About the Game
Sunkenland is an exciting post-apocalyptic survival and exploration game set in the near future when water covered most of the Earth. Explore sunken cities, scavenge resources and valuable technologies, build your base, trade, fight and survive.
Features
Diving
Explore the sunken skyscrapers, nuclear powerplants and subway tunnel. Gather resources, seek out lost technologies, and collect rare pre-apocalypse items. Build diving devices to assist your underwater journey. And be wary of the unknown danger awaiting you in the depths of this planet.
Base Building
Build your base anywhere you want. Will it be a water stronghold, an abandoned ship base or an island penthouse? You need it to keep yourself refreshed, craft items, farm, store items, and stay protected. With the modular building system, you can create your ideal enclave and stylize it with decorations found throughout your journey.
Base Defense
Defend your base against clans of pirates and mutants. Build high walls, barbed wire, traps, surveillance system, and artillery to keep the enemies out of your territory!
Crafting
Build everything you need, tools, weapons, a jetski, and even a helicopter. You will need different workstations and blueprints in order to craft complex items.
Survival
Gather food, hunt sharks, grow plants, and manage supplies. Make your base sustainable as resources are scarce in Sunkenland.
Vehicles
Build and upgrade many types of vehicles including sailboat, jetski and gyrocopters. They will make your exploration much more convenient.
Fighting
Fight mutants and pirates. Raid enemy atolls and steal their resources. Use melee weapons, firearms and explosives. Fight on ocean and land. Operate mounted heavy weapons to destroy enemy boats.
Trading
Trade with friendly atolls for supplies, weapons, armor and rare items. There is no universal currency, only item for item.
Co-op
Cooperate with friends and survive this oceanic apocalypse as a group. Build bases, dive, explore and fight pirates together!

New Building Categories: Vases, Flowerbeds, and Railings
To bring more life to your base, we are introducing vases, flowerbeds, and railings.
- Vases: Hold a single flower.
- Semi-circular flowerbeds: Hold two flowers.
- Round and rectangular flowerbeds: Hold four flowers.
- You can acquire the vases and flowerbeds blueprints from the furniture merchant at the trading station. They are crafted using materials unlocked through new research at the Tier 4 Research Table.

More flower types will be added in future updates, with 30+ varieties planned for the game. All flowers will spawn randomly on the islands, requiring players to explore and collect them (e.g., small stone islands, warehouses, etc.).

Bug Fixes:
- Fixed the bug causing day/night irregularities and extremely short daylight hours.
- Fixed a bug where shooting enemies caused no damage.
- Fixed an issue preventing the Furniture Merchant from selling new blueprints.
- Improved save file stability.
- Reduced enemy shooting accuracy while moving and shooting.
- Fixed an issue where servers could not effectively ban players.
- Fixed errors occur when dismantling buildings in multiplayer mode.
- Resolved certain blueprints that did not appear in the blueprint menu.

- Fixed the issue where dragged item icons might not disappear and stay on the screen.
- Fixed the issue where the cooldown time of the delegate merchant was not saved and read correctly.
- Fixed the issue where the detailed location information in the UI Map would overlap.
- Fixed the issue where sometimes remote enemies would shoot from outside of the visible area instead of coming near the base.
- Fixed the issue where the heavy machine gun did not consume ammunition.
- Fixed an issue where AI would pass through walls or defensive structures and enter the player’s base.
- Fixed the issue where, after playing for a long time, remote attacks could not hit enemies.

- Fixed an issue where container-type structures could not be opened, or items would be fully withdrawn immediately upon opening.
- Recyclers can now be used normally.

- Fixed an issue where spotlights could not be built correctly.
- Fixed an issue where night vision effects remained active even after removing the night vision device.
- Fixed an issue where heavy machine guns did not consume ammunition when firing.
Bug Fixes:
- Issue with hitting enemies: We identified problems causing players to be unable to shoot enemies while melee attacks still worked. This was mainly due to memory overflow. We will continue to monitor this issue, and if survivors still encounter it after updating, please provide your save files and hardware configuration to the developers in the Steam discussion forum.
- Fixed lag issues when opening the UI.
- Fixed an abnormal number of enemies at certain combat locations.
- Fixed animation issues at refueling stations.
- Fixed issues with the power system connections and incorrect prompts. Turning off the power hub or generator now correctly shuts down the entire system, and prompts are accurate.
- Fixed an issue with the fish pond not properly saving generated fish after loading a save.
- Fixed an issue where certain items were invisible but could still be picked up.
- Fixed enemies floating mid-air.
- Fixed resources appearing inside inaccessible buildings.
- The doors of the Great Water Fortress can now open in both directions, preventing players from getting stuck.
- Fixed an issue with weapon accessory crates being opened infinitely under certain conditions.
- Fixed issues with weapon attachments placed on display boards.
- Corrected some German language errors.
- Fixed an issue preventing the construction of spotlights after research.
- Fixed incorrect scaling of decorative discs.

- Fixed random respawn after death only occurring near the base.
Feedback on wind and solar power: Suggestions for wind and solar energy have been noted, and corresponding designs will be developed in future versions.
Found issues in storage code structure that could cause buildings/items to disappear. If this problem persists after the update, please report it with your save files and hardware configuration.

Halloween Fun & the new feature:

Due to a major system overhaul, saves from version 0.2.X will not be compatible with this update. If you’d like to continue with an existing save from version 0.2.X, you can access it by switching to the “olderversion” branch:
1. Right-click the game in your library.
2. Select Properties.
3. Go to the Beta tab and choose olderversion.

Island Overhaul:

New Factions:
- Oceanic Republic: A group of survivors who have claimed a few islands. They are not well-equipped, using whatever weapons they can find, though some have firearms.
- Atomic Clan: A highly skilled bandit group that primarily occupies the nuclear-polluted power plant area. They are well-armed with machine guns and sniper rifles, making them extremely dangerous.

- We've revamped some of the old enemies and introduced a variety of new ones, each with a look that reflects their faction's background, making each group visually unique. For example, the Atomic Clan wears radiation-protective gear, while the Warhead Clan is outfitted in full military gear.
Improved Enemy AI:
- AI now uses advanced tactics: flanking, taking cover, repositioning, using grenades, and charging with melee.
- Enemy AI is more aggressive and responsive compared to previous versions, posing a real combat challenge to players.
Combat Enhancements:
- Larger, complex islands require extended engagements, encouraging players to carefully plan their assault and make strategic decisions on the fly.
- Preparation is key—ensure you have enough supplies like food, water, ammo, medicine, and appropriate weapons for the environment. Engaging in extended fights without proper planning can leave you vulnerable and unprepared.

New Traders:
- Added gun dealer, furniture dealer, and a contractor (WIP). Each trader offers unique items and services, expanding the trading options and giving players more choices in how they obtain resources.

Gun Crafting Overhaul:
