About the Game
Welcome to the Middle of “Nowhere”
You’ve arrived where the maps end and the wild, untamed frontier begins. Your mission is to build a thriving town from the ground up — a place that will attract settlers, traders, and fortune‑seekers. This land may look worthless… but give it time. Beneath the surface lie riches that could change your life forever.
Dig, Mine, Prosper
Explore deeper layers of the earth and gather the resources that will become the foundation of your growing empire:
coal, iron, copper, gold, and diamonds
crude oil hidden in deep underground deposits
metal smelting furnaces and oil extraction machines
Every resource brings you closer to a bigger town and greater opportunities.
Build the Town of Your Dreams
You start with a few planks and a tent, but soon you’ll be able to:
construct houses and attract new residents
expand your infrastructure
decorate and customize your own living space however you like
Your settlement can become a true oasis in the middle of the wasteland.
Upgrade Your Gear and Optimize Your Work
Progress requires investment. Buy better tools and explosives from traveling merchants. Improve your logistics:
crates and wheelbarrows for transporting materials
horses and wagons for hauling large loads
Hire workers so your town keeps growing even when you’re busy elsewhere.
You’re Not Alone Out Here
The Wild West isn’t just gold and oil — it’s danger too:
attacks from wild animals
bandits roaming the area
pistols and shotguns available for purchase to defend yourself and your townsfolk
Your settlement must be safe if it’s going to survive.
A Moment of Rest
After a long day of hard work, you can:
visit the saloon
play darts
shoot to the bottle
Even a sheriff needs a break.
From Dusty Outpost to Bustling Metropolis
Will you manage to transform this forgotten “Nowhere” into a thriving metropolis and rise from a small‑town sheriff to a wealthy governor?

A fresh batch of fixes and improvements just rolled into town. Version 1.2. brings deeper holes, quieter nights, and some more fixes.
Changes

- Fixed price signs at the gunsmith, the numbers finally display correctly.

Bug Fixes

Thanks for all your reports, videos, and messages, they help us shape every update.
Keep digging, keep breaking things, and we’ll keep fixing them.
Howdy Miners!
New version is here to make the West slightly less chaotic…
QoL
- Added an alert sound for wild animals, because surprise wildlife encounters were getting a bit too exciting.
- Full barrel sound added, barrels now make an entrance like they’re auditioning for a theater play.
- Governor now grumbles while walking, he already complained nonstop, so we just gave him a microphone.
Bug Fixes
- Numerous fixes to the barrel systems, barrels have agreed to behave.
- Fixed placing objects into wagons, wagons are no longer eating leaved goods
- Removed a softlock caused by upgrading the backpack too early, ambition is now officially supported.
- Updated weapon prices after prestige increases, fame changes everything, including price tags.
- Blocked starting minigames from horseback or while holding an object, multitasking has limits, even here.
- Moved minigame music to the Music channel, your ears will notice the difference.
- Fully loaded oil barrels now correctly contain oil after loading, shocking, we know.
- The ghost oil machine no longer complains about missing workers, ghosts operate independently.
- Minor issue with UI
Fixed Steam Achievements:
- Too Small for the Both of Us
- Freight Brickmaster
- Prospector’s Pride
- Frontier Craftsman
Thanks for all your reports. You’re the reason this dusty town keeps improving. See you in the mines, partner!
