About the Game

Get ready to experience POSTAL from a brand-new perspective!
This boomer-shooter spin-off of the fan-beloved Running With Scissors’ franchise will take you further down the rabbit hole than any previous game of the series. You’re not in Paradise anymore, and things are about to get weird, as POSTAL: Brain Damaged happens within the twisted psyche of the POSTAL DUDE, himself! Yes, a whole new, retro-modern, action-oriented, skill-based approach to POSTAL. "Did HYPERSTRANGE pull it off" - you might ask. Oh, yes. It seems we did:Wild setting? Even wilder gameplay! While staying true to POSTAL’S trademark tone and humor the game plays very different to all the previous titles in the series. What you get is fast, challenging, and full of varied, meticulously designed enemies and environments. If you’re surfing the tidal wave of throwback shooters or enjoyed the latest installment of that game where you single-handily take on the forces of Hell invading Earth, you will feel right at home (even more so if your home smells really bad).
Make sure your body is ready to:
- Explore an all-new, hand-crafted world full of surprises
- Experience the challenging, fast-paced gameplay with quake-like movement and outrageous level design
- Take a trip through the rich, twisted, ever-changing environments of POSTAL DUDE’S deranged mind
- Shoot a variety of insane guns at some of the freakiest enemies to ever grace computer screens
- Follow the all-original story line making the POSTAL-VERSE continuity even more effed-up than it was
- Hear Corey Cruise returning as the POSTAL DUDE, with guest appearances from other fan-beloved voices
- Enjoy the POSTAL series trademark dark, crude humor and glorification of fantasy violence
It’s a mad game for the mad times, kids! From the studio that brought you ELDERBORN and Blood West, comes the first-person shooter you didn't know you need in your life - POSTAL: Brain Damaged.

Official update history
Due to a recently disclosed security vulnerability found in some Unity-built games, we wanted to let you know that we’ve already taken care of it on our side.
There’s no indication that the issue was ever exploited or that anyone was affected, but fixes have already been released - and we applied them right away to ensure that POSTAL: Brain Damaged are now fully patched and secure.
You don’t need to do anything on your side - just keep your game updated as usual. We’ll continue to monitor the situation and follow the latest security recommendations to keep everything running safe and sound.
Stay safe!
Hyperstrange out.

Bugs screamed. Code cried. The patch didn’t care.
Everything acting up got dragged out back and “retired” permanently.
We nuked the nastiest bugs, smacked the keybinds until they learned some manners, and even the elevators got taught a lesson.
Here’s what we hammered into shape this time:
Fixed custom keybinds not saving properly. There’s one final reset with this patch, but once you set them again, they’ll stick for good.
Cleaned up tons of small map issues, including clipping, textures, and other minor cases.
Achievements that were unlocking incorrectly should now work as intended.
Falling into the kill plane will no longer respawn you at the wrong location.
Fixed a bug where Balloonmen could spontaneously explode a few seconds after loading a save.
The fuse box on the first DLC level should now work properly for everyone.
We’ve adjusted saving on the first level: you can still save before or after the elevator ride, but not while it’s moving - turns out the elevator refuses to cooperate mid-journey.
Stay cool, sip your drinks, enjoy the last days of summer… 'cause October’s forecast has Hurricane Dude on the radar, bringing a rain of update heavy enough to drown the maps like a clogged motel bathroom.
Hey dudes!
You yelled, we listened - the new update cranks up the weapons, not just tweaking the numbers but also their special features!
This is just the first round of tweaks, so jump in, see how the guns feel now, and tell us what you think in this thread.
We’ll keep tuning them until they hit just right!

The sun is blazing, the cocktails are fruity, and the Dude is still pissed.
Two days into The Daze and you've already given us a truckload of feedback. We’ve seen the positive stuff, it fuels us to dream up even nastier dudemares for you in the future.
And we’ve seen the critical stuff, it helps us clear the summer-autumn fog and make the game sharper, meaner, and more fun.
Balance? First dedicated patch is coming soon.
Bugs? Eliminated mercilessly, as they crawl out.
Content? Horde Mode arenas and more goodies are already lined up.
For now, here’s today’s hotfix:
Fixed an issue where some players with old saves couldn’t access the purchased DLC.
UI now correctly shows how much you’ve peed in the tanks in front of the hotel to open the door.
Fixed the water/sand area at the end of the ship so enemies behave there as they should.
Fixed visual issues with piss tanks in one of the ship sections.
Fixed enemy aggro triggers that were firing incorrectly.
Fixed a softlock with the storage doors on the cruise ship.
Fixed a potential softlock during the fight with dogs on the beach.
Fixed collision issues on the pier at the beach.
Fixed a crash caused by the Balloon Guys falling under the map (this should prevents the crash on Map 3).
Fixed DLC achievements not unlocking properly if you own the DLC / due to weird edge cases.
Fixed players sometimes being unable to get the key on the rollercoaster.
Added extra VFX when hitting something with the sniper rifle.
Improved lighting on the second Horde Mode level.
