FIXES
Customers & AI
Fixed customers getting stuck in one spot. (For real this time.)
Fixed customers randomly turning into cats. (Don't ask.)
Improved checkout queue behavior. Customers now move forward in the correct order, face the person ahead of them, and face the cashier when they reach the register.
Customers now wait until the shop has fully loaded before entering.
Chasing away a Yakuza with the bamboo stick now awards the same experience and achievement progress as using the baseball bat.
Workers
Workers now walk outside to dispose of empty boxes in the trash.
Isekai
Fixed a visual issue with the Isekai animation.
Fixed multiple Isekai animations playing simultaneously.
Save & Load System
Unreadable save files are now backed up automatically, allowing the current session to continue saving to the same slot.
Fixed an issue where one system failing to restore its data could interrupt the entire loading process or cause saved data to be lost.
Added a timeout to prevent the loading screen from getting stuck indefinitely if the loading process stalls.
Loading screens now display the current loading stage, including world initialization, save files, mods, furniture, packages, and more.
Added helpful gameplay tips to loading screens and level-up popups.
ADDITIONS & IMPROVEMENTS
Shop Rating Statistics
Want to see how your shop's reputation has changed over time? We've added new charts to the Shop Rating page to help you keep track of your store's performance.
Daily shop rating history.
Positive review counts.
Negative review counts.
Existing saves automatically populate the review charts using previously received reviews.
Mod Management & Performance
We've made several improvements to how Steam Workshop mods are handled, especially for players with large mod collections.
Starting a new game now prompts you to choose whether to enable mods.
Mods are disabled by default for new games.
Enabling any mod disables achievements for that save.
Mods that finish downloading during the loading process remain disabled until they are explicitly enabled.
Disabled mods are no longer imported into the current session, reducing unnecessary loading and memory usage.
Mod images are now resized and compressed in-game, significantly reducing memory usage for players with large Steam Workshop collections.
IMPORTANT: These optimizations should help resolve excessively long loading screens and crashes that occurred while loading save files, particularly for players with large mod collections.
Cat Customization
We've updated the names of the cat skins!

The first build of Gacha Capsule Mod Factory is here!
By tools, creativity, and questionable amounts of imported PNGs, the gates of the Gacha Capsule Mod Factory are now open!
The workshop is ready, the tools are laid out, and you can now start crafting your own mods for Gacha Capsule Shop Simulator.
What Can You Create?
- Capsule Pack Mods – Create custom capsule packs containing up to 12 figures.
- Poster Mods – Turn your own images into custom in-game posters.
- Wall Texture Mods – Give the walls of your shop a new look.
- Floor Texture Mods – Customize the ground beneath your feet.
Craft Your Own Figures
For capsule packs, you can import your own 3D creations using:
- GLB
- FBX
- OBJ
- STL
- GLTF
You can also import a PNG image and turn it into a plexi or a keychain to use as a figure.
Brochures & Icons
Every fine capsule pack needs a proper presentation.
The Factory can generate brochures and icons for your capsule packs, saving you some extra craftsmanship.
Build & Share
Once your creation is complete, you can build the mod locally and use it in the game.
And when you decide your work is ready to leave the workshop, you can upload it directly to the Steam Workshop from the Mod Factory.
Join the Playtest!
Gacha Capsule Mod Factory is currently in Playtest, and we're looking for people to try the tools, create some mods, and help us find anything that needs a little more hammering out.
If you'd like to join the Playtest, join our Steam Group or come find us on Discord.
This is only the first build of the Gacha Capsule Mod Factory. We'll continue improving the tools and adding more ways to create and customize content in future versions.
The workshop is yours. Happy modding!
