Releasing additional fixes for most common issues, based on player feedback:
General stability improvements for all platforms.
Fixed an issue where the companion bot would not respawn after a player returned to a checkpoint.
Fixed an issue on Switch 2 mouse mode where interacting with equipment would cause a double input (for real this time).

Version 1.4.0.0
- Fixed significant late game performance regression affecting host players introduced in v1.2.0.0.
- Crash fixes and improved general stability.
- Fixed an issue where killing a Deadeye bot would cause the encounter to end prematurely, and auto start future waves.
- Fixed an issue where certain elemental particles would linger longer than intended.
- Fixed an issue where the Venator weapon would not apply its weapon skins.
- Fixed an issue with door forcefield alignment to prevent stealth from accidentally being triggered before entering the next room.
- Fixed an issue where friends could show as online even after they had gone offline.
- Fixed an issue where players could incorrectly despawn bots.
- Fixed DLSS Frame Generation being incorrectly disabled when transitioning to a different map.
- [Switch 2] Fixed an issue where client players couldn't interact or ready-up while in mouse mode.
- [Switch 2] Fixed an issue where motion controls got stuck on when transitioning to mouse mode.
After the latest round of performance optimizations in Version 1.2.0.0, we did see an increased crash rate and lower performance stability than usual on PC and console platforms. We apologize for the decrease in performance during this time, and really appreciate everyone's feedback in helping us identify the key issues quickly and also your patience as we worked to get this patch ready and out!
This patch should significantly improve overall performance and stability, and we'll be monitoring Steam, Discord, Reddit, and QQ closely for feedback as well to make sure everything is running smoothly. Thanks for being part of the Deadzone: Rogue community, and wishing everyone all the best!

Version 1.3.0.0
This patch is to address DLC issues on Steam, and some crash and performance issues. Nintendo Switch 2 is currently behind as of this update, and will temporarily be unable to crossplay with other platforms until the update is certified and released for Nintendo Switch 2. Thanks for your patience!

- Fixed an issue where the CEO Boss was spawning in Crossfire
- General crash and performance fixes (first round)

- We made a variety of enhancements, with the largest being an overhaul to how bot deaths are handled to make it more performant
Fixes
- Fixed a crash that would occur when the player was hit with the freeze projectile from Ice Guardians. Re-added the freeze attack.
- Fixed an issue in co-op where joining players’ grenades would use the level of the host instead of their own when calculating damage
- Fixed an issue where if a player exited the Forge, their weapon would sometimes stop animating
- Fixed an issue where weapon settle animations would not play after swapping weapons or using your melee/grenade
- Fixed an issue where player's items would not show up on end of match screen
- Fixed an issue where currency drops could get stuck in vein environment geometry
- Fixed an issue where weapon ADS reticle could become offset
- Fixed an issue where the Mine Launcher’s mines were not blocked by Dome Shield
- Fixed an issue where spectating players could not swap between other players
- Fixed an issue where Sigmail and the Codex being opened SFX could be heard by joining clients when the host interacted with them
- Fixed an issue with the MARK II Cyber Hoops score counters not animating correctly if the player looked away then looked back at them while they were animating

Deadzone: Rogue Release Patch Notes - 1.1.15.0
- Fixed an issue where the Radiation perk and element reward was not granted after beating Distress Call. Thanks all for your feedback to help us catch this issue!
- Added a skip option to the final cutscene in Zone 4 - Getting Answers.
- Radiation Meltdown damage now more consistently does 2x the damage of the instigating hit.
- Disabled the mission rating at the end of run screen.
- Barrels can now be pinged through while holding one.
- Fixed an issue where joining players would sometimes not see the host’s nameplate decorations.
- Fixed an issue where the Breaker and Draining blessed affixes were not rolling.
- Fixed an issue where Soulbound count would reset if you sanctify the gun again or reroll your other weapon mod.
- Fixed an issue where the elemental pet bot would not properly apply debuffs to enemies.
- Fixed an issue where the barrel gamepad binding prompts were not showing.
- Fixed an issue where the interact prompt would get stuck on a player’s HUD if they were in an item selection screen when a cutscene was triggered.
- Fixed an issue where having a player inside the mission travel volume while the starting ship was changing locations would make it impossible to start a mission.
- Fixed a typo in Rail Gunner description where it incorrectly said it increased damage by 5%, when it actually increases it by 25%.
- Fixed an issue where sometimes Augment and Perk toasts would get stuck on a player's HUD at low opacity.
- Fixed an issue where the starting ship loading screen would not display the correct location text when joining another player's lobby.
- Fixed an issue where the Invincible and Back to Basics achievements would unlock after spectating a run.

- Disabled the freezing mechanic on the Ice Guardian bot.
- Dev Note: The freeze attack was causing a new crash for console players. We have removed the freeze attack for now, while we work on a fix for the issue. In the meantime, the Ice Guardian will use a chilling attack instead that is safe.
- Fixed an issue where the codex could not be scrolled using a gamepad.
- Fixed an issue where Synergies would stop working. This was caused from using a synergy a certain amount of times over the user's playtime, then either respawning or coming back to a checkpoint.
- Fixed several miscellaneous crashes.

Game Browser
- Removed the ping metric in co-op lobby browser.
- Dev Note: The ping metric was too intensive on the host of the lobbies and could cause poor co-op performance. We removed this feature so co-op players can have a better experience.
Avatars
- Removed unlock requirements for the Lost to the Void avatar
- Dev Note: This avatar was granted for early access participation. It was accidently unlocked for everyone and then the requirement reset, locking people out of it. We decided to keep it unlocked for everyone to resolve the issue.
Bots
- Lowered Vassal's time between attacks so he doesn’t idle as much.
- Vassal's tractor beam weakpoint exposed later (1.5s ->1.9s).
- Lowered Vassal's weakpoint exposure time (7s -> 5s).
- Adjusted the Shadow Watcher's radial wave FX.
Fixes & Notes
- Fixed an issue on PS5 and Xbox where TVs and monitors over 60hz were getting frames throttled to 40hz, leading to an artificially low frame rate and poor performance.
- Fixed a crash related to bot spawning.
- Fixed an issue where the game browser could not be scrolled.
- Fixed a softlock that could occur if a Carrier Turret was stuck on a door.
- Fixed an issue where you could not exit Uniform Chaos IV due to another room spawning on top of it.
- Fixed an issue where moving platforms in the bonus rooms would server correct joining clients.
- Fixed an issue where having the Intelligent weapon mod would give the player Smart Bullets forever.
- Fixed an issue where players could not revive in co-op in the false safe room.
- Fixed an issue where players could get stuck at the bottom of bonus room pits.
- Fixed an issue where the Shadow Watcher's Radial Wave attack was not visible for joining co-op players.
- Fixed an issue where enemy mine blast attacks could go through the Dome Shield.
- Fixed an issue where throwable objects (i.e. barrels) would experience desync when thrown as a joining client.
- Fixed an issue where the Forge VFX would activate when it was not supposed to.Fixed an issue where the Crossbow's reticle VFX would disappear if the player swapped weapons.
- Fixed an issue where the active perk widget was getting stretched and corrected spacing/scale of the active perk display (items, super items, synergies, and weapon mods)
- Fixed an issue where weapon mod icons would not hide after swapping to a different weapon.
- Fixed an issue where synergies that required locked perks would still be displayed as available.
- Fixed a pipe collision that would abruptly stop players.
- Fixed an issue where the abandon match button was not visible in the prologue mission
- Fixed an issue where offline hint text didn't properly hide when session type was changed to online in the multiplayer screen.
- Fixed an issue where in the mission select screen, if you selected a locked mission that did not support your preferred difficulty (i.e. zone 4 Prelude where preferred difficulty is normal), the UI would sometimes not properly display that the mission was unavailable.
- Fixed an issue where the loading screen after starting the game would always say "Docking with colony ship..." when your location was set to Apophis or Earth.
- Note: AMD has reported their latest GPU driver has an increased crash rate. If you are on an AMD GPU on driver version Adrenalin 25.12.1, it is recommended to roll back to an older version, 25.9.1.
