About the Game
In Memoirium, everything is but sand and stars.
DREAM, DEFY, DECORATE

The realm of dreams throws all reason to the wayside. In one moment, you will find yourself in a simple 21st-century school, and in the next, your eyes will fall upon a castle held together by wax.

Equipment can alter abilities and the entities you can encounter. One armor set may influence how long negative statuses last, while a mask can change how enemies approach you in combat. All items serve a purpose.

Items replenish at certain points in your journey instead of disappearing when consumed, so put them to good use. Collect the same item multiple times to upgrade it, but be warned: even equipment found in the realm of dreams has its limits.

There also appears to be a mysterious location that you have control of in the dream world. Decorate this area of quiet reflection using mementos found throughout your journey across the realm of dreams.

- Fixed speed of arcing projectiles to no longer be weighed down by the power of speed
- Adjusted projectile location for throwing spear and bow to make them more reliable

Hotfix v1.0.82826
Graphics optimizations
vastly reduced triangle counts for most objects
Added one-time free respec at cat shop
Fixed NPC quest sometimes not restarting when choosing a specific NG+ path
Will try to start looking into adding more accessibility settings in the future. Thank you all.
- Updated shader caching; hopefully this fixes the fatal error crash.
- Fixed Keepsake-Lullaby Slots not updating right away when the limit is increased.
I’ve perhaps been doing too many hotfixes, so this should be the last one (famous last words) for the week unless something quite egregious is broken. I wanted to get this out for those trying to 100%, and those at very high levels because I accidentally set a cap for exp that returns when respeccing.
- Fixed Find All Masks Achievement
- Fixed respec for higher levels (bug was capping the lvl return at 312)
- Minor performance improvement
- Improved final zone pathing
- Resetting to Default Input Keys should no longer have issues
- Minor visual changes to inventory screen.
- Camera sens should now remain consistent across different fps (your preferred sensitivity may change)
- Camera usage between gamepad and mouse should now be consistent
- Fixed Sandgrain passive
- Adjusted traces during grabs/stress breaks to avoid clipping
- Added X-axis setting
- Fixed Valor attack interacting outside of charge attacks (thanks to Kace Crimson over on Discord for finding this one)
I am aware of the memory problem. It can slow down and even crash after playing for several hours straight. It will need a restart to fix it. I will do my best to fix it this week. Thank you all.
Patch notes v1.0.81526
Fixed Dismal Glass and Tuning usage description
Fixed npc spawn bug
Klaws weapon final primary attack should hit more consistently
Fixed Drop Keepsakes
Removed pixel edge on sewer drop
Will work on further optimizations that should land next week.
Turns out the last update wasn't the last before release.
In this patch .v1.0.81226, the Main Menu no longer pauses the game. This hopefully fixes the issues for some people who couldn't start the game properly.
Please report if you have any issues.
Thank you to everyone who has played the demo so far, and I really appreciate those who have left reviews on the Steam Page and Community discussion. I am making this post to let people know that I am paying attention. I have read the feedback and watched videos of people going through the demo.
This demo update is to address the most common feedback of poor UI. It is among my weakest skills, so I will continue to improve on it as the game evolves.
In terms of updates:
Buttons now have borders
Some buttons will have tooltips
Updated navigation between some menus
Cursor won't immediately hide in fear when a controller is detected
Resized inventory items to make them fit better
Various changes to the setting screens. Notably, the input settings are larger and more legible, but you will now have to scroll through them.
Again, I want to thank everyone for trying my demo of the thousands of demos at Next Fest.
