About the Game
GHALYAN'S HOOKAH LOUNGE IS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!
A co-op hookah shop simulator for you and up to three friends. Your cargo pod just docked at a space station with empty pockets and a lounge to run. The last owner left in a hurry. Nobody asked why.
THE BOWL WON'T PACK ITSELF
Pack the bowl, stretch the foil, poke the holes, heat the coals. Then do it all again, faster, because table six is getting angry. Brew coffee, blend Nebulas, microwave burgers and get every order to the right alien before their patience runs out.
THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS HUNGRY
Ships drop off a steady stream of alien customers, and some pull up to the drive-thru without even landing. Most of them just want a smoke. Some of them want to eat the staff.
HOT COALS, COLD FEET
Everything on this station runs on real physics, and that includes you. Touch a hot coal and you catch fire, stand in front of the wrong hatch and you get launched into space, fall from too high and you hit the floor like a sack of potatoes. Thanks to proximity chat, everyone hears you panic before they see why.
GRAVITY NOT INCLUDED
The station's gravity generator is not exactly reliable. Without warning it cuts out, and hookahs, coals, customers and crewmates all lift off the floor. When it kicks back in, everything in the air lands at once. Can you still deliver the orders mid-flight?
FROM BARE WALLS TO THE COZIEST SPOT ON THE STATION
Every credit goes back into your shop. Hang paintings, roll out carpets, install an aquarium, spruce up the place, open the drive-thru and unlock the elevator. Every upgrade shows up in the lounge and brings in more cash. Become the best shopkeepers in the galaxy, or at least the loudest. Money left over? Buy a G-String.

- Main menu social buttons now open our new Parita Games accounts.
Coming Soon
- Black Tea
- Crazy Chicken
- New hookah sets
- New upgrade system
New
- Space Puke: Some customers now throw up as you go to take their order. Step in the puddle and you slip and fall. Stand too close and green slime slides down your screen.
- Mop: Grab the new mop from the storage room and scrub the puddles away.
- Single Player: Start a save in Single Player and run the lounge on your own.
- Ready to Use Hookahs: From day 4, six assembled hookahs wait on the lower counter, ready for a bowl.
- Bigger Grill: Also on day 4, the coal grill holds 15 coals and the coal pot carries more.
Sound and Visuals
- Two new radio tracks: PULSAR DRIVE and ACID COMET.
- The upper floor has its own music now. The radio fades into ACID COMET as you head upstairs.
Gameplay Changes
- Tighter day-by-day unlocks: tobacco rows open on days 1, 2 and 3, the three syrups on day 4, and the blender and Nebula drink on day 5.
- Income doubled: sales and tips now pay twice as much.
New
- Difficulty modes: Choose Chill, Normal or Hard when you start a new game. Chill brings fewer customers who wait longer, Hard brings more customers, less patience and bigger orders. Your existing saves continue on Normal.
- Cozy corner: The front pier has a new corner with floor cushions. Sit down, put your hookahs wherever you like and smoke with your crew.
- Bottle flip: Sodas now land with a backward flip when you put them down.
- Hookah buzz setting: You can now turn off the smoking buzz in Settings.
- New achievements: 8 new achievements, two of them hidden. Achievements no longer depend on crew size: Full Crew is now Full Service and Stop, Drop and Roll is now Hot Delivery, so solo players, duos and trios can earn every one.
Sound and Visuals
- Pickup prompts now show the name of the object.
- While you carry a hookah, coffee or Nebula, the screen shows what is inside it.
- The sprint icon is smaller and sits next to the voice icon, just above the hints in the corner.
- The siren dog's light now comes from its head lamp and the lounge dims further.
- The alien voice option now changes only the pitch.
- Tutorial labels now say Take Water and Serve Water, and the arrows stay in place in the third-person camera.
Gameplay Changes
- Placing items is easier: the ghost slides to the nearest free spot.
- Customers are more patient, 1 in 5 orders comes without a hookah, and upgrades are 10% cheaper.
- After the tutorial, the arrow points to the tip jar instead of the shop.
- When a friend joins or leaves, prices and customer flow change at the start of the next day, and customers arrive at a pace that fits the new crew.
- The siren dog's reach is a little shorter.
- A swallowed crewmate can be slapped free only after the dark screen ends, with a second between slaps.
- A placed hookah turns its hose toward the player who placed it.
Fixes
- You can no longer walk through the ship's outer walls, engines and back tower.
- Slaps now hit your friends reliably.
Everyone in a lobby needs to be on the same version. If your game has not updated, restart Steam.
New
- Sit Anywhere: Every seat in the lounge, downstairs and upstairs, is now yours. Look at a seat or stand on it and press E. The booths seat four around the table.
- Smoke From Your Seat: Sit down with a hookah hose in hand, or reach for a ready hookah from your seat, and smoke without getting up.
Sound and Visuals
- The upgraded lounge seats and tables are lower and better proportioned.
Gameplay Changes
- Customers no longer take a seat someone is sitting on.
- The siren dog reaches you from much farther away during Last Call.
- Getting back up after a knockdown takes a moment longer, so you actually see yourself stand up.
- When gravity comes back, things you set down return to where they were instead of dropping and tipping over.
Fixes
- Tables on the upper floor can be cleaned again.
- Trash in the upper floor bin now stays inside the bin.
- You can no longer walk through the sofas after upgrading the lounge.
- The vacuum no longer pulls players in while its hatch is closed.
- Players can no longer get knocked out through the glass tunnels to the storage room and the drive-thru.
Everyone in the lobby needs to be on the same version. If the game didn't update, restart Steam.
New
- Siren Dog: When LAST CALL starts, a siren dog bursts out of a puff of smoke near the spawn point, blares its siren for 9 seconds and slaps anyone who gets too close. Then it vanishes the same way. Customers are safe, it only slaps the crew.
- Alien Voice Mod: A new option under Mic Volume in Settings, on by default. Your proximity voice turns into a thin, squeaky alien voice for everyone who hears you. Turn it off to sound like yourself again.
- Gravity outages are live: On day 2, gravity goes out once around mid-day. From then on it can strike around mid-day again, though some days stay calm. Turn the gravity valve to bring it back.
- Hookah buzz: Take two puffs from a hookah and your view starts swaying in shifting colors for 10 seconds. Every extra puff adds 2 more.
- Syrup labels: Look at a syrup coffee or a Nebula to see which syrup is in it, just like hookah flavors.
Sound and Visuals
- Customer ships now hum, play a launch sound as they come in to dock and a goofy one as they fly off. You only hear them at the dock.
- Drive-thru ships have their own arrival and departure sounds, heard through the window.
- Opening the ice machine lid lets out a little puff of cold vapor.
- Plant slap arms are yellow again, matching the crew.
Gameplay Changes
- Crews of 2 to 4 who keep serving fast can now fill every table. Slower crews still get customers at their own pace.
- Getting back up after a knockdown is quicker, and it takes the same time no matter what knocked you down: a slap, a customer spitting you out, and so on.
- While gravity is off, plates, served food, placed items and the coal pot float up higher.
- Placing items on the bar's under-counter shelf is easier, and items there can no longer be grabbed from outside the bar.
- Soda cans are held higher in hand.
Fixes
- Covering two hookah bowls with foil back to back could open two close-ups at once and leave a bowl stuck and unclickable.
- Coal left on the grill when it shut off could look cooked but couldn't be picked up by hand or with the pot.
- The gravity valve could become unclickable for some players. It now always works for both host and guests.
Everyone in a lobby needs to be on 0.2.3 to play together. If the game hasn't updated yet, restart Steam.
Customer flow
- Solo: days 1 and 2 now bring at most two customers at a time, so there is time to learn the shop. From day 3 the normal flow is back.
- Customer pacing at the start of a session now counts the full time a hookah takes, including heating the coals on the grill and carrying them to the table.
Fixes
- A hookah with its hose attached now shows its full shape when you place it.
- Fixed the coffee grinder beans and the coffee machine's OFF labels floating in mid-air on the night before coffee unlocks.
- Coffee day now starts with a coffee pack on the shelf.
- Items that have not unlocked yet, like the straw holder, no longer block you from placing things where they will later appear.
Graphics settings
New GRAPHICS option in Settings > Display: Low, Medium and High.
On first launch the game picks a level for your graphics card, so laptops and older GPUs start on Low. You can change it any time.
Low renders at 75% resolution with FSR upscaling, turns off anti-aliasing, ambient occlusion and extra light shadows, and uses half resolution textures. It runs much lighter on cards with 2 GB of video memory.
Audio
New OUTPUT DEVICE option in Settings > Audio: send the game sound to your headset or speakers without changing your Windows default.
Gameplay
Customers arrive a little slower. The last update made the lounge busier than we wanted.
Falls and the vacuum
Stepping off the dock now eases the camera into the fall instead of snapping it.
The vacuum now throws you the same way as the trash, past the ember room window.
Fixed the camera dropping below the station after getting back up from a vacuum ride in third person.
If a friend can't join, make sure you both have the latest version. Restarting Steam starts the update.
- The waste ejector now swallows players too. Wander too close while the hatch is open and you ride the pipe straight out into space, along with whatever trash you were holding.
- Falling off the dock or getting launched out of the ejector is now a slow, floaty drift. Look around with the mouse while you float, then tumble back into the lounge.
- The waste ejector got a warning sign. You were warned.
Multiplayer
- Joining a friend who is on a different version now stops before loading and tells you who needs to update. Restarting Steam pulls the latest version.
- The Join Game window shows "Update needed" next to friends on a different version.
Fixes and polish
- Your character no longer goes invisible in third person after starting a new day.
- Name tags stay steady above fast-moving players.
- Characters sit naturally in the ship's seats.
- You can no longer walk out through the drive-thru window.
- Shifts get a little busier.
- Fresh colors for Nebula and the jars.
- Fixed guests getting kicked from a friend's game when their Steam connection hiccuped for a moment or when they rejoined. If your game connection is still alive, you now stay in the session.
- Guests now see the same tobacco drawers unlocked as the host. No more orders for a flavor that looks locked on your screen.
- Upper floor tobacco labels now fit on their paper.
New
- Balaclava: a new head item in the shop. Wear it with any top and bottom.
- A blimp now cruises outside Ghalyan's. Find it through the telescope.
- Coals now ride in a stack, held by tongs.
- Trash bins finally have labels.
- A cleaner starry sky, and the trash bag now glows on its way out into space.
