Farm the world in an immersive top-down management game. It's up to you if you prefer to experience a rich strawberry harvest in the French countryside or if you like farming in the hot sun of South America. Choose your farm’s location anywhere on a real-world map and become a Global Farmer!
Choose your location
Based on real-world data from OpenStreetMap, you can play anywhere in the world. Explore your own neighborhood from the perspective of a budding farmer, or try to become a successful agriculture magnate conquering the world.
Organize your farm space
Build your own farming infrastructure with things like storage facilities, parking for your vehicles, paths to get around your farm, sheds for your animals and many more. Purchase a variety of equipment inspired by real-world agricultural vehicles and implements.
Develop the best crop rotation
Various environmental factors influence the growth and success of your crops: Daily changing temperature, sunshine hours and rainfall make up the requirements of optimal crop growth. Nutrients (NPK) and the soil composition further influence the growth and success of your crops. Investigate different field values and choose the most effective crop rotation. Plant the correct crops in the right areas, manage many different fields in parallel and watch your income increase.
Buy and care for livestock
Construct barns and sheds for 3 types of farm animals. Assign fields as pastures and make sure that your animals stay fed during all seasons and temperatures by moving them between the green grasslands and your warm farm. In return, they will reward you with profitable milk, wool and eggs.
Create and share your own maps
Struggling because you live in an area with little data? Use our level editor and create your own unique field maps based on the real world OSM data. Afterwards you can share those with the community via the Steam Workshop.
Embrace the regional challenges
Ready for a challenge? Try to cultivate various crops across different continents. The weather and pricing will adapt according to the precise coordinates you select, reflecting global real-world data. Soil conditions, including texture and pH levels, will also vary depending on the region chosen.
Fulfill Contracts
Perform contract work to increase your revenue by delivering goods. Handle your resources wisely to fulfil orders on time. Take on increasingly challenging contracts and earn more money.

- Map object dont overlap anymore. If you have challenges placing the building on the map, feel free to use the field split & delete tools to create some space for your new buildings.

Patch Notes - 0.8.16:
- Can only confirm valid plantings due to double reservations, addressing 'field action failed' bugs. Dragging and dropping plantings should now also better update when machinery is reserved for other tasks. Autofill machinery also improved in that regard.
This should fix a problem lots of players have reported. - FMOD updated, fixing potential bugs and crashes caused by sound effects

- Fixed camera being locked on tractors when trying to move to farm view
- Play building animation while paused, roads are not animated anymore so that they are easier to connect
- Implemented achievements "Professional Farmer" and "Mismanagement"
- Fixed a bug where weed did not unspawn, resulting in fields having a lot of weed visualization even with low weed level
- Fixed a bug where deleting the first save game from a list did not work

Known Issue: There might be a new issue where selling pastures directly does not work anymore, but you still can convert it back to a field and then sell it.

- New features to vote on in feature requests should not have default negative votings anymore
- New category in the financial overview for the money you spend on daily operation costs (Will be extended with field action costs in the next update, which are still missing)
- Reworked crop spawning system, addressing crash issues, crops now might take 1-3 seconds until they are spawned in on all fields visually when loading maps.
- Assignment overview after field sold not open anymore, plantings/ preview deleted properly now
- Fixed a bug where notifications would always show "Field not ready" for any failure reason
(Now with more information, this should address the currently most reported bug, we are working on something to show reservations at all, as still makes planning multiple field difficult at the moment) - Reset a field when a planting action fails. This should fix several issues where fields were no longer plantable.

Known Bug: Weed keeps spawning in now, anti-weed spraying and plowing seems not to reduce weed anymore visually, but still changes the gameplay values. Will be addressed with a very soon next hotfix. We wanted to give you this update as early as possible to give you some important crash and planting fixes.
Hello Global Farmers!
We are back with an important stability update addressing the most concerning issues of not being able to get into the game, having issues loading maps or having crashes and freezes. As this did not happen to all users it took us a while to figure out those problems.
We already tested most of those changes on our beta branch "experimental" with the version 0.8.10 were we could confirm that most issues were fixed. If you having still troubles getting into the game with this update, please get back at use in Steam or via discord, it helps us greatly to make the game accessible to all our players. Thanks to everybody that contributed to help us fix these things.

- less unwanted behaviour and freezes when changing resolutions

Outlook
Besides ensuring playability and technical stability, we are currently evaluating how we can add meaningful progression, content and something to keep you motivated to play more global farmer as we see this as the biggest issue at the moment.
There were some great suggestions from our community so far regarding general feature ideas and feedback and we going through them carefully and adding them to the feature request board in the game from time to time.
These are the current rankings of your votes and we are analyzing what we should do first and how.

- Assignment bug fix: Previously adding plowing or cultivating reverted the assigned worker amount of other actions to 1 without correctly updating the ui that lead to confusion.
- Fixed that additional machinery can only be assigned to an action if sufficient workers are hired and available.
- Tutorial now saves completed steps properly with savegames.
- Turkey was in two different regions and is now in southern-europe region (Those assignments come from the osm data is structured)
This is just a very small patch as we are mainly working on fixing the biggest technical issues at the moment and try to bring you another patch possibly tomorrow.
1. Some players can't load the game at all and seem to be stuck before even seeing the main menu.
As this only happens to a part of players we are thankful for any insights on your hardware specs or monitor setup. In some cases it was reported that it helped to delete the graphic settings in the AppData user folder or change the resolution number, one user also reported that by updating his graphic card driver it suddenly worked.
2. General frequency of crashes during gameplay for some players.
We are terribly sorry for everybody that bought the game and could not even access it, we are a bit baffled by this outcome as our testings weeks before the release did not reveal this problems, which could be a hint that it has to do with hardware setups.
