MOLE is a psychological horror experience with tactile simulation elements about madness, faith, and the depths we choose to dig. You are the Navigator aboard a deep-bore vessel, a colossal drilling machine. But the crew is gone. The vessel is silent. And the Signal won’t stop calling.

MOLE - Patch 1.7
Thank you to everyone who has been playing MOLE and taking the time to report issues. This update focuses on stability, gameplay polish, visuals, audio, animations, and a large number of bug fixes. Why is it called 1.7 when the last patch was called 1.1.5? That nobody really knows.
Gameplay & Progression
Fixed an issue where the fire extinguisher could stop working after reloading a save.
Fixed an issue where it was possible to pick up items while holding the fire extinguisher.
Fixed an issue where the inventory could become locked after using a cassette.
Fixed an issue where the Vostok cassette could be picked up from the main menu.
Fixed an issue where the final course correction sequence could repeat indefinitely.
Fixed an issue where players could become trapped inside the fuse box.
Fixed an issue where players could become stuck crouching during the ending.
Fixed an issue where players could smoke while carrying a torpedo (probably not the safest idea).
Fixed an issue that could grant an extra fuse after repairing the engine.
Fixed an issue allowing the monster to push the player outside the map.
Fixed an issue where the monster could become stuck in the Twister Room door during the third chase.
Reduced the distance at which the Invisible Kid becomes visible.
UI & Controls
Fixed an issue where the targeting reticle could appear in the main menu.
Fixed invisible UI outlines appearing on screen.
Fixed the back button becoming unavailable after resuming the game.
Updated several interaction prompts for improved clarity.
Fixed an issue where the cockpit lever appeared interactable when it wasn't.
Fixed UI elements that failed to rotate correctly.
Fixed an issue preventing the S key from being rebound.
Fixed the throttle indicator lamp displaying incorrect information.
Fixed the throttle lamp failing to update correctly.
Fixed ending text appearing earlier than intended.
Visuals
Corrected materials on various objects.
Fixed post-processing issues during the Phone Booth sequence.
Fixed lighting issues in the Engine Room.
Fixed camera shake becoming permanently active during the timed drilling sequence.
Fixed a screen shake effect that could persist indefinitely.
Audio
Fixed issues affecting autopilot and Continue Cassette audio.
Fixed multiple Laboratory Radio audio issues.
Fixed physics objects repeatedly triggering audio.
Fixed manual piloting audio glitches.
Improved footstep audio balance in several quieter chapters.
Fixed hospital door audio.
Fixed an issue where the announcer system could play when it shouldn't.
Animation
Fixed the bunny's animation looping incorrectly.
Updated the weak door shoulder-bash animation.
Updated the Leap of Faith animation in the Burning Apartments chapter.
Updated the monster spawn animation in the Ambush chapter.
Fixed floating arms that could appear during monster attacks.
Fixed a minor animation issue during the Phone Booth sequence.
Stability
Fixed a crash caused by uncapped frame rates. ..and dozens of other minor fixes and improvements.

This hotfix focuses on resolving issues reported by the community and polishing several areas of the game experience.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where keybindings for the Forward key were not applying correctly after reaching the M-12 vessel.
Fixed an issue where some localization entries could disappear.
Fixed a clipping animation during the elevator attack sequence in the Ambush chapter.
Fixed an issue where the cassette panel closing sound could incorrectly play when toggling the dorm floor light switch.
Fixed the dorm speaker break event in Package 18.
Fixed issue where the last phone call could be skipped by holding the phone when you get the call.
Fixed bug where the apartment key would fail to appear
Gameplay & Level Design
Added camera shake at the start of the Other Ship crash sequence for improved impact.
Added a pickup sound effect for Missiles.
Added a new cutscene animation for the first cassette in Package 32. The sequence now ends with the Developer Credits visible.
Animation and audio Improvements
Adjusted fade timing for the Dream 2 music sequence to improve transitions.
The looping cut issue is still under investigation and will be addressed in a future update.
Added new animations.
Localization & Text
Fixed additional missing translations across supported languages.

This is the first hot patch after 2 days of public feedback. We aim to resolve all game breaking bugs as soon as we possibly can.
Bug Fixes
-Fixed an issue where the "Back Tutorial" event in Chapter 1 could get stuck.
-Fixed an issue where removing the cassette while the ping arm was operating could permanently lock the cassette slot.
-Fixed an issue where the Engineer cassette could fail to appear when loading chapter 3.
-Fixed an issue where the VOSTOK cassette might not be added to the inventory in chapter 3.
-Fixed an issue that could render the player unable to move after level transitions
-Fixed an issue where unsupported fullscreen resolutions could break UI alignment and subtitles
