Call of the Wild: The Angler is an open world fishing game that delivers the challenge of the catch and the freedom to explore. Play solo or with up to 11 friends and experience the thrill of finding and fighting Legendary fish species.

If you have experienced a block after completing the Railway Fishing mission or White Spotted Char Gear Challenge then you will unfortunately have to wait a little longer before being able to progress. We have identified a fix but we need to cook a little longer for those who have already hit these blockers.
This Hotfix will stop this block from triggering for new players who play these missions/gear challenges.
We've fixed a crash that was caused when scrolling down the list of lures while using the Quick Menu.
Space bar will no longer function as if it is the enter key and will no longer send messages when pressed.

Some of you found your way into the upcoming Japan Reserve after yesterday's patch. We have now hotfixed that, so we hope those of you who got a taste of Japan had a good time while you could! Only 6 more days... Hang in there?

- Various crashes are now solved.
- Foliage is no longer showing up in places that it has no business being!
- When joining a reserve, you will no longer automatically matchmake into a multiplayer session with Multiplayer Matchmaking set to "Off"

Patch Notes
Gameplay
- The bail arm no longer closes automatically when using a lure or jighead spinning rig, which used to prevent players' bait from sinking.
Audio
- We’ve fixed a bug with the boat engine audio that would cause it to play continuously in certain instances.
For some time now, there have also been online issues across platforms. We assure you all that we're working hard to understand the cause and swiftly solve this. We want to be transparent that it will take some more time to get these online features back to where they need to be, but we are working to get our servers running properly again as soon as possible.

Gameplay
- We've fixed a crash that occurred for some players returning to Golden Ridge Reserve, Norway, or Spain after leaving and saving the game in a boat before Patch 1.5.5.
- We've resolved an issue that previously caused the first 25% of the Accessible Cast feature's power bar to be unusable, leading to delayed or failed casts.
Graphics
- The issue of pixelated reflections on water when using Ultra graphical settings, caused by an SSR problem, has now been resolved.
- We’ve fixed an issue with broken extended/painted shadows sometimes seen on the ground.

It's a small hotfix today, Anglers! Let's get right into it.

- We've fixed an issue with the scrollbar in the Storage menu. You can now fully access your storage again.
- The Daily and Weekly challenge rewards are being reverted back to XP. Daily challenges have XP rewards and the weekly challenge for next week will award XP too.
Gameplay
- The high level reward gear, the Tief Tauch, and Camaron reels have been updated to perform to the desired specification.
- We've updated the Diamond fish spawn rate in the Spain Reserve to be more in line with GRR and Norway.
Visual
- We’ve fixed an issue with certain assets not loading properly after using the fast travel option in Spain.
Dev Team’s Note: Fast travelling across Spain was causing random assets such as watch towers, characters, or vegetation to fail loading in some instances. This problem has now been fixed which should also resolve some stability-related issues.
Progression
- Players will now be correctly rewarded with XP for picking up collectible items in Spain.
UI
- The News Feed got a refresh to feature the latest content added to the game.
