Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is a post-apocalyptic, hybrid action-RPG in which unfettered exploration of majestic Chornobyl mixes with dark, survival horror & sci-fi atmosphere.
Play as Cole Gray - an experienced Planewalker, who sets off on a journey to the unknown and undiscovered regions of the Chernobyl Zone in the search of cure for his daughter.

Fixed an issue with broken save after learning new perks reported by VakamakaFo

After the recent hotfix, some of you reported an issue where the F interaction key stopped working correctly in crafting stations or partially at the vendors. This prevented players from using these features as intended.
We’ve now deployed a fix addressing this problem.

We are aware of an issue affecting scopes that some players have reported. Our development team is actively investigating and working on a fix. A new hotfix addressing this and additional improvements will be released soon.

Fixes:
Fixed an issue where interacting with the vendor could cause the game to freeze for some players,
Additional fixes to the cello music associated with several events. – If you still hear violin music after loading a save, exit the event area to let the music fade out,
Melee weapon durability bug has been fixed – melee weapon damage now properly decreases as durability decreases,
DPS is now properly displayed in the inventory for firearms when durability decreases,
Fixed wall texture in the heating node at the player base.

Today’s update brings another batch of fixes and improvements to your experience in the Exclusion Zone. Thanks again for all your bug reports and feedback – here’s what’s changed:
Community request:
We have added an option that allows you to permanently hide all indicators related to stealth. Immersion fans will appreciate this,
Taking damage will no longer interrupt reloading, which should make fighting melee-armed enemies with firearms less frustrating,
Improvements:
We have significantly improved the behavior of stealth indicators. They now appear gradually as the threat level increases, and their color more clearly reflects the alert state of a given enemy,
We have increased the impact of various elements on Vitals to make them more significant in gameplay. Remember that you can adjust the difficulty of this feature at any time in the game options.
Final early access endgame message adjusted,
Critical strike indicator text now changes based on enemy stamina state,
We have disabled 3 side quests that should not yet be available to you. They are at too early a stage of development,
Improved display of equipment repair costs,
We have fixed several unlocalized lines that appeared in various languages,

Enemies should no longer clip into walls during evades or staggers,

Improvements/Additions:
- [Community Request by @Cast]Automatic Camera Switch – If you liked our original idea for the action camera (Tablet/FPP during exploration, TPP during combat) and prefer it over the current manual view-switching option, you can now restore it in the game settings.
- We added a popup that appears after changing graphic settings, informing you that some shaders need to be recompiled.
BTW: We’re aware that shader compilation is long and annoying. We will definitely optimize and significantly speed up this process. But for now, we decided that a longer (and optional) compilation is better than continued suffering from the stuttering nightmare caused by PSO.
Fixes:
- Cole will no longer appear bald in the inventory view
- On controllers, when using the Tablet in TPP view, LT will no longer trigger both scanning and zoom at the same time
- Suppressed weapons should now have correct sound effects
- We've fixed the sound effects for the new crystal energy weapons
- We've fixed camera angles that were showing the wrong things in certain dialogues
- We've fixed a rare bug that caused the game to stop auto-saving
- We've fixed an aiming bug when using one of the AK-47 variants
- We've fixed a floating road near the Eye of Moscow area
- We've fixed a rare crash caused by issues with the game’s physics
- The Crystal Laser will no longer fall under the level when dropped from the backpack.
- We fixed a bug that could occasionally distort faces during their animation in dialogues. Everything should look correct now.
