This is how you get access to the beta branch (USE AT YOUR OWN RISK):
Right-Click on Aquapark Tycoon in your Steam list, Properties -> Betas -> Select branch 'Beta Branch - Newest Changes'.
Hi everyone,
we have prepared the next patch containing some smaller gameplay adjustments and of course a lot of bugfixes. It is available on the beta branch for you to test out. If you encounter any issues, please use our bug reporter. Note that save games created on this branch can not be opened when you switch back to an older game version.
Gameplay
- Guests choose their favorite activity twice as likely when looking for the next thing to do
- Attractions that are very far away are now less likely to be chosen by guests
- Exception: Favorite attraction
- Guests only start sports-swimming in a pool when it has an area that is deep enough to be a swimmer area
- Guests now dry off a lot quicker and leave less trails of water throughout the park
- Normal Cocktail is now less expensive than a Fancy Cocktail ($9.50 -> $7.50)
- You might have to adjust prices in existing saves!
- Guests now use floaties more often when swimming in a pool
- It is now possible to place wall objects on the entrance
Graphics / UI
- Added option to change resolution in fullscreen mode
- Adjusted layout of shop items with improved clarity for synced item price checkbox
- Adjusted object blueprint window to display joy spark costs separately
- When building things that create a current in a pool, such as lazy river boosters, the pool currents visualisation is enabled automatically
- Search filter now clears itself when selecting a new tab or object category
- Improved phrasing and display of the pay-back-the-loan goal
- Improved visibility of slide sections that can't be built
- Especially all-glass or metallic slide sections now have better visibility
- Staff members are now highlighted when focusing them via the staff management window, so you can find them more easily
- Updated indoor entrance model
- Updated Rocky Waterfall particles
- Updated winter grass snow coverage so that all grass types connect seamlessly with each other
- Adjusted indoor walls to avoid flickering with room dividers
Performance
- Improved auto save performance to reduce frame hitches
- Improved performance when park management window is open
Bugfixes
- Fixed a potential crash when trying to place slide entries
- Fixed an issue where freezing pools were not being properly synced in multiplayer
- Fixed an issue where guests would sometimes not be properly synced in multiplayer after jumping from a diving tower
- Fixed an issue where guests and staff were standing still because their path finding priority was too low
- Fixed an issue where guests could falsely injure themselves when jumping from a diving tower
- Fixed an issue where a rendering artifact could occur in pools with wave machines
- Fixed an issue where guests were clipping into a frozen pool when using a ladder
- Fixed an issue where many guests could get stuck in "dead zones" in lazy rivers
- Fixed an issue where built-in pool benches couldn't be placed next to each other or in tight spaces
- Fixed an issue where guests would sometimes turn away and not use an object after waiting in a queue
- Fixed an issue where guests in the slide queue would continue waiting for the previous wait time after the time was changed
- Fixed an issue where guests would make floors wet from within a closed slide
- Fixed an issue where dirt on the ground would annoy guests that were standing in line for a slide in a slide tower
- Fixed an issue where the pool and sauna info window remained visible after closing and reopening the build window
- Fixed an issue where the sauna infusion info window remained visible when changing tabs
- Fixed an issue where mood icons could flicker when opening UI window of guests or objects
- Fixed an issue where sauna benches would not be in their correct position in rare cases when creating and placing a blueprint (Only works for new blueprints)
- Fixed an issue where some descriptions for staff members were untranslated
- Fixed a few issues in translations
Graphics / UI
- Added new UI icons for the tags of pools, slides and saunas
- Fixed an issue where the colors of "Multi Parasol" could not be customized and its texture was not rendered correctly
- Fixed an issue where the picture for the favourite attraction of guests would be upside down in their UI window
- Fixed an issue where some elements were overlapping in the sauna building UI window
- Fixed an issue where not all characters of a twitch viewer name would be displayed correctly
- Updated some missing translations
Bugfixes
- Fixed an issue where guests and staff were standing still for a long time doing nothing
- Fixed an issue where guests were choosing only one changing room even though they would have plenty to choose from
- Fixed an issue where modifying the indoor area would recreate previously removed objects in unchanged parts of that area
- Fixed a potential crash when guests were joining a queue
- Fixed an issue where building a very large pool or sauna would not remove all non-essential objects in the affected area
- Fixed an issue where objects would flicker visually while moving them
- Fixed an issue where some aromas had no icon in matches and clashes

Gameplay
Fixed an issue where scenarios would not unlock for all players in multiplayer
Fixed an issue in Tumbly Timbers where guests could get stuck when exiting the slide arrival pool
Graphics / UI
Fixed an issue where the game was rendered very pixelated on monitors with high DPI / high resolutions
List of attractions in the park management window is now refreshed when attractions change
Fixed a few issues where UI element spacing was not properly adjusted when UI scaling was active
Fixed an issue where UI of slide piece prices was in the way or too small
Bugfixes
Fixed a potential crash when pressing "R" to switch to advanced rotation while already dragging an object
Fixed a potential crash when using the terrain forming tool and attempting a modification that's not valid
Fixed a potential crash when updating camera
Fixed a potential crash when handling wave simulation data
Fixed an issue where keyboard shortcuts would trigger their actions multiple times
Fixed an issue where guests would interact with objects inside a closed sauna
Fixed an issue where the sauna bench spots for concave corners were not properly shown
Fixed an issue where sauna benches could not be placed in rare cases even though the location was valid
Known Issues

Guests & staff sometimes stop doing what they're doing, and start idling around doing nothing
Update: We narrowed the bug down to forbidden areas. Having many guests and a forbidden area (even one tiny area with 1 square is enough) leads to this problem.
Guests sometimes all want to use the same changing room when leaving
