About the Game
The Baby In Yellow is a Lovecraftian comedy horror game where you must look after a suspicious baby and survive his attempts to take control.
Over the course of 11 chapters this creepy bundle of madness must be well-fed, clean and most importantly, kept entertained.

Originally created in 48 hours for a game jam and inspired by the book of short stories 'The King in Yellow' by Robert Chambers, The Baby in Yellow has been downloaded over 140 million times on mobile and videos of its gameplay have gained millions of views on social media.

Beta Branch
The seasonal content will be removed in January, but will continue to be available on the christmas_2025 beta branch, which you can switch to via the game's properties menu in your Steam library.

Bug Fixes
It wouldn't be Halloween without some creepy crawlies...Here is a list of bugs we've squashed in this update
- Fixed issues with player being able to fall off ledges
- Added recovery for player and items falling out of bounds
- Improved collision detection for the inflatable hammer
- Improved handling for toys that get sucked up pneumatic tubes
- Fixed several respawn bugs around monster chases
- Fixed projectiles from toy guns not correctly sticking to the ceiling in the Exit level
- Beebee outfit appears correctly in game when set from the main menu
- Smooth fade out of TV audio at end of Nights 1 & 2
- Fixed issues with voice audio playing during pause

A Curious Christmas is now over!
However, as so many of you loved our Christmas update this year, we thought we'd keep the build available!
You can switch to the "christmas_2023" beta branch by:
- Right clicking on The Baby in Yellow in your Steam Library
- Left Click Properties
- Left Click Betas
- In the Beta Participation drop down select "christmas_2023"
Note:
- This branch will not be updated, so if you want to see any new content you will need to swap back to “none” in the Beta Participation drop down to access the normal version of the game.
- To avoid save game compatibility issues in the future the christmas_2023 build will use it's own save file.

Hello Everyone!
We hope you have been enjoying the summer holidays.
Our first patch includes a handful of bug fixes and some small quality of life features.
Fixed:
- Players can no longer carry the core throughout the Final Chase
- Newt can no longer be held during the Final Cutscene
- Newt recovers to a safe location once Players complete the Library Puzzle
- Non-critical objects are properly cleaned up if thrown off the edge of the Garden
- Changed Console Screen Minigame start prompt text from "Tap" to "Click" for PC
- Continuity issues with Checkpoint Saves
- Regression issues with Pre-Black Cat Content
- Localization issues with the "World Door" Signage
Added:
- Players can now restore the Baby's Default Outfit after equipping the Black Cat Outfit
- The Gyrosphere walkway now extends upon Players entering the balcony holding the core
- Newt's “No” head shake reaction when offered an unwanted item is now rate limited
