About the Game
Bots Are Stupid takes the 2D precision platformer genre and populates it with an infinite supply of stupid robots. Use the game’s simple programming language to teach them how to reach the exit, then watch as they follow your direct instructions, often dying in the process. With over 40 levels to command and conquer, there’s a substantial challenge for everyone.
All commands are designed to be as simple as possible, meaning you are not required to have any prior coding or tech knowledge to program the robots - the puzzles come from creating routines that complete certain level objectives quickly.
The game also features a sophisticated level editor, allowing players to create their own challenges which can be shared with the world. Show them how it’s done and then refine your routines to top the speedrun leaderboards.

Just a small patch to incorporate some of your suggestions and fix the most annoying text editor bugs.
I've been working on a bigger update with more advanced coding features, but uni's been super busy and I want to make sure I get it right. Will look into getting that done as soon as I have some more time at hand!

- TextEditor shortcuts:
* CTRL+Y to Redo (alternative to CTRL+SHIFT+Z)
* CTRL+LeftArrow/RightArrow to move cursor to the next word
* CTRL+Backspace to remove the last word
- Overall performance for some devices (this is hard to test for me, please let me know if you still have problems)
- Improve skippoint stability
- Simulations sometimes desyncing
- Being able to hook to a picked up orb after loading a previous state
- Global level overviews overriding personal ones in level selection
- Not being able to add a ghost of the last played local script when watching a score
- Commands/autocompletion being unlocked one level too late
- Popup menu not being interactable when trying to remove a score
- Mode selection popup when adding ghosts from the leaderboard
- Fix crashes
- Add ‘auto-repeat’ and ‘use all’ options when querying for the whole script
List of changes:
- Zoom in on the bot by scrolling with the mouse
- Shortcuts for aborting if script is running: CTRL+C and Alt/Shift+Enter
- Different cursor when hovering the text area
- Allow uppercase letters in commands
- TextEditor's caret now has a more fitting look for non-numbers
- Shortcut to exit game when pressing escape in the MainMenu
- Number context menu for whole numbers crashing
- "hook up ..." command not having any effect
- Invalid lines being executed but not counted
- Small desync between leaderboard time and actual finish time
- Rare rendering errors with Introbot
- Introbot getting stuck on Basic2
