About the Game
Step out of retirement back into the life of crime in the shoes of the Payday Gang, the envy of their peers and the nightmare of law-enforcement wherever they go. Several years after the crew’s reign of terror over Washington DC has ended, they assemble once again to deal with the threat that roused them out of early retirement.
The legendary Payday Crew, dreaded by the law and underworld alike, is back. Ripped from their peaceful retirement to rejoin the criminal world by a new threat, one born from the chaos the Crew left in their wake.
In order to identify and crush this new threat, the Crew is leaving their Washington DC roots behind them and moving to New York City. A new location will bring with it new challenges, but also new opportunities for a heister with a plan.
Give outlet to your greed and let loose in PAYDAY 3. In addition to gold, cash and jewelry and any other valuables they might come across, you’ll be able to build a sizable collection of weapons, cosmetics and accolades.
It won’t be as simple as showing up and gaining goodies. You’ll have to work hard and plan smart to get away with as much loot as possible. Gain experience, unlock new skills and gain proficiency in weapons to steadily grow your power to handle the tougher challenges.
A professional heister knows it takes planning, hard work and a good amount of luck in order to execute a successful heist. In PAYDAY 3 the choice is put in the hands of the players, deciding how to tackle the heist, whether you sneak or go in guns blazing, whether you let your hostages go or keep them around as pawns, whether you go at it alone or bring friends. The choices are endless and in your hands, they will vastly change how the game plays.
Not just anyone is worthy of standing at your side for something as important as a heist. Likewise, PAYDAY 3 is best enjoyed with close friends in mind, whether you bring them from your childhood or make them along the road.
The PAYDAY-series has always valued the bonds made through hardship and tries to reflect that in the actions and words of our heisters while in the game, and through our community while on the outside.

We are now rolling out a new Hotfix to address some of the issues that came up with the 3.10 Update.
Changelog
Multiple improvements to dual-wield animations when viewed in third-person.
Prevented the Quickshot Perk for the Thunder’s Scythe from preventing reloading if combined with the Return Policy skill from the marksman’s tree.
Fixed inaccurate heist payouts on multiple heists.
Fixed the Arges damage reduction decaying while firing.
Fixed lost access to the sawblades from the Brute Force Crimebond.
Removed vendor slots for the three saw blades, instead making them available exclusively from the Brute Force Crimebond.
Renamed the Quickshot perk for the Lawman to “Lethal Cadence”.
Dual Grimshots
Fixed multiple left-hand animations.
Fixed the game crashing if trying to place a medkit while chambering a new round.
Fixed the left weapon getting stuck after firing, becoming unusable for the rest of the heist.
Prevented firing faster than the animation could play.
Fixed the Grimshots not dealing any damage if firing too fast.
Prevented the cycle animation from playing twice if ADSing during the cycle.
Dual Outlaws
Fixed several left-hand animations.
Fixed the animations when crouching and inspecting the weapon.
Fixed the guns floating if holding ADS after reloading.
Fixed the barrel mod floating if using the short barrel.
Fixed the Smooth Cylinder reload animation replacing the entire cylinder instead of just the ammunition.
Fixed the mods appearing to detach during rapid equip/unequip.
Fixed the Trickshot perk not working when combined with the CQB barrel.
Fixed the Scales of Justice only unlocking for the player holding the judge while escaping.
Fixed the mask pattern having a broken normal.

Fixed the in-game store showing incorrect prices for Japanese players.
Fixed a crash that could occur after saving a loadout.
Gameplay
Controller players using the legacy control mapping should now be able to lockpick again.
Fixed a crash that could occur when a player’s throwable is destroyed while they are in custody or offline.
Fixed a crash that could occur when shooting a Zapper’s Proxy Mine.
Fixed Team AI not targeting Cloakers who are attacking a downed player.
Cloakers will no longer kick a player immediately after being revived by Team AI.
Cloakers can once again be stunned by a melee attack when they are charging at a player, and have a higher chance to be stunned by ranged weapons.
Zappers and Grenadiers no longer instantly respawn after dying to damage inflicted on their weak points.
Reduced the spawn rates of Cloakers and Techies.
Fixed Techies not spawning at all on Normal difficulty.
Increased the limit of Techies from 1 to 2 on the OVERKILL Difficulty.

Saw perks through the OVERKILL vendor no longer require the Brute Force DLC, allowing stolen saws to be equipped with perks.
Fixed players at max Renown (1600) being unable to gain Renown after stealing from the Brute Force Crimebond.
Fixed controller players being sent to the store and having their selected skills reset after unequipping a stolen skill.
Fixed suits stolen with Renown not showing as owned.

Added the addition of the “Teammate Suspicion Detection” User Interface setting to the 3.4 Changelog
Change to 'Advanced' to show a detection meter above teammates while in Stealth, when they are in line of sight of a guard or camera
No Rest for the Wicked
Fixed progression being blocked when using the “Equipment Dead Drop” favor with the thermal lance entry method
Fixed an issue displaying the wrong icons in the weapon modification interface
Prevented a crash in the DLC store interface on Steam
Prevented a crash that could occur if players were taken into custody after throwing a smoke grenade
Fixed Infamous Rewards gained from completing PAYDAY 2 Milestones not appearing correctly in player inventories
