Hi, Smallfolk!
We just launched a new hotfix that addresses a couple user reported issues from our Wyrdweaver update. Here's the list of fixes:
Stair building parts can now be scaled.
Wyrdweaver orb can now be equipped from hotbar.
Fixed a potential issue with saving in multiplayer.
Fixed some level issues.
Fixed an issue where some crystallized creatures would cause navigation problems.
A small hotfix is live for Smalland.
This update focuses on stability and edge cases found during seasonal play.
What’s fixed:
Christmas quest present dialogue now accounts for a full inventory.
Santa now loads in a more stable state to ensure proper behavior.
Bleeding and Puncture no longer stack while already active on a target.

A new hotfix is now live for Smalland: Survive the Wilds! This update focuses on stability improvements, save file fixes, and several bug resolutions.
Patch Notes:
Fixed localizations
Prevented ghosts from spawning during world or incubation events
Creatures will no longer aggro incorporeal ghosts
Fixed an issue where the save system would save to a character name file rather than the loaded save file
Fixed collision on Granger’s door
Fixed ghost incorporeal text remaining after becoming corporeal

Fixed Simple Bandage providing no healing
Fixed upper Tree Encampments not correctly re-establishing player claim on load
Fixed an issue where clients who mount a creature mid-attack might end up unable to dismount
Fixed an issue where late-game characters might not have access to unlocks or codex entries when joining a server

Today’s hotfix adds a number of requested quality-of-life features, HUD updates, and system improvements across the game, alongside bug fixes and balance tweaks.
Hotfix Notes
HUD & Interface
Added mana cost and ammo count display on HUD.
Added follow state and aggression indicators for party on HUD.
Character screen now shows an indicator for unspent attribute points.
Gameplay & Systems
Added game settings templates/difficulties.
Party member follow state now also toggleable from the Companions menu.
Holding interact/loot now also extracts resources from nodes.
Melee attacks now take player pitch into account.
Harvesting tools now deal an additional random damage.
Mana potions now describe the amount of mana restored.
Increased overall building structural support by 20%.
Added construction plane lock option for easier placement of building parts.
Added a global notification when a player tries to sleep.
Ladybugs now drop Chitin.
Wood stable now requires wood instead of bark.
Animation & AI
Revised gliding and grappling animations.
Added slight delay to out-of-stamina gliding behavior.
Improved flying AI behavior in Incubator events.
Reworked creature audio vocalizations to repeat less often.
Fixes & Stability
Fixed honey crumble nodes in the Oak Forest.
Fixed audio issue in caverns on PS5.
Fixed issue with transparent surfaces appearing abnormally bright.
Fixed issue where locally hosted servers would not be name-searchable.
When spawning in a tree encampment (start or respawn), party members now spawn on the platform and remain until called.

We’ve deployed a new hotfix focusing on Underlands polish, audio balance, and a few stability fixes.
Hotfix Notes
Underlands level improvements and visibility fixes.
Reduced creature vocalization frequency.
Reduced insect wing volume.
Fixed player character vocalization occasionally disappearing after death.
Fixed some duplicated resources in the Underlands.
Increased crystal drop chance from crystal creatures.
Visual and material improvements.
Fixed precipitation occasionally showing in the Underlands.
Fixed WilloWisp showing twice.
Respawning in a tree encampment bed now moves creature followers to the encampment totem (recall them using the Follow command in quick actions).

We’ve released another hotfix focused on stability, bug fixes, and quality-of-life improvements across the Overlands, Caverns, and Underlands.
Hotfix Notes
Fixed an issue that could cause lighting to fail in the Overlands.
Chairs and beds are now usable again.
Cavern mushrooms now have proper collision.
Projectile spells should now consistently deal damage as a client.
Crystal walls that have been opened now appear open for clients from farther away.
Fixed a crash related to Mantis armor when hit by an enemy.
Fixed some creature charge attacks not dealing any damage.
Fixed some duplicate resource node entries in the Underlands.
Fixed some creature loot table entries.

We’ve just deployed a new hotfix focused on polishing up the desert caverns, fixing visual issues, and improving multiplayer stability.
Hotfix Notes
Fixed an issue where the desert cavern could disappear while inside of it.
Fixed entrances to the desert cavern showing as holes in the world.
Fixed an issue where resources in the caverns could disappear for clients.
Adjusted creature balancing.
Fixed dying in the caverns causing a lighting revert for a few seconds.
Fixed resonator firing VFX showing twice for clients.
Added more environmental dressing to the caverns.
Fixed desert/orange chamber appearing invisible from the main tree chamber.
Improvements on cavern level streaming to help reduce multiplayer co-op crashes.
If crashes still occur, please share as much detail as possible (location in the game, what you were doing, etc.) so we can investigate further.
We are still tracking a few known issues, and hope to have another hot fix available to address these as soon as possible. Here is a list of what we are investigating.

Lighting in the overlands at night or in cloudy weather.
Chairs and beds are currently not usable.
Some mushrooms in the caverns lack collision.
Spellcasting may not always deal damage for clients.
Previously opened crystal walls may appear blocked until you approach them.

Hi, Smallfolk! We have released another hotfix to address a few lingering issues that have been reported since our last update. Here’s a look at what’s included in today’s patch:
Fixed an issue where chat would soft-lock the game when a player closed it.
Fixed a lot of issues that caused stuttering.
Armor stand gamepad fixes.
The grappling hook will no longer cancel gliding when hitting non-grappleable surfaces.
Fixed Faction tiers being available even when greyed out.
Wasp Queen now drops one head per player.
It is now harder to die from accidentally air-dashing into something.
Fixed an issue where air dash could lead to an unintended surge.
Thanks to all the players who have left feedback on the latest update! We will continue to improve the game as we work towards our next update.

A hotfix has just been deployed to address the bug introduced in our most recent patch where tamed pets not in your active party could become aggressive and damage your bases.
🛠 Fixes included in this hotfix:
Fixed an issue where tamed creatures not in a party could attack owner or other players unprovoked
Wings improvements:
Initial glide direction now follows camera instead of velocity,
All wings can now come to a near-halt by holding backwards,,
Gliding descent move is now steeper and allows stamina recovery,,
Icarus and Tyrant's wings have been made faster, while Simple Wings have been made slower,,
Fixed a soft lock on gamepad when entering the Armor Stand screen
WilloWisp no longer shows on helmets equipped on the Armor Stand
Fixed some button mapping issues
Fixed LB having no functionality on XB controller

- Crossplay option is now available for user-created servers.
- Fixed an issue where some quests would not be marked as complete on existing characters.
