About the Game
You are the Corporate Security Agency’s greatest weapon, and it's your job to make sure the corporations and their shady deals are anything but secure. With the team at HQ backing you up, you're tossed headfirst into the fray, where a military operation with plausible deniability can fix things for a fraction of the cost of a hopeless court case.
Every randomized run will be different, but one thing never changes: you will be outnumbered. Get ready to think on your feet as you dash, jump, and use the environment to your advantage. You can't still, not even for a second.
Equip your shell with powerful weapon loadouts. Try out various combinations as you blaze a path of destruction. Want to snipe your foes from a distance, debilitate them with status effects, or just go in guns blazing? Whatever your playstyle, you can find the right kit for the job.
Your enemies have no shortage of bullets and bodies to throw at you. But you're no slouch either. Sure, you might lose a combat shell here and there, but your next one will be even tougher. Start each new run with amped-up skills and deadlier firepower!

💬 Dev comment: Dear Players! Watching your struggles in the Interport biome has been fantastic and heart-wrenching at the same time. We cherish your love for the overall aesthetics of the new corporation and the joy you express from playing with the new implant leveling system. On the other hand, we feel your pain from being swarmed by tons of enemies and doing your best to overcome the difficulty spike between Watts-Rucker and Interport. We aim to deliver consistent difficulty during a run, and the current Interport state just might be overtuned.
That’s why we decided to release a balancing hotfix for the latest update. Check out the list below, and as always, let us know what you think!
General Changes
- Hitting Pincer’s and Forcer’s C-Balls will now trigger the On C-Ball Break implants
- Tweaked the number and composition of enemies in the Interport biome (no more Zerg Rush behavior)
- Marked enemies will drop shields again. We tweaked the number of shields and damage threshold for the overall run experience
- Interport got an optimization pass and should perform more consistently now
Implants Changes
- Ballistics Calculator: Rare ➡️ Legendary
- CBRN Pack: Active fire-rate boost leveling description fix (was "gain 0%➡️ 20% fire-rate" instead of "gain 20% fire-rate")
- Tesla Modulator: Fixed leveling description not updating correctly
- HE Focusware: Common ➡️ Rare
Changed Lv.4 description to better match its mechanic - Cluster Core: Changed Lv.4 description to better match its mechanic
Other Fixes
- Fixed ever-lasting encounters during some Challenges
- Fixed hit detection for radial damage
- Fixed bugs related to Iskra boss fight (damage calculation, combat numbers display, win conditions, player getting out of bounds)
Big things are coming to Deadlink. You'll find out most of them this Friday, March 17th. See us at the Steam MIX Fest and look for updates! In the meantime, here's a few important changes we'll be adding to the game:
Implants Leveling
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41652932/4c3677dd9acd1266b144d7b38cd939d4160981e5.gif
So you’ve challenged the Tora goons and you’ve stomped through the labs of Watts-Rucker. Now here you are with a bunch of unused implants in your backpack.
With Implant leveling you’ll get an extra option rather than accumulate unused implants like a scrapper.
Implants Rarity
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/41652932/8903e8556412cef848d13f192eee3070a3cb0d7e.png
It’s no secret that Deadlink has a lot more implants than it started out with. So many that we’re splitting them into three types of rarity! You’ll get to see what that looks like soon enough.
Challenge rooms

Challenge rooms are getting more varied and more challenging (like they should be). In our Friday update read all about what makes them tick.
Keep an eye out for our update that will contain a detailed list of the above changes and much, much more. Catch us on the MIX showcase, see the update in action in some fun streams, and of course, enjoy some discounts. See you there!
