FL Studio is a full-featured digital audio workstation developed by Image‑Line. It combines a pattern-based sequencer, piano roll, playlist, and mixer to allow users to compose, record, edit and mix music. It includes over 100 built-in instruments and effects such as synthesizers, samplers, reverb, compression, EQ and more, while also supporting third-party VST and AU plugins. With FL Studio you can produce everything from simple beats to full‑fledged songs, perform audio recording, MIDI sequencing, automation, time‑stretching, pitch manipulation, and final mixing/mastering. It supports export to common audio formats (WAV, MP3, FLAC, MIDI etc.) and allows complex mixing with hundreds of mixer tracks — making it suitable for both electronic music producers and traditional musicians working with live recordings.
