About the Game
Ore Factory Squad is a co-op mining and factory-building game with procedural mining and fun at its core! Start from a small warehouse, buy properties, dig deep for resources, process what you extract, and turn it into profit. Expand step by step and turn a simple setup into a fully functioning factory.
Play solo or with up to 4 players, running the entire operation yourself or working together to build it faster!
Procedural Mining at Its Core
Every property features procedurally generated underground resources with no fixed paths, allowing you to dig freely and shape your own tunnels.
Start with a shovel, move on to pickaxes for tougher layers, use jackhammers to speed things up, and clear large sections with dynamite. As you go deeper, resources become more valuable, making each decision more important.
From Warehouse to Industrial Production
Your factory starts with simple machines and basic resources, then expands as you unlock new machines and recipes through progression and licenses.
Handle logistics with pallets and forklifts, connect your machines with conveyor belts to create more efficient production flows, gradually turning your warehouse into a larger and more capable industrial system.
Buy Properties, Dig for Profit
Purchase different types of properties, each featuring randomized resource distribution and profit potential.
From small backyards to big construction sites, forest areas, and large quarries on snowy mountains, each location offers a different environment and opportunities.
Dig, extract, process, and turn every property into profit as you grow into larger and more valuable operations.
Contracts, Sales, and Growth
Take on contracts from companies requesting specific products and quantities, negotiate deals, prepare deliveries, and load trucks to fulfill orders for higher rewards.
Manage your stock, use smart warehouse robots, organize shipments, and balance your growth with fast stock sales.
Tools, Upgrades, and Equipment
Begin with simple tools and unlock and upgrade more powerful mining equipment as you progress.
Upgrade your factory to expand your operation, increase your market reach, take on more contracts, improve negotiation rates, hire and manage workers, and gain licenses that unlock new machines and production lines.
Customize your character with different outfits, faces, gloves, and helmets, and personalize your factory with walls, floors, signs, and decorations.

Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
Hi Miners! ⛏️
We just released a small hotfix patch for the Masters of Oil update.
Please note that the update size may be a bit larger than usual due to some build machine changes and scene optimization improvements included in this patch.
This patch focuses on oil extraction behavior, tanker transfer timing, UI fixes, and several balance adjustments. Here’s what’s included in today’s update:
🛠 Fixes & Improvements
Fixed a bug with Oil Pipe On/Off behavior.
Oil transfer time from Tanker Truck to Oil Tank has been adjusted and matched with the Oil Pipe Head transfer timing.
Updated the on/off interaction text for Oil Pipe Head and lights to Turn On / Turn Off to avoid confusion.
Fixed an issue where the Tanker Truck sell price was not displayed correctly in the UI.
Fixed an issue where the Oil Pipe Head could continue providing oil even when the Tanker Truck was already full.
Added oil reserve amount UI to Oil Reserve and Oil Pipe Head.
Added interaction warnings for empty reserves, so players can better understand when a reserve no longer has oil available.
Added several balance changes to new item recipes & contracts.
Fixed an issue with the Equipment UI.
Fixed native language names for the newly added languages.
Thank you again for all your support, feedback, and patience while we continue improving Ore Factory Squad. See you in the factory! 💙

Hi Miners! ⛏️
We are aware of an issue related to Steam Cloud save conflicts that may cause players to lose progress after reverting to corrupted cloud save, or in some cases, prevent save files from loading correctly after sync problems.
We are currently working on a fix and plan to release it as soon as possible.
Until we are fully confident that the issue is resolved, we have temporarily disabled Steam Cloud Support for Ore Factory Squad.
Once Steam Cloud is enabled again, your saves should continue normally. However, if Steam ever asks you to choose between two conflicting saves, please make sure to select the newest and most up-to-date save file.
If you are currently having trouble loading your save file, please join our Discord and explain the issue to us. We’ll do our best to help.
Thank you for your patience.

Hi Miners! ⛏️
We’ve released a second patch for the recent private lobby security issue.
First of all, we’re sorry again to everyone who was affected. Invite-only rooms should be safe places to play with your friends, and we know how frustrating it is when that experience gets ruined.
After further investigation, we identified three users involved in this situation. They were using external methods to access private rooms, grief players, sell their items, and impersonate others, including developer names.
That is hacking, plain and simple. This behavior will not be tolerated. Anyone attempting to hack, grief, impersonate others, or access rooms they should not be able to join will face action.
To stop this from continuing, we have now added an authentication and ban system to the multiplayer flow and the three users involved are now banned from playing multiplayer.
We also had reason to suspect that hidden rooms could potentially be accessed through Steam user data. As part of this patch, we added extra protection for that side through the new authenticator system as well.
For now, lobby codes are still temporarily disabled. We’re continuing to work on a safer version of that system, and we hope to bring lobby codes back soon.
[table equalcells="1" colwidth=""]⚠️Please update your game to the latest version as soon as possible!
If you see anyone trying to do this again, please report it to us on Discord with as much detail as possible.
Thank you for your patience while we handle this properly.

Hi Miners! ⛏️
While we were working on preparing the roadmap for you, we discovered that some users were using external/hacking methods to abuse the private lobby system in ways that should not have been possible.
These users were joining rooms they were not supposed to access, disrupting other players’ games, selling items, and generally griefing sessions.
We want to be very clear, we have already identified the hackers involved, and we have the necessary account information. Action will be taken against those responsible for what they’ve done.
This update is a temporary security fix while we work on integrating a better and more permanent protection system.
For now:
Invite-only rooms can only be joined through direct Steam invites (you can send invites inside the game by clicking invite button from the pause menu)
Lobby codes are temporarily disabled and will not work
Invite-only rooms will no longer appear in the Server Browser
These temporary changes are here to protect players while we finish a stronger long-term solution.
We’re sorry for the trouble this caused to players who were affected. Thank you for your patience while we deal with this properly, and please keep reporting any suspicious behavior or issues you encounter.
