About the Game
It's a Shipper's biggest fear. You're grounded in the exclusion zone, twenty miles of death and decay sealed off by the towering, suffocating walls erected after the collapse.
Alone, stranded, and with limited resources at your disposal you'll have to push your way through the zone, solve environmental puzzles, manage resources and fight for your life as you try to find a way to escape beyond the wall.
Play as Mica, an unlicensed black market shipper who will stop at nothing to find her missing partner.
It’s been 12 days since Sasha left.
You talked about it, you argued about it and you even laughed about it. Anybody in their right mind knew going to that place was a death wish, a one-way trip to the end of the line. But Sasha wasn’t one to scare easily, she wanted answers and there was only one place those answers held any truth. Her mind was already made up, you just didn’t expect her to do it without you.
Twelve sleepless nights later and you finally get the call. Tax has found someone, A border security suit looking to make some extra credits on the down-low. He can get you clearance, a two hour window to fly into the zone, find Sasha and get the hell out of there.
You make your way across the exclusion zone but something’s wrong. The nav's running in circles and you're losing altitude. Before you know it a blinding white fills the sky. The dash goes dark and your hover drops out of the air like a lead balloon, slamming into the paved streets below.
You wake to the acrid smell of an electrical fire, rain pounding on the cracked windshield. You're surrounded by the crumbling remains of what were once considered homes.
You need to find a way out. Call for evac, scale the walls. Something. Anything. Survive.

Up to date
Hey all, just a small patch to address a couple of issues that have been flagged since v2.0.
Some text strings in the Japanese localization were muddled, these have now been fixed and should be displaying the correct text where needed.
The invert third person camera toggle was previously not working for the beginning section with Sasha on the beach. This has now been fixed too.
I am aware of some performance issues that have cropped up in v2.0 in exterior locations when playing on Steam Deck. I'm still working out what has caused this but will push another patch when I have a solution. For the time being, enabling half rate shading on the Steam Deck performance settings should give a decent boost to FPS.
Thanks for all of your support!

Hey all, another quick patch.
A couple of users have reported issues with using the Severed Hand and Scissors inventory items added in the content update. The flag for using these items was missing an additional step present with other interactions in the game, causing unreliability when using them from the inventory. This has now been resolved.
Patch notes:
Thanks again everyone! I really appreciate the support and all of your positive reviews left for the game :)

Hey all, quick patch here.
Seems I didn't catch one of the bugs with the latest Restoration Update.
There was an issue with the lock-on target for the explosives on the brick wall in the Underground Station not triggering for some people.
This should now be resolved.
Patch notes:
Thanks again for your patience and continued support. Apologies to anyone that ran into this issue and had it sour their experience of the game.

Hey all, thanks for your support and enthusiasm for Hollowbody.
I've made another patch to address some issues that have been reported this weekend. This patch will not conflict with your existing save files.
Patch notes:
Some clarification on the FPS Cap:
VSync in Graphics Options now has three options:
Uncapped - Allow the game to run without a FPS limit.
Target: Monitor Refresh Rate - The game will aim to lock FPS at your monitor's current refresh rate.
Target: Half Monitor Refresh Rate - The game will aim to lock FPS at half of your monitor's current refresh rate.
If for example you have a 120Hz monitor, setting VSync to 'Target: Half Monitor Refresh Rate' will cause the game to cap at 60FPS.
I recommend capping to either your monitor's refresh rate or half if you're experience heavy GPU load.
Hopefully that clears things up!
Please note, you may need to restart your Steam client for this update to be available
Thanks again everyone. I'll keep patching as things crop up.

The Hollowbody Playable Teaser has now been updated to v1.1
Here's hoping I didn't break anything ;D
By far the most requested feature for the demo was an option for traditional tank controls. These are currently in BETA, there may be some quirks and I'm eager to hear your feedback.
A toggle for tank controls can be found in the options menu.
Here's the full list of updates for this patch:
- Debug dodge ability removed
- Fixed EQ on Phone NPC voice in room 1.3
- Pistol damage decreased by 1/3
- Enemy lock-on no longer requires the enemy to be visible onscreen
- typo fixes
- idle to walk transition speed increased
- Tank controls toggle added to options menu
