About the Game
Built from the ground up by a two person team, The Living Remain is a virtual reality first person adventure shooter where players immerse themselves in a new world where the undead have taken over. You must survive the horde of undead using an arsenal of weapons in a story driven campaign loaded with a variety of interactive environments. Explore, scavenge, and collect filament to craft ammo and upgrade a variety of weapons.
You are playing as Grant Montgomery, a former military soldier who has been separated from his family. Now he is searching for them in a post apocalyptic world where pockets of remaining humans are surviving within protected compounds, while the undead roam freely. He comes across a group of survivors, one of them is Alex, and she quickly becomes his ally. Over a radio she helps Grant navigate through this dark post apocalypse world.

This weeks update brings a couple of improvements and some bug fixes. The red dot scopes now behave as they should and adjust based on the angle at which they are viewed.
We also added an adjustment as requested by the community for Snap Turning. First, we have made it more responsive. Secondly, it's now possible to control the blink duration or shut it off completely.
Also, going forward, the updates will be much smaller data wise. We made adjustments to how the game is built to accommodate people with slower/data capped internet.

- Option to adjust snap turn blink duration

- Some zombies not dying when shot in head
- Glass rendering under certain conditions

This update fixes the game not launching on start up for some players. If you have previously set your game over to one of the Beta branches, you can now opt out of the Beta to receive this update as its now safe to do so.
Additional Bug fix:
- Fixed - Player hands not snapping back to controller when grabbing certain items
Many thanks to the community for helping us to get to the root cause of these issues.
Now that these critical issues have been fixed, we are working on a highly requested feature, so stay tuned for this next announcement!
We have tracked down the issue to players in certain regions being affected by the Windows language settings on their PC. This patch directly fixes that issue and many others caused by it.
A big shout out to LFulciFan and other players who brought this issue to our attention, you were all instrumental in helping us track it down.
We have a big announcement coming in a few days...Stay Tuned!!!
