About the Game
You are a blacksmith with no past in the cruel lands where feudalism reigns.
In this dark land where morality is dictated by the cold steel, the weapons you forge will determine not only your fate but also the destiny of others.
In this adventure, which begins in a ruined shop with no prior knowledge, you will encounter interesting people and witness their compelling stories. As you master your craft, you will gradually improve and spread your reputation across the world through the weapons you forge.
Medieval Blacksmith is a blacksmithing game set in a fantasy land. In this game, you can design and produce 17 different types of weapons, ranging from daggers to short swords, and from two-handed swords to spears.
WEAPONS WRITE FATES
Some customers visit your shop merely to browse the weapons on the shelves, while others come with specific requests for custom-made weapons.
Each of these special customers has a unique purpose and a story. As a blacksmith, you can observe their stories unfold and shape their destinies through the weapons you create.
KNOWLEDGE IS POWER
In this game where knowledge and experience take center stage as mastery, you need to know not only your customers but also their enemies.
Will you craft an agile dagger or a long spear for a customer preparing to duel against a cavalryman?
Or, will you create a sword of gold or silver for a hunter venturing out to confront a "Teraset" in The White Forest?
The answers you provide to these questions will determine the fate of your customers. Medieval Blacksmith is a mastery game where not only your smithing skills matter but also your knowledge and experience.
MASTERY IS HIDDEN IN THE DETAILS
Factors such as the design of the weapons you produce, the types of ore and wood you use, and the center of gravity of your weapon all deeply affect its cutting, penetration, and weight properties. To craft a quality weapon, you must mix the alloys in the right proportions, produce all the parts properly, and demonstrate your mastery to the fullest.
DESICIONS AND CONSEQUENCES
In this adventure, you are not only a part of the blacksmith shop but also an integral member of the town. Will you choose to help or stand against the power centers, each with a different plan? Numerous adventures and stories await you in Medieval Blacksmith...

Official update history
Greetings blacksmiths,
With this hotfix, we have addressed several minor and major issues in the game and have also enabled the Cloud Save feature.
First, we discovered that when the "Picky Customers" mode was active, customers from the Rogue, Nomad, and Beast Hunter professions had slightly higher standards than stated in the in-game book. As a result, even properly crafted weapons were sometimes rejected by these customer classes. This issue has been fixed.
Additionally, while combining weapons at the assembly desk, the text remained white (indicating that merging could continue) even when the merge rate had reached 100%. This floating-point error has also been resolved with this update.
Thanks to our player ChewieRolo for reporting these two issues and helping us fix them!
We have activated the Cloud Save feature with this update. You can now continue your saves from the same account across multiple devices. We also fixed several critical issues in the save system. These issues may have been related to crashes reported by some players, including those using high-end devices. We will continue to monitor this issue in the coming days based on your feedback to confirm whether it has been fully resolved.
In addition, we have added a revised Traditional Chinese translation, edited from the previous version by our player 花哥, as an alternative language option in the game. We thank them for their contribution.

In this hotfix, the giant monster image that we generated with AI and received a warning for copyright infringement has been replaced with a new one.
We sincerely thank our followers who reported this issue to us and helped us identify it. Ensuring that AI-generated images used do not infringe on any copyrights is important to us, so in the coming days we will be examining in-game images in much greater detail.
We apologize for the issue and wish you good gaming!

We’re excited to announce that Medieval Blacksmith has officially left Early Access and is now in full release!
It’s been almost a year since we launched the very first version of the game. During this time, we’ve met many talented blacksmiths. With your ideas burning bright like a forge, your feedback blowing like bellows, your bug reports sharpening the experience like grindstones, and your powerful critiques striking like hammers — you’ve all contributed to crafting this game step by step. We’re deeply grateful for the inspiration, support, and feedback you’ve given us along the way!
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44895334/648b25d0b5936faca9dadad10ba1685c1747f0d4.png
To be honest, our initial plan was to create a shorter experience — maybe 7–8 hours. But thanks to your feedback, the world of the game gradually expanded, the systems became deeper, and eventually, Medieval Blacksmith became something that makes us truly happy — and honestly, it still surprises us how far it's come. We know that without the support, guidance, and inspiration from our players on both our Discord channel and Steam, we wouldn’t have been able to complete this journey. We sincerely thank you once again for all the support you've given us.

While this is our full release, we don’t see it as the end. Medieval Blacksmith will continue to evolve — just at a slower, more balanced pace. We’re still open to feedback and we’ll continue listening closely.
If you have ideas, feature suggestions, or run into any issues, feel free to reach out. We built this game together — and we can keep shaping it, together.
And Finally…

To everyone who’s been a part of this journey — thank you once again. Medieval Blacksmith isn’t just a game to us; it’s a living experience, shaped by its community.
The iron is still hot — and we’re not done hammering.
Until the next hammer falls,

Greetings, Blacksmiths!
In this hotfix, we've addressed some issues within the game and made improvements to its difficulty.
Skill Tree Adjustments
As you know, we introduced the skill tree in the 1.5.0 update. However, based on the feedback we've received from our players, we've decided to make some critical skills much more accessible. Specifically, the reputation required to unlock the Auto Hammering and Molten Heart (Boiling Icon) skills has been reduced from 200 to 75. This means you'll be able to unlock these skills quickly by completing the first quest and crafting a couple of weapons.
Mining
To provide a faster mining experience, we've reverted the base pickaxe swing speed to match the pre-1.5.0 versions. With the new skill tree abilities, you can now increase this speed even beyond what it was in earlier versions.
Customers
We’ve also fixed an issue with customer visit frequencies. In versions prior to 1.5.0, customers visited the shop every 60 to 120 seconds, but in the current version, this was mistakenly adjusted to 100 to 200 seconds. With skills, you can now reduce this interval to 50 to 100 seconds for a smoother gameplay experience.
Improvements / Balance Changes
• Default pickaxe swing speed has been increased.
• Fixed an issue with customer visit frequency.
We've also adjusted the number of ores slaves can mine per day at level 100:
• Iron: 22
• Copper: 15
• Cila Khanka: 12
• Silver: 7
• Gold: 4
• Additionally, mining silver and gold rocks has been made 15% easier for players. (This will improve significantly with skills!)
• A button has been added to the Weapon Preview Window to hide the UI for a clearer view.
Bug Fixes
• Resolved UI scaling issues on widescreen displays.
• Fixed a bug in the Save Window where the gameplay time counter would break after exceeding 24 hours.
Thank You!
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all players who have shared their valuable feedback and thoughts about Medieval Blacksmith. If you’d like to share your own feedback, feel free to reach out to us through our official Discord channel or via Steam!

Today, we have two exciting announcements for you. First, we're thrilled to share that the demo for Medieval Blacksmith will be available soon! This demo will let you explore the core features of the game and step into the world of the blacksmith. Mark your calendars—on January 1, 2025, the demo will be live!
Update 1.5.0
Along with this exciting news, we’re also bringing you the details of our latest update! We’d like to take a moment to thank all our players for their invaluable feedback and bug reports. Your support means the world to us!
New Features
Skill Tree:
One of the most requested features by our players was a skill tree and a way we could utilize the professional reputation you’ve earned.
So we’ve combined these elements and introduced a brand-new skill tree system!
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44895334/8ec75babb41a893966d88372aeed99183362d22f.png
Now, the reputation you earn through crafting weapons, completing quests, and interacting in dialogues can be used to enhance your abilities.
With this skill tree, attributes like hammering and sharpening speed can be improved significantly compared to previous versions. Some features that were previously default have also been moved to the skill tree—not to nerf them, but to provide a more satisfying sense of progression. However, if you find this situation boring, please let us know.
New Starting Tutorial:
{STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/44895334/d2d3e48bedeb2336fd5d45270d90970830cec504.png
We’ve added a small quest to guide you through crafting your first weapon after opening your blacksmith shop. This serves as a mini-tutorial to help new players get started.
