorrect punctuation in Japanese fonts.
- Using Alt+Tab to switch windows will no longer affect the game camera with mouse movement.
- Added a "Native" option for screen resolution.
The screen resolution setting needs some rework, so I've added the native resolution option for now.
Other Known Issues
- After adjusting window size in windowed mode, switching scenes reverts the size to the original settings.
I've been working on the game's balance for a few days, and now I think I can share some details with you!
From the feedback, most of the players have told me the game is too easy right now (and I totally agree), especially with those OP 2x2 towers. However, there are also players, less familiar with TD games, told me they're happy to see a casual, relaxing TD game.
So here's what's coming:
- I'm currently doing a complete rebalance, including monsters, towers, gold income, and all the levels.
- Monsters will spawn less crowded, making AOE towers less effective.
- There will be a mode selection screen. You can choose to play casually and crush the monsters or play on a higher difficulty.
Most of the adjustments are done, but it takes even more time to test all the levels, so please bear with me for a few more days. Thank you for all your feedback and support! It really means A LOT for a solo dev.

Gameplay Improvements
- (v0.1.2) Cards can now be used by clicking or dragging with the mouse.
- When using a card, other cards will become transparent, giving you more operational space.
- The monster looks much colder when they are frozen now.
- The welcome message will one pop out once now.
- Slight adjustments to the amount of reward gold from monsters.
(I have received a lot of feedback about the difficulty of the game! Next, I will adjust the difficulty based on everyone's feedback for each level in the game. However, the scope of the Demo is just the first world of the game, so the adjustments will not be very large. The main goal is for everyone to enjoy building mazes and crushing monsters. There are more challenging levels in the later part of the game!)

Other Known Issues
- The Japanese version currently displays non-standard Kanji and punctuation marks, which will be corrected in a future version.
- UI display error when multiple buff cards are used on the same tower.
