About the Game
Two Vehicles. One Chain. Zero room for mistake.
Chained Wheels is an online co-op driving adventure that challenges two players to control two cars that are permanently chained together. Your mission: survive and traverse a series of harsh off-road biomes, each one designed to push teamwork, coordination, and driving skill to the limit.
If one player makes a mistake, both players pay the price.
FIND A WAY BACK
You and your friend, who love off-road driving, go a little too far and get trapped in impossible terrain. The only solution is to chain your cars together and work your way out.
EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED
Different biomes and changing weather conditions can completely alter how your vehicles behave. You need to adapt quickly and be ready when things don't go as planned.
IT'S NOT JUST DRIVING
Every area is filled with obstacles and physics-based puzzles that test coordination and timing. Use your chain to figure out how to get both cars through in one piece.

Play Together Update is Here!
We’ve released a major update that makes playing together much more enjoyable. Here’s what’s new:
Gamepad & Local Co-op Support
Added native gamepad support.
Introduced local co-op. Multiple players can now play together on the same device.
Local co-op currently uses a shared camera. Split-screen support will be added in future updates.
Added UI elements for local co-op.
You can now select “Local Co-op” as the game mode when creating a game.

Revamped Game Creation Experience
Completely redesigned the game creation screen.
Updated the game mode selection screen to also feel like a map selection screen.
This makes upcoming regions and content more visible.
Added a non-interactive “Coming Soon” card to showcase future content.

New Camera Features
We improved the camera system to enhance the gamepad and local co-op experience:
Added the ability to quickly reset the camera behind the vehicle.
Added an option to lock camera rotation.
Improved camera and control responsiveness for smoother gamepad usage.

Bug Fixes & Improvements
Fixed a crash that occurred on the host side when a client left the game.
Fixed and improved several minor UI issues:
Balanced spacing between difficulty boxes in the lobby screen.
Updated the background of the leaderboard screen.
Updated the background of the game creation screen.
Gameplay Improvements
Improved the section near the end of the game where players use a chain and hook to press a button and open a door.
Prevented the hook from unintentionally attaching to walls.
We investigated the issue that was preventing the game from launching, and with the latest update, it has now been fully resolved.
Technical Update
We’ve fully transitioned the game to DirectX 11.
Updated the system to run entirely on DirectX 11 to reduce crashes on older or problematic graphics cards.
We’ve rolled out a new update focused on improving gameplay flow, fixing frustrating issues, and making the overall experience smoother and more enjoyable.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Game Over screen could get stuck.
Fixed a bug where players could get stuck on top of the white tunnel.
Fixed an issue causing the chain to turn red unexpectedly.
Improvements & Changes
Based on your feedback that the tornado’s area of effect was difficult to understand, we’ve added a new visual indicator to make it clearer.

Reworking the rotating mill (fan-like gate obstacle) to prevent potential physics clipping issues.

Vehicle stats are now displayed in the lobby.

Updated the breakable bridge behavior — it now collapses with a slight delay instead of instantly.
Improved the way tornado launches affect players.
Reduced extreme knockback caused by collider collisions (this may not be fully resolved yet — we’ll keep working on it).
Made improvements to reduce chain jitter (further refinements are ongoing).
Gameplay Updates
All checkpoints now function as save points across every difficulty level.
Removed trees from areas where players frequently fail to improve flow and fairness.
Technical Improvements
Improved GameAnalytics logging for more accurate data tracking.
