Hello MudRunners!
With this small update, we're excited to introduce crossplay between Steam and the Epic Games Store.
If you’re playing on Steam and want to play MudRunner with players on the Epic Games Store (EGS), you'll need to have an EGS account.
When joining the multiplayer menu, you’ll be asked if you want to enable crossplay.
If you don’t accept, you can only play with other Steam players that haven’t enabled crossplay.
If you accept, a web page will open in your browser asking you to log in to (or create) an EGS account.
To play MudRunner with friends from the Epic Game Store, you'll need to link your EGS account and Steam account.
First, you must link your Steam and Epic Games account. Please follow these instructions.
Once you've linked your accounts, a permission box will appear in your internet browser the next time you launch MudRunner on Steam.
Finally, to find your Epic Friends on Steam, you need to allow this permission:

Now, after creating a lobby, you will find your EGS friends in the friends list.
This update also fixes an issue with mods on Steam where mods created after June 2020 were not working in multiplayer.

In case you encounter major issues with this update, you can revert to the previous build.
To do this, go to your library, right-click on MudRunner > Properties > BETAS > Select “vers_11_05_19”

Today, we’re happy to launch a patch on PC, featuring bug fixes and gameplay improvements. As usual, please don’t hesitate to leave your feedback or ask us any questions you may have with regards to the changes.

Bug fixes
- Conflict between controller and mouse in fullscreen fixed.
- Multiple mesh/texture issues corrected (new trucks, houses, addons)
- Minor fixes to some of the truck attributes (suspension, mass properties)
Improvements
- Behaviour of 4x4 scout vehicles in the mud improved: smaller vehicles are more off-road capable now and more stable in mud
- Visual improvements to USA maps.
- Minor improvements to some of the addons (platform with loader is now longer)
- Some visual improvements: "birch" trees have now brown bark
- Modifications to new USA maps : additional routes added, and only 1 instead of 2 fuel stations are now available per map, making them more challenging and requiring more strategic thinking.

Hi everyone,
It's been a week since MudRunner came out, and we continue to work on dealing with some of the issues that are still around in the game.
Here are the main fixes:
- Fixed the steering wheel / mouse cursor bug. (You can now use a steering wheel and mouse at the same time.)
- Fixed the ".stg mismatch" issue in multiplayer
- If a game was played with mods, and the mods were later uninstalled, the "continue" trucks panel will now properly display the text "missing mod" and ???" instead of the truck name.
- Fixed some crashes caused by mods.
- Mods are now properly updated while the game is running.
- Mods that contain only add-ons will not longer be available in multiplayer games
- When you rescue a vehicle with a trailer, the trailer is now removed.
- C-260 can now be used with long log trailer.
- Minor UI fixes.
We'll give you more visibility on updates as soon as we can. Please continue to give us your feedback so that we can together continue to make MudRunner the best game it can be.
