Our four-legged friends need your help!
Animal Shelter Simulator 2 comes with more animals that need your help. You will need to provide them with a clean, safe environment, as well as food and water and, most importantly, lots of love. Thankfully, you won’t be alone this time!Grow your shelter with new employees!
Managing a whole shelter by yourself is a tough job! Good thing you’ve got the help of skilled workers that can take on some of the responsibilities. Remember – managing people is not easy either!Play with your friends in co-op with up to 6 players!
Everything is always more fun with friends! Invite your friends to work on your shelter and find the perfect homes for your animals together! Emote, interact and have fun, all the while being surrounded by beautiful scenery and cute animals.
Help animals find their forever homes!
The adoption process requires a lot of patience. It is important to pick the correct pet for the right person, and vice versa! In Animal Shelter Simulator 2, the potential adopters will be able to visit the shelter and see the pets for themselves before they make up their mind about them. Remember that a lot of things can impact the chance of an adoption: the animal’s traits, their current state, and even the state of the shelter itself!Maintain the shelter and enjoy its beauty!
Your shelter is located in a picturesque little town surrounded by the forest and mountains. Make sure that it fits right in among the beautiful scenery – keep it clean and upgrade its features regularly! Enjoy the view of it both during the day and at night!Meet your new furry friends

A new update for Animal Shelter 2 just dropped!
🐾We’ve prepared a bunch of fixes and improvements for the base game, Pack and DLC's. Thank you for all your reports and feedback - it really helps us improve the game! ❤️
Hunting Dogs DLC:
- Fix some neck clothes not working as intended on adult Polish hunting dog.
- Fix one cloth not working on adult English Setter.
- Improved look on English Setter ears, both adult and puppy.
Vet Clinic DLC:
- Fix not being able to do RTG/MRI scan in some cases.
- Fix not being able to remove tick in some cases, even though you could aim and highlight it.
My Little Friends DLC:
- Fix one hat not working correctly on Degu.
- Fix hole in one wall in rodents building.
Full Game:
- Returning adopters won't be appearing in shelter without pets.
- Fixed water dripping from some pets all the time.
- Water should correctly drip from pets if they are wet, before, some pets did not have that feature.
- Fix weird interaction when trying to paint ceiling in washing station and storage.
- Removed few cube like objects in dog isolation room.
- Improved performance slightly.
- Fixed not being able to get pet from van in very specific cases.
- Fix clients not being able to open cage doors in some cases.
- Hopefully fixed client crash when picking up pet from Van.
- Fix to inspector sometimes getting stuck in room even though there was nothing in his way.
- Fix pets and npc's being stuck on one table notoriously.
- Fix clients having duplicate adopter npc sometimes, that was not initialized correctly.

- Fixed USG popup not showing up correctly.
- Fixed not being able to put salves on pets in some cases.
- Fixed leaves on interventions not being interactable sometimes.
- Fixed client not being able to cancel/schedule adopter visit.

This update introduces several fixes and improvements to make your shelter experience smoother. Check out the details below.
VET DLC patch notes:
- Removed one unused duplicate item from game.
- Fix few vet assistances rewarding player with aforementioned item, now they correctly reward player with gauze.
- Blocked putting rodents on examination table. They were not supposed to be placed there.
- Client is now able to pickup drip after finished dosage.
- Possible fix to command freeze.
- Popups from DLC will show up after finishing tutorial, instead right after starting new game.
Base Game patch notes:
- Kittens should navigate more smoothly onto cat pillows.
- Fix rain particles floating in the air in front of reception when shelter was fully upgraded.
- Clients will now correctly receive leash or carrier after dialogue with adopter, before it was being dropped to the ground for them.
- Fix janky client physics when throwing out items to trash bin. Sometimes resulting in client teleporting to the roof.
- Fix sphynx looking weird from further away.
- Fix puppy husky one cloth not working properly.

The van/first animal issue (player being blocked after van arrives with the animal) should be fixed!

🤒 Physical and mental health for your animals
Physical health, as important as it is, is not all that there is to an animal’s well-being. After purchasing a clicker in the store, you’ll be able to train your animals commands and encourage desired behaviors. Training the animals in your shelter not only stimulates their mind, but also corrects unwanted behaviors, making them more appealing to adopters. 💕

Buuut now we have even better news for you, because Patch 1.1.6 is now available for download! 😍
We’re constantly working on improving the game - fixing bugs, polishing details and making your shelter run smoother every day 🛠️✨
Patch 1.1.6 changelog:
- [Little Friends DLC] Fix rat flowerbed shop item having shelves attached to it.
- Fix map quests regarding brushing cats or washing dogs, not working as intended, it should be much easier to complete them now.
- Fix to fuse box disappearing in some particular cases.
- Pets should navigate better when there are multiple of them in one place, especially smaller ones.
- Pet list in tablet will be refreshed more often on clients, to avoid confusing circumstances.
- Fix not being able to paint some fence walls.
- Made painting fence walls more a bit less confusing.
- Fix diarrhea stain not having it's owner when hovering over it as in the case with normal poop.
- Add Item name texts on quick bar.
- Add some more visual feedback when player successfully collects a sample.
- Fix tutorial pet in some cases being stuck at task "Player went to sleep", after reloading the save it should be fixed.
- Improved pets' navigation on cat pillows.
- Clients will correctly see old pets visuals.
- Pets being afraid of other pets won't be scared as often as they do now.
- Fix to water lid sometimes being present after finishing intervention.
- Corrected terrain in park, making models clip with ground.

Here’s what’s included in Patch 1.1.5 ⬇️
- We can't put rodents on washing station now to avoid confussion.
- Fix clients needing to be in front of the rodent when giving medicine to it while it was in a cage.
- Minor error fixes.
- Minor typo/spelling fixes.
- Big dogs should navigate better to objects in close proximity.
- Fix hungry/thirsty notifications showing way too often in kitties and puppies.
- Fixed cats getting stuck on cat walks sometimes.
- Fixed some cases with pets getting stuck in place without any reason.
- Fix puppy rottweiler animations behaving weird.
- Fix angle grinder audio being present even on muted game.
- Cats will move more lively now.
- Few fixes regarding pets getting stuck on some items. (more to come)
- Fix to 4 photos giving less ad attractivneess than 3 photos.
- Increased speed at which leaves are being raked.
- Pet ready for next dosage notification won't be displayed if pet was adopted.
- Hopefully fixed disappearing fuse box problems. If it still appears for you, please send us your save file.
- Fix to some crashes sometimes occuring when multiple players interacted with the same pet.
- Fix to play with laser pet task not completing in some cases.
- Some more minor pathfinding improvements.

A new update has just arrived, and we’re happy to share it with you!
We’re constantly working on improving the game - fixing bugs, polishing details and making your shelter run smoother every day 🛠️✨
And we’re definitely not stopping here!
Here’s what’s new in Patch 1.1.3:
- Hamster treadmills won't have any bars.
- Fix another desk containing placeholder elements.
- Pets won't open doors during tag game.
- Fixed sometimes not being able to sell cages.
- Pathfinding improvements in cages.
- Overall pathfinding improvements. (more to come!)
- Fix sometimes pets not being correctly unassigned from cages.
- Fix contagious disease popup not showing up in some cases.
- Fix golden retriever missing clothes in photobooth.
- Fix puppy rottweiler not looking as good as it should be.
- Fix painting roofs in cat/dog isolation working weirdly.
- Fix in some very specific cases doors in corridor showing "available in full version".
- Major performance boost in late game, on some saves it will be a lot, on some a bit less but it should be noticeable.
