ORTMANN Pixel Art Designer © is a software tool that allows users to create their own Diamond Art® patterns from photos. The software also supports several other mosaic and bead-based crafting techniques, including:

• Diamond Art®
• Artkal Fuse Beads®
• Hama Fuse Beads®
• MiniSteck®
• Lego Mosaic®
• and many other mosaic techniques

Any favorite photo—such as a picture of a pet, a vacation memory, or another meaningful image—can be loaded and converted into a Diamond Painting pattern in just a few steps.

The software supports approximately 447 colors available on the market based on the DMC Diamond Painting color standard.

Supported color palettes include:

• DMC Diamond Color Palette: ~447 colors
• Artkal Mini: ~159 colors
• Artkal Midi: ~158 colors
• Hama: all essential base colors
• MiniSteck: 30 colors
• Lego Mosaic: 42 colors

The generated template can be printed easily. By using double-sided adhesive sheets available in craft stores, the printed template can be turned into a self-adhesive base. Alternatively, standard craft glue can be applied in small trays to coat the back of the diamonds before attaching them to the printout.

The template layout follows the familiar format used in Diamond Painting kits and cross-stitch charts. A detailed legend lists all required colors as well as the estimated quantity of diamonds or bead bags needed for the project.
