RuneScape: Dragonwilds started Alpha testing in late 2024, and is launching into Early Access in Spring 2025. From here, our humble team of heroes is developing the project with player feedback at the very core.

Heads up adventurers!
We'll be shipping another hotfix this morning - your dedicated servers will need to be restarted to apply the update!
Kharidian Flax and Redberry Floor Pieces will no longer cause a crash if you log out standing on them.
Fuzan can no longer follow the player out of Umbral Sands if you teleport away.
Combat Music now correctly resolves in Umbral Sands. Anxiety begone!

This patch resolves an issue where the Tzhaar-Ket-Om would crash the game after doing a specific chain of inputs.
Resolved an issue where various fishing locations were unusable.
Adamant Bolts can now be created without needing to first crafting Adamant Arrows.
Tok-Xil enemies now correctly drop items on death as intended.
Removed the old "Hard Leather" entities were being found in Umbral Sands chests.
Wading into quicksand and then into any water no longer shows the Sand VFX.
Users who can craft the Fire Cape cannot give the cape to unworthy recipients.
Crafting a skillcape for a skill should now trigger the Achievement for reaching level 99 in a skill.
Hello 'Scapers, we're back at it. Another scorching day under the sun, and Umbral Sands is pretty toasty too! Last night we deployed 0.12.0.2 - This patch re-enables localisation support for Steam Clients - the language your Steam Client is in will now automatically inform the game what language to start in.
A quick update from us about what we're investigating, fixing and deploying.
Here's what we're also looking into, with the aim of hotfixing as soon as we have a resolution.
Big headline is the visual issues around Trees, and by extension HLODs.
We're aware of Yew Plots not snapping correctly as other Farming plots do.
The team are continually investigating this, and your reports have been super helpful. Thank you! Targeting a hotfix this week.
We are looking at a fix to allow users to earn the achievements for 99s by crafting a skill cape, OR by reaching the required level.
This should only affect folks who don't already have it, but just a way to guarantee that everyone can achieve it moving forwards.
We're investigating the Splinter crash on Dedicated Servers - it's not just Willow as we previously highlighted in the blog post below.

We're checking an issue where Status effects remain on screen after the bar has emptied.
Some crafting/processing stations are disappearing on Dedicated Servers but still leave invisible blocking behind.
Thanks to everyone reporting this one, we're investigating the cause.

As for actions - we're looking to deploy 0.12.0.3, our next patch, today.
Here's what we're targeting for a hotfix as soon as possible:
Fuel Pellet Journal Entry incorrectly states where you craft it.
Issue affecting Death Exchange or Evil Emporium vendors requiring reputation from Umbral Sands.
Notification showing incorrect value of inventory items' stacks at Umbral Sands' Merchants.
Garou Chit values are incorrectly displayed on inventory items.
Fixed an issue where Food healing values were incorrectly halved on localised text strings.
Quantities in the UI popup on the left are doubling up on Dedicated Servers.
Certain Terrorbird variant consumables unlock the same variants, preventing others from being used.
"Contact!" and "Mapping the Sands I" show the player receiving two named rewards on the UI instead of one.
Here's what we're targeting for this week (0.12.0.4+ - these might not all be in the same hotfix.)
Fishing Locations in Fellhollow and Brynmoor are reporting that they cannot be fished in.
Adamant Bolts require users to have crafted Adamant Arrows first.
Tok-Xil enemies are not dropping items on death.
Dedicated Servers: Crafting Stations disappear if the server is restarted.
Dedicated Servers: Crashes when using the Splinter Skill Spell.
Wading into Quicksand, and then into water, shows the sand VFX.

This fix resolves issues where achievements were not unlocking correctly!
- Resolved an issue where the Fishing Frenzy and Fishnado spells were not working properly.
- Fixed an issue where Runecrafting Anima Siphoning perks
- Rebalanced the XP granted by bonus runes
The input to summon Mounts has been reverted from 2 seconds to 0.25 seconds. Tap and mount away!
An update will be going live. To protect save file integrity, users on Dedicated Servers are encouraged to collect any belongings from gravestones and rest at beds before forcing restarts of servers to apply this fix.
Resolved an issue where users could equip Skillcapes without the required level in the skill.
Resolved an issue where gravestones were missing after deaths in the Fractured Plains.
Map markers should no longer guide you to the wrong location on respawn.
An update will be going live. To protect save file integrity, users on Dedicated Servers are encouraged to collect any belongings from gravestones and rest at beds before forcing restarts of servers to apply this fix.
Minor skill tree perk passives no longer break under certain circumstances when players would die.
This also resolved an issue where food would burn at an unreasonable rate regardless of Cooking Skill Level.
Removed a boulder that obstructed a cave entrance below the Cathedral in Dowdun Reach.
There's a joke in there about Easter but we're a bit late.
Abraxus' Ring and the Shroud of Noggin recipes are now accessible at the Jeweler's bench as intended.
Smelting gives correct XP as intended.
Acolyte Wizard's lifesteal attack no longer continues to deal damage after being killed.
Resolved an issue where the Crystal Bow and Abyssal Whip Special Attacks would fire due East regardless of player direction in dedicated servers.
Not a sentence I ever expected to type.
We're back from an Easter weekend vacation for the team, and we've got another fix!
Players connecting to a dedicated server should not experience rollbacks on progress from previous sessions.
Resolved an issue where config files were overwritten on server shutdown
Patched a hole under water where players could fall through.
0.11.0.7 is now live! The hotfix contains the following:
Resolved an issue where audio from various biomes would overlap even when leaving the region.
Fixed an issue affecting the fixed-location Lodestone that is found in Dowdun Reach Approach.
Dedicated Servers WILL require a restart to apply this patch.
