About the Game
Explore a Dynamic Alien World
Woanope is alive, thrumming with ecological interactions, curious creatures, friendly alien societies, and heaps of stories to uncover. Lure a Trunkle into an explosive meadow, fish up some Pho-rays by moonlight, or help those mischievous alien kids commune with a (probably) harmless multidimensional being. What could go wrong?
Return to Woanope as Flux Dabes, intergalactic trucker and disgruntled corporate employee. After years away from the planet under a lucrative (if morally dubious) spokesperson contract for the Bureau of Shipping, you return to visit some old pals and recover from corporate burnout. But before your vacation can even begin, a mysterious blast from the planet's surface sends you crashing into a new land, far from friends and alone in an alien wilderness.
Fight on Your Terms
As you explore Woanope you'll discover and craft all manner of gadgets, elixirs, and weapons that deliver mix-and-match playstyles. Fight using stealth, traps, environmental hazards, and distance weapons. Or chug an Elixir of Juking, stun your opponent with a Space Wok, and jump right into the fray. Or just get... weird? Turn fish into bombs, or make a Pact with the Void to convert your pain into martial prowess.
Construct a Home Away From Home
After a long day of exploring the wilderness, fighting Sluggabuns, and getting sneezed on by Trunkles, you'll need a place for you and your alien pals to relax. Build a cozy home-away-from-home where you can retreat from the outside world to craft, chat, fish, and farm -- or tame that orphaned Sluggababby you adopted -- in peace. Just don't forget to make space for your newfound friends... and potential roommates.
Build Friendships
Meet a colorful cast of characters in your journey across Woanope, each with their own unique skills and knowledge. Befriend them, help them with their goals, and discover new crafting recipes together through the power of ✧˖°.friendship.°˖✧
Raise Adorable Pets
Find creature eggs out in the world, figure out how to hatch them, and raise them as little companions. You'll teach them the ways of the world and help them grow into formidable beasts. In return they'll keep you safe during your adventures.
Change the World
Being zapped out of orbit was a pretty big clue that something is going awry on Woanope. But what!? Join the locals to figure out what's gone wrong, who's responsible, and how to make things right.

Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
This is a minor update to use the same version on all platforms so the cloud saves can sync properly.
We are excited to announce that Crashlands 2 now has support for the Korean language! We’d like to welcome our new Korean-speaking players to the Bscotch community, and we hope you enjoy all the shenanigans we’ve cooked up!
We would like to thank our Korean partner Smilegate and their translation team for going through more than 150 THOUSAND words to bring Crashlands 2 to this new audience. It was quite the undertaking, but well worth it!
Now get in there and have fun!
Love,
Bscotch Team

- Fertilizer is now auto-crafted if it is a subcomponent of another item.
- Fumigator no longer requires the Volb Scaffold for its recipe, since this double-dips with the Hexmatrix recipe.
- Fixed an issue where you could auto-craft subcomponents even if you hadn't learned the recipe for those subcomponents.
- Fixed an issue where loot-dropped scrambled items, such as the Hot Hive, would show their original item's icon on the world map instead of the new, scrambled item.
- Reduced the requirements for the FL1T and Swoggle Life Lessons for dealing damage, as the number was too big to save in the save file.
- Fixed a missing area assignment in the north of Sluggabull Grotto, which could lead to fishing problems there.
- Dying to a boss should once again no longer spawn a DED dummy.
- The bots at the Fabricator entrance no longer respawn once the laser fence comes down to grant you access.
- Completing the Chaotic JEF without ever talking to Makalak at the entrance will now retroactively complete the Chaoitic JEF quest.
- Fixed an issue in Scramble that caused the quest to get the item from the trapped Pewpoppa in the Husk to be stuck in an incomplete state.
Fixed an issue that caused the Trunkle pet's life lesson to visit the destroyed JAR to not be completable in Scramble.

Fixed an edge case silent crash issue that tends to happen more prominently for late-game saves.
- Fixed an issue where the Compendium was miscounting the number of Jems you have collected.
What was the problem?
Crashlands 2's saves are typically stored at “C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Crashlands2\YOURSTEAMID". In that folder, we use a index file "Game\global.json" to keep track of all the saves that you created in the "Game\Saves" folder. Due to various reasons such as power outage or anti-virus software restrictions, some players' index files would get corrupted and the game will boot without being able to discover their saves, even though they are sitting perfectly fine in the "Game\Saves" folder.
How does this patch address the problem?
The game now will scan the files in the "Game\Saves" folder and add the saves back into the index file, and these saves will become accessible again in the in-game saves menu.
How do I protect my saves in the future?
The game supports Steam Cloud, so make sure you have that turned on so your saves are backed up by Steam.
We also have the in-game "Log In" button where you can sign in to our cross-platform save syncing service called Rumpus. Rumpus will back up your saves in our cloud as well, so you have another layer of insurance. Plus, if you ever decide to play Crashlands 2 on other platforms, you will get to continue your progress!

Once you are logged in, you can copy the saves you have into your Rumpus account.

Known Issues
- The hammer-type weapon attack animation is slightly borked in this patch. We will address this in the next update.
- We are still investigating game crashes that either serve an error message or silently kill the game. If you are experiencing those issues, please share your PC setup information with us at this mega thread.
- 1.0.10-rc.8 includes a fix for users with 60 Hz monitors that experience rhythmic stuttering if their actual refresh rate is 59.94Hz. However, if you own a 60 Hz monitor and are still experiencing this issue, please share your PC setup information with us at this other mega thread.
