About the Game
Amy’s brother is dead. She hadn't even seen him in years.
Thomas has always been a little eccentric. Obsessed with lucid dreaming and the concept of other worlds. All a little too fantastical for a small town vet like Amy herself.
But then Amy comes across his journals. And what at first seems like the ramblings of a troubled mind slowly begin to seem more and more plausible. Maybe her brother was right about everything. And maybe, just maybe… he isn’t actually dead.
Deep Sleep: Labyrinth of the Forsaken is a point-and-click horror adventure from veteran developer scriptwelder, and a standalone entry into the cult classic Deep Sleep series. Guide Amy deeper into the world of dreams, using the power of her mind to shape her surroundings and overcome challenges and puzzles. Explore landscapes both beautiful and terrifying in your search to uncover the truth about her brother.
But there’s a darkness lurking within the mazes of these other worlds. It knows Amy is there. And it’s very, very interested in finding her.
The game features the exploration, atmosphere, narrative, and puzzles you've come to expect and love while also adding in a sneakily complex turn-based combat system, many items to be looted and used in various ways, and a skill tree to help you overcome these nightmarish challenges.
Features:
Solve puzzles and defeat foes using the ability to shape Amy’s dreams around her
Explore nightmarish and otherworldly environments with elements of randomized design
Improve and unlock new skills for Amy to help keep her alive and make her stronger
Encounter bizarre and dangerous beings who could be friend, foe… or both
Multiple endings and secrets to find, if you survive the beings hunting you
A brand new soundtrack from composer Christopher Carlone

Official update history
GENERAL
- Updated Unity version.
- Tiger plushie puzzle's map exclamation marker will now remain visible until player collects the reward item; some people were confused with this puzzle and didn't realize they have to revisit the location to collect the reward.
BALANCE CHANGES
- Enemy self-heal tied to an attack ("life-steal") will NOT trigger if the WHOLE incoming damage was blocked, or the attack was dodged. This is done to make some fights feel more fair and to provide players with more solutions and reasons to use shields to block incoming damage.
If at least some of the incoming damage was not blocked, heal will proc as before.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed a bug where there was a small chance (~0.00005%) of a "lucky" event triggering during the tutorial fight, breaking the flow of the tutorial.
- Added a global fix to (hopefully) remove or at least greatly reduce chances of animation game soft-locking when spam-clicking during an action.
- Added a global fix to a bug where while trying to use an item on an object, another action triggering in the meantime (like elevator door auto-closing) would lead to game soft-locking.
- Fixed an issue with several audio sources not respecting the game volume setting. (There might be more that I missed)
- Fixed several locations where player could manage to move outside of bounds, soft-locking the game.
- Fixed few instances of items not being accepted as a valid solutions (for example: metal pipe to open cell's doors)
- Added a fixed spawn of a Wrench in Somnolent Wells City to prevent a chance of player not having any item to deal with one of the puzzles in that level.
- Various text fixes and changes

NEW CONTENT/CHANGES
- You can now show the Sphinx figurine to Tutu in Forest of the Lost.
- Changed "Nailed planks" (the shield) name to "Nailed boards" to differentiate it from "Nailed plank" (the weapon). I don't know what was I thinking!
- The gutter in The Doll House level now spawns thermos instead of a health potion.
BUG FIXES
- There was a small chance of the Somnolent Wells City to wrongly generate key items placements, leading to level becoming unbeatable. This should be fixed now (you need to Abandon dream and start over if you are already stuck!)
- Fixed Freezer in Somnolent Wells City (again! this time for good?)
- Fixed Attic's doorway glitch, preventing players from entering the room when replaying the Attic level and using the controller or keyboard for movement.
- Cocoons and several other elements would display wrong graphics on room's re-entry.
- Spider running around the tree trunk in the Forest of the Lost was causing issues when entering the room from the North. Spider's possible spawning locations have been updated.
- Amy's and Tutu's names and portraits were swapped during one line of a conversation.
- Fixed a glitch where a shield would be left permanently visible by the character's player if the combat ended due to damage over time while the player was defending.
- Fixed several instances of game soft-locking after double-clicking to perform an action.
- Fixed Dreams Journal from displaying multiple entries after dream 12 (in some instances)
- Fixed issue with some puzzle views displaying shaders carried over from another puzzle (or puzzle-like) elements like TV screen static.
- Few objects had wrong states, like the metal coffin in Cave after revisiting it when it was already fully investigated previously.
- A dialogue with Tutu about the kid in the Attic would end abruptly. It has been fixed.
- The clothes shop in Somnolent Wells City - the changing rooms were not clearly visible to some players, so the graphics have been updated.
- Combat with multiple mannequins would sometimes softlock after using a Slowing attacks. This should be fixed (you may still experience a several seconds delay)
- UI glitch causing "Interact" and "Close" prompts to be duplicated on the right side of Inventory screen has been fixed.
- Fixed several map issues with The Library.
- Several instances of missing texts have been fixed
- Several typos and grammar mistakes in both EN and PL versions

First of all, I want to thank everyone for the incredibly warm reception of Deep Sleep so far.
For the last two days, together with the QA, we were working hard on fixing the bugs that had slipped past us and made it to the released version.
Hopefully, this patch will help with some of the issues that have been found so far! We focused on the most important problems first, adding several easy-to-fix things to the pile.
Fixed (or at least greatly reduced probability of) game soft-locking after a specific sequence at the beginning of the game (the so-called infinite coma bug).
Fixed an issue with the freezer puzzle not properly unlocking the door in some instances.
Please note, there might be another issue around that area, that has not yet been fully identified and resolved.
Fixed issue with the game soft-locking while being interacted with several objects in a specific manner.
Please note, we are aware of several more instances of game soft-locking after player's action, but were not yet able to address them!
Fixed an issue with the Upgrades screen having more than one functionality tied with the same button on a gamepad controller.
Fixed several spelling and grammar issues both in English and Polish versions.
Fixed some controller-related menu navigation issues.
Various level map display issues were fixed.
That's not all the glitches that we are aware of and we will continue to work on fixing the bugs and language mistakes!
