About the Game
The CRIMENET network offers a huge range of dynamic contracts, and players are free to choose anything from small-time convenience store hits or kidnappings, to big league cyber-crime or emptying out major bank vaults for that epic PAYDAY. While in DC, why not participate in the local community, and run a few political errands?
Up to four friends co-operate on the hits, and as the crew progresses the jobs become bigger, better and more rewarding. Along with earning more money and becoming a legendary criminal comes a character customization and crafting system that lets crews build and customize their own guns and gear.

- More Masks than Ever – PAYDAY 2 features a completely new mask system, giving players the ability to craft their own unique mask with a pattern and color of their choice, resulting in millions of different combinations.
- Weapons and Modifications – A brand new arsenal for the serious heister, covering everything from sniper and assault rifles to compact PDWs and SMGs. Once you've settled for a favorite, you can modify it with optics, suppressors, fore grips, reticles, barrels, frames, stocks and more, all of which will affect the performance of your weapon. There are also purely aesthetic enhancements - why not go for the drug lord look with polished walnut grips for your nine?
- Play It Your Way – Each job allows for multiple approaches, such as slow and stealthy ambushes or running in guns blazing. Hit the target any way you want, each approach will provide a different experience.

The update also includes fixes and adjustments to items from the previously released Espionage Weapon Pack. We have gotten a lot of feedback and are happy that you liked our offerings. Couple of updates ago, we removed an oversight that allowed you to jump the fence and be able to complete most the heist without much of a challenge. A lot of players weren't happy with this change and while we don't want to bring the exploit back, we tried to make the existing stealth a bit less unfair as a compromise.
Airport (Day 1)
Alerted gangsters no longer cause the heist to go loud automatically, instead it is triggered by loud gunfire
Added a security room spawn
Added a 10% stealth completion bonus
Added bodybags asset
Added glow to some existing lights

Fixed navigation issues with the large gates when they are shot open

Cameras no longer spawn as titan variants on higher difficulties

Saw damage used to have a hidden 4 times damage multiplier to locks, which made the damage display on the UI misleading. With this change the actual damage of the weapon is clearer, while also making it more usable against enemies
Reworked ammo consumption from a random range of 5-15 per hit to a flat 5 per hit
Reduced magazine capacity from 150 to 100
While seemingly a nerf, with the ammo consuption change the effective ammo capacity is higher now then it was previously
Decreased the intensity of screen shake and visual recoil when using a saw
Visual recoil is only applied now when the saw hits a surface
Increased the damage bonus for the "Sharp Blade" weapon mod from 3 to 12
Reduced the alert radius of the “Silent Motor” weapon mod from 8.5m to 2m
Reworked the “Fast Motor” weapon mod to double the rate of fire to 800 instead of giving 3 damage

Weapons with burst fire modes benefit from a scaling recoil reduction for every bullet being fired in a burst. Only the final bullet will have full recoil kick.

Mask Customization Overhaul
Welcome to the future of mask making!
We put some time overhauling the mask customization system from the original 2013 "one material, two colors" into something more modern and flexible- The new system will now utilize your entire roster of unique materials as colors!

Fixed borderless windowed mode not using the configured desktop resolution as its maximum value
