So’lek’s journey begins in fire and vengeance. Prepare for the next chapter in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - From the Ashes, coming 19 December 2025.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora - “From the Ashes” takes place shortly after the events of the main game and takes you on the journey of So’lek, a battle-hardened Na’vi warrior from the Trr’ong clan.
Ambushed and left for dead by the RDA and their new allies, the ruthless Ash clan, So’lek awakens to a world in flames and his Sarentu family scattered.
Driven by grief and vengeance, he sets out to reunite with and protect his loved ones.
Title Update 1.4 for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora™ will be deployed on April 15th at 8:00 UTC / 10:00 CEST / 1:00 PST

Notable Changes:
- Hunter’s Guide has been updated! You can now mark entries as favorites and filter through them. Additionally, we also include an “Undiscovered Entries” filter, clearly displaying the entries you’re missing. Keep an eye out for missing entries while you’re playing.

Share your shots using #AvatarFrontiers – can't wait to see what you come up with!
- The “Gameplay” menu category has some new options:
“Gathering Controls Tutorial” – which enables you to more specifically choose how the on-screen gathering tutorials appear during gameplay.
“Quest Marker” allows you to choose how the Quest Marker is displayed in the world. You can select between having the marker be permanently visible, or make it appear only when using Na’vi Senses. - The map has been updated to improve the visibility of icons and markers;
- Pinned ingredients will now appear highlighted when nearby, making them easier to spot!
- In the Settings menu, you can find a new setting in the User Interface category called "HUD Contrast". This setting can help improve the readability of the HUD.
Notable Fixes:
Surprise! With this update, players will receive two new ikran patterns in their inventory: First Light & Dreamer’s Run! We’ll make sure to keep an eye out for your awesome Photo Mode shots 💙.
The update is about ~240MB in size. Other platforms are not affected.

Epic aerial battles await in the Spires of the Clouded Forest, a spectacular new mountainous region in Pandora's Western Frontier.
Explore and discover a fresh open world, built to elevate the thrill of flying on your ikran!
Sabotage RDA aerial convoys with new ikran skills and a brand-new mounted weapon.
Meet a secluded Na'vi clan and join them in their fight against a new RDA threat in the Spires region.
Get lost in the verticality of this new region, filled with canyons and caves, where unexpected dangers lurk in the shadows.
*The story pack continues the events of the main game. You can opt for skipping ahead to the start of the Secrets of the Spires story pack content. This will skip ahead through the events of the main story and equip you with everything you need to experience the story pack content. To begin, go to your quest log and select the quest "Anufi’s Favor”.
Secrets of the Spires:
A new map area, Spires of the Clouded Forest, is available:
Play through an all-new story campaign, side quests, and new activities.
Navigate and discover new biomes like the Tangled Peaks, Splintered Arches, Warrior’s Rise and more!
Deepen the bond with your ikran and unlock new skills and gear.
Encounter new aerial threats and master your abilities to overcome them.
Interact with new flora and wildlife and discover new ways of gathering and traversal!
Progression Updates:
[All Platforms] You can now use skill points to unlock and upgrade several new skills for your ikran, such as Ikran Smash, Launch, Flares and more!
Playstation 5 Pro Support:
60 FPS Quality Mode – The game will run at 60 FPS using Quality Mode on Playstation 5 Pro
Increased internal resolution - The increased hardware performance allows the game to reach both higher FPS and higher rendering resolution, resulting in increased resolution in certain scenarios.
PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) - Integration of the new machine learning-based temporal upscaler PSSR, which uses the new ML-hardware of the PS5 Pro, bringing better quality and performance.
Known Issues:
We will deploy a temporary fix for players who were experiencing issues playing on Windows 11 24H2. Please note that you may experience some performance issues while we work on a more permanent fix. As soon as it is ready, we will let you know. Thank you for your understanding.
[All Platforms] Warning message does not match the situation when trying to start the quest Anufi’s Favor in co-op without the player having completed the main story.
[All Platforms] Missing preview for ikran patterns while having any ikran body cosmetic override equipped in the in-game store.
[All Platforms] Map icons and overlays load slowly after every game load or respawn.
[All Platforms] “Responsibility” songcord bead has the same icon as “Our Reclamation”.
[All Platforms] Lens flare effects are present on every RDA light source.
[All Platforms] Infinite loading occurs for co-op players after the credits scene ends after playing “The Fight for Home” quest.
[All Platforms] Player character dialogue lines are too quiet while inside MTR Base Echo in the “Into the Mountain” quest.
[All Platforms] “Penance” quest cannot be completed due to the player character not being able to interact with the quest objective.
[All Platforms] Bonus damage for hitting the chiroptera’s weakspot does not properly apply.
[All Platforms] Players randomly receive rewards without looting or completing any quests.
[All Platforms] Missing “drop” button for ikran gear and Crossbow mods in the ikran menu.
[All Platforms] Hunter’s Guide mentions Healer's Hollow as a location for gathering legendary Dark Root, on the map this location is called Echoing Cavern.
