Grind Survivors throws you into a relentless action rogue- and survivors-like where you battle endless waves of hellspawn as a towering demon hunter. Set in a post-apocalyptic Earth overrun by demonic corruption, every run is a fight for survival, and a chance to grow stronger.

Fellow Demon Hunters!
Another round of balance changes to make progression smoother and more enjoyable. Because, apparently some of the enemies became a bit TOO grindy after the recent Major Update.
With this hotfix, we already released two quick balance patches after discovering that some enemies became unintendedly too grindy. The goal is to challenge your builds, not your patience.
We would really appreciate you to provide us with your feedback on Steam; we really need it. Does the Skill Tree progression and enemy difficulty feel better now? Or are there still issues we should tackle?

Here's the latest Hotfix changelog:
Hell Dust Drops
Hell Dust drop rates have been significantly increased across the game.
Bosses now reward significantly more HellDust.
Hell Dust scaling across higher difficulty levels has been greatly improved.
Skill Tree Improvements
Increased stat gains from several Skill Tree perks.
Expanded the upgrade limits of several Skill Tree perks.
Enemies
Reduced the overall health of enemies across all difficulty levels.
Significantly reduced health scaling from enemy modifiers.
Significantly reduced the amount of healing enemies receive.
Significantly reduced the physical damage resistance of modified enemies.

Warning: Current Skill Tree progress will be fully refunded, allowing all players to respec from scratch. Future Skill Tree refunds will return only 90% of invested resources.

Enemy Modifiers
Inspired by some of our favorite action RPGs, we've added a new system to increase enemy variety. Enemy packs can now spawn with special modifiers that change their stats, behavior, visuals, and rewards.
Some of the modifiers include:
Armored – highly resistant to physical damage.
Duplicator – splits into smaller enemies upon death.
Shrapnel – releases projectiles when killed.
Anchor – slows players within its aura.
Spike – leaves behind a dangerous hazard upon death.

Expanded Skill Tree
The Skill Tree is now significantly larger than before.
We've expanded the tree with new branches, each focused on a distinct playstyle and offering more opportunities to specialize your build.

ENVY
Master elemental damage and status effects. Chain lightning between enemies, strengthen frost effects, create larger explosions, spread curses, and unlock powerful burn synergies.GREED
Focus on economy and progression. Earn more Ash, gain more XP, improve pickups, scale faster, and grow stronger throughout a run.PRIDE
Enhance mobility and survivability. Dash more often, move faster, recover health, and cheat death when things get dangerous.WRATH
Pure combat power. Increase damage, attack speed, critical strikes, reload speed, and weapon range.
GLUTTONY
Become a master of the Forge. Reduce crafting costs, strengthen affixes, improve upgrade success rates, and make better use of your resources.

The Major Update: Affixes Expansion is now live! We’ve overhauled how weapon modifiers work to give you more control, more variety, and more power.

Affix Rarity and Affix Pool
Affixes now have their own rarity tiers, independent of weapon rarity. While any weapon can technically roll any affix quality, higher-tier weapons have a significantly better chance of rolling a Legendary affix.
We’ve also doubled the number of affixes in the game, with most of the new additions focused on increasing DPS.

The Reforge System (Reroll)
You can now reroll both affix values and affix types using your extra Helldust. The reroll cost increases with each attempt.

Filters
Managing hundreds of weapons is now easier with the newly added Affix Filters.

UI/UX & Quality of Life
Added an option to highlight enemies close to the player (enabled by default)
Added an option to show HP bars above hit enemies (disabled by default for smaller enemies)
Extended scrollbar interaction with faster scrolling and added scrollbars for list screens
Added a 0.5s delay before perk selection to prevent accidental double clicks
Gameplay
Added a short coyote time window for Dash. Dashing at the moment of taking damage now avoids the hit
Forge Improve now removes only 1 level on failure instead of all levels
Reworked ability cooldown reduction for the Faceless Rage perk:
Old: -0.1s per kill
New: -1% of remaining cooldown per kill
The second stack of the Heavy Shot synergy now applies immediately in Infinity Mode
The Yoga icon now appears in the buff tray when standing on burning ground, and the Crit bonus is applied correctly
Implemented new Burn status logic to prevent flickering fire VFX
Digger no longer repeatedly hides underground and will not deal damage unexpectedly
Fixed gaps in enemy wave spawns in Infinity Mode

Fixed an issue where the game could get stuck on pause when changing focus during a win sequence
Fixed power-up pickup animation breaking when moving away too quickly
