About the Game
Asleep is a psychological horror adventure set in the Brazilian Northeast of the 90s, and with a unique artistic look, ranging from detailed pixel art to fluid animations. "Act 1" is the first episode of Ana Lúcia's story, a lonely and confused girl, lost in her nightmares, and immersed in a disturbing reality.
With not much information, and a mind flirting with insanity, the player must join her to unravel what is happening in her universe, collecting clues in her sketchbook and solving puzzles. Armed only with a flashlight to illuminate the path, and wit to survive the enemies always lurking in the darkness.

Turn to your flashlight and the ambient lighting to survive, using light to find new items and places, and even to attract or avoid enemies. Different monsters react differently to light! With your flashlight in hand, use stealth mechanics to escape dangers while learning to deal with each threat.

Avoid staying in the dark for too long, as it will cause the protagonist's sanity to deteriorate, leaving her anxious and attracting more dangers. The longer in the darkness, the more chaotic Ana Lúcia's nightmares become.

Explore point-and-click mechanics to solve puzzles, flee from monsters like in classic survival horrors, and navigate the environment through Asleep's platforming elements. All while experiencing the game's dark atmosphere by exploring the highly detailed 2D environments developed in pixel art.
And more:
Travel between two versions of the game's universe, encountering an even darker and more hostile side of it
Collect documents, items, and clues to unravel the dark mysteries of the plot
Dense narrative with some choices and collectibles that can unlock secret memories
Story divided into chapters, with Act 1 being the first part of the game - Act 2 now available as DLC!

⚠️ Important Notice:
This patch fixes several critical bugs related to the game’s save system.
To ensure the fixes work properly, starting a new save after updating is required.
We apologize for the inconvenience and truly appreciate your continued support and understanding!
Act 2 – Bug Fixes:
- Interacting with a cocoon object in the house in Sertão no longer crashes the game.
- Some items remained available even after being picked up; they are no longer "infinite."
- At night in Sertão, after ending the dialogue with the little girl, Ana would always mark the map, leaving her vulnerable. This has been fixed.
- Certain elements were available before intended. This has been corrected.
- A specific cutscene in the Dark Hospital caused a black screen and crash. Fixed.
- It's no longer possible to exit the scene boundaries at the start of the labyrinth.
- Save-related issues in Act 2 causing hardlocks have been resolved. The game now saves properly, and "Continue" resumes exactly where you left off (not in a hospital room).
- Placing the item in the red board in the hospital no longer causes it to disappear — even if the player leaves and returns to the scene.
