Enter the shadows in this introduction to Thick as Thieves. In the shadow-draped streets of Kilcairn, fortune favours the bold. As a member of the Thieves' Guild, you'll undertake daring heists to claim precious heirlooms and uncover arcane secrets hidden within this alternate-history 1910s Scottish city, where magic and early technology have begun to collide.
Whether working alone or playing online co-op, only the most cunning will seize their fortune in Thick as Thieves!
MASTER THE ART OF STEALTH
Play as one of two skilled thieves, each with their own unique talents and abilities and use observation and improvisation to pull off daring heists. Just make sure to stay hidden in the shadows.
BECOME A MASTER THIEF
No heist ever plays out the same way twice in Thick as Thieves. Whether playing solo or co-op in short play sessions, as you increase the difficulty from Novice to Master Thief, security layouts and guard configurations shift, creating dozens of distinct and highly replayable experiences. Every mission is an opportunity, and every opportunity can be approached creatively.
THE RIGHT TOOLS FOR THE JOB
Use all of your gadgets and abilities to gain your spoils. When things get complicated, use Slithersap to short-circuit security lights, toss a Smoke Bomb to break line of sight, or send out the Pickpocket Fairy to trigger switches from a distance. Whether you use stealth, distraction or subterfuge, all the tools are at your disposal.
WELCOME TO KILCAIRN
As a newly minted member of the Thieves’ Guild seeking to prove your talents, take on one of 3 Mission-types and 16 Contracts across a 4-hour campaign that will take you to two of Kilcairn’s well-guarded landmarks Plot your way through the streets and across rooftops to seize your fortune.

● This introductory taste offers Two Thieves (The SPIDER and the CHAMELEON), two dynamic and highly replayable maps, 16 Contracts and 6 unique pieces of gear.

Hey Thieves!
We saw your reports about the keybinds feature having a few key holes (haha, get it?) in it when we patched it in yesterday. We’re releasing a small patch to address those including the changes below:
Changelist
Fixed ladder climbing to use rebound key inputs
Fixed an issue that prevented the lockpick minigame from using the rebound interact key
Added glyphs for more mouse keybinds
Mouse sensitivity will apply to ladder climbing
Known Issues
If the mouse in question has more than 2 side-buttons, bound side buttons greater than 2 will use text instead of glyphs.
Please note that we’re prioritizing keybinding for gameplay at the moment; most UI navigation will not change. We are evaluating that feature for future patches, alongside all the other stuff we are reviewing. Thanks as always for your feedback, we hope to see you in Kilcairn soon!

Hey Thieves!
Since launch on Wednesday, we’ve been paying close attention to what you have been saying about Thick as Thieves - Jeff is reading every comment or thread that he can find - and we want to provide updates as soon as possible. We have picked up some of the most common concerns that we could handle quickly, and are releasing them to you right away.
It’s time for Update 1! In this update, we’ve added a Field of View slider as well as toggles for motion blur and reducing camera bounce. We converted the mouse and gamepad sensitivities to a slider, for more control over that setting. We also fixed an issue that should improve how the game looks on 4k monitors and large screens, and added an FPS limiter. Give these settings a whirl and let us know what you think!
Please note that alongside this update, we’ve improved error handling in the matchmaking system. You may need to restart the game to access online features.
We are still working on Update 2, where we plan to address keybinds and other things drawn from your feedback. We’re reading every review and tuning in to Discord, so please keep sharing your thoughts! Expect the next update within 2 weeks, and we will share more details as they develop.

Added a toggle to disable motion blur
Added a slider to allow moderate FOV adjustment
Added a toggle to reduce camera bounce
Added number labels to all slider widgets in settings
Updated mouse + gamepad sensitivity settings to a slider
After this change, please re-set mouse sensitivity
Added an FPS limiter
Removed resolution choice from Fullscreen, it will pull directly from your system resolution
Use Windowed mode to choose a specific resolution
