About the Game

Stay Close is an experimental indie game with unseen and unique gameplay. The story centers on an unfortunate couple who stumble upon a mysterious town and struggle to find their way out. There are two alternatives to the story depending if single player or co-op mode is played.
What Would You Do In their Situation?
Players will have the opportunity to:
- 1. Survive against unsettling creatures in a rough environment.
- 2. Explore the story with an interesting character who will test your thinking abilities and judge if you're worthy of proceeding forward.
- 3. Protecting your friend and trying to survive in co-op mode.

That was close, we've made it on time!
All the work on Stay Close and Testing were just finalized minutes ago! That wouldn't be possible without the contribution of our new programmer who managed to finish all the tasks!
Stay Close is much more optimized now! Loads 2-3 times faster than before, as well as lot of minor bugs were eliminated. Previously stated in the announcement before there was a lot of changes, including new A.I and level design.
The patch is a big deal, because provides us a really good foundation to build and implement more to the game without worrying the issues will stack.
Hope you'll enjoy it! I can't wait to stalk new videos on YouTube and Twitch!
Next patch will include new animations, sounds and maybe expanded level design.

- Added a connection status window when connecting to a game
- Fixed a bug where the client could get stuck on the loading screen if the connection fails
- Fixed a bug where the input gets broken when opening the ingame menu while a note is on screen
- Fixed the possibilty of messages getting stuck on screen ("It's not wise to go further", etc.)
- Fixed the field of view option, working now. (40 to 120, 80-90 recommended)
- Fixed the chat window is stuck on the screen if the player dies while chatting
- Changed the flashlight to turn off when starting a dialog with cyrus and when reading a note
