Dig and Deal is a digging and trading simulator where you run your own shop by selling the treasures you uncover underground. Dig, explore, collect valuable items, and make deals with your customers to grow your fortune! Buy better tools, dig deeper, discover rarer loot.
Dig the terrain, find valuable items, upgrade your equipment, and dig even deeper.
Negotiate prices with customers to get the best possible deals.
Some customers will offer unique quests with special rewards. Complete them to earn extra cash and uncover their stories.
Decorate and upgrade your shop with furniture and props to improve its look.

Collection Panel: Check your collected items and see how many treasure maps you've completed! (Unfortunately, only items collected from now on will be tracked.)
No More Busted for Not Digging: You can now spend the whole day without digging and still stay safe!
Improved Jumping: Jumping feels better now.
New Achievement: Added the "Collect All Items" achievement.
Hotbar Scrolling: You can now switch between Hotbar items using the scroll wheel.
Bug Fixes: Squashed some bugs!

I also know there are a few other features and improvements you’ve been waiting for. I’ll be adding these in upcoming updates:
* A text showing how many Treasure Maps you have left to complete
* You won’t get Busted if you haven’t dug up anything
* Ability to select Hotbar items with the scroll wheel
* A UI showing which items have been collected and which ones are still not collected

Fixes & Improvements
- Fixed a critical issue where items could disappear from shelves.
- Added a new head shake animation for customers.
- Furniture now returns to its previous position if you try to place it in an invalid location.

This is a small patch focused on fixing several annoying bugs reported by players.
Fixes
Fixed a bug where chests could disappear when being opened.
Items now drop to the ground when a shelf is sold instead of disappearing.
Fixed a crash that could occur if a shelf was removed while a customer was choosing an item from it.
Fixed an issue with the customer phone-checking animation.
Fixed a bug where dialogue responses would stop working after changing the game language during gameplay.

Changes & Additions
- Terrain is now a bit more slippery, making it easier to get out of holes.
- Added a Head Bobbing Toggle option.
- Added the Laser Drill achievement. (This achievement was added because it's important. Other new achievements will be added together in a future update.)
Developer Note:
From now on, updates will be less frequent, but they'll contain more meaningful changes and content.

This patch is mostly focused on fixes:
- Fixed an incorrect time label in the “Digging License” description (it now correctly states permission to dig until 11:00 PM instead of AM).
- Corrected a display issue where the “Call for Help” fee was shown incorrectly.
- Added a downward digging limit to maps.
- Fixed an issue where resolution settings were not being saved properly.
- Various minor bug fixes and stability improvements.
Thanks for the continued feedback—more substantial updates are coming next.
Quick personal update: my surgery went smoothly, but my hand will stay in a cast for about two more weeks. Development is a bit slower than usual for now, so thank you for your patience and support. You guys are the best!

Hi everyone,
As mentioned in my previous announcement, I’ll be recovering from surgery and working with one hand for the next month. It’s a bit of a challenge, but development continues. Here are the changes for v0.1.7.1:
Advanced Detector: Resolved an issue where the Advanced Detector was not functioning correctly.
Fast Travel Balance: Fast travel costs are now capped at a maximum of $5,000.
Locked Chest: Locked chests have been added to every map in the game.
Localization: Corrected several text and translation errors.
Updates might be a bit more spaced out over the next few weeks since doing it with my left hand turns out to be pretty difficult, but I’ll still be keeping a close eye on your feedback.

New Features & Improvements
- Added sprint functionality for players using arrow keys — you can now sprint using the Right Shift key.
- Item collection achievements are now fully functional. Previously completed achievements that didn’t unlock will now be granted retroactively all at once.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where the bunker in the forest was being covered by the terrain layer.
- Fixed a bug causing one-time items inside the bunker to respawn daily.
- Fixed an issue where the robbery was unable to break glass.
- Fixed a bug where items would not appear if X-ray was used at the start.

🔧 Fixes & Improvements
- Steam Achievements Fix (Moon Bunker)
Fixed an issue where unlocking the Moon Bunker didn’t properly grant certain Steam achievements. A new trigger system has been implemented—if you’ve already opened the door, simply go back inside and the achievement should activate. - End Day Flexibility
If you’ve the Digging License, you can now end your day after 9:00 PM. No more waiting around until 11:00 PM...
💡 Additional Notes
- This patch mainly targets progression reliability and pacing.
- If achievements still don’t trigger, try re-entering the bunker once more.
