About the Game
This game will test your patience, your phone skills, and your friendships. You can either:
Play Solo - Master the flip, struggle your way up, and experience the story alone.
Play Online CO-OP - Struggling together with up to 16 friends.
No Legs. Just Flips.
Rotate-Only Movement - Flippy doesn't have legs... Your only movements are rotation and a vibration jump.
Hard Climb - Small mistake, big drop. 10 different areas and a clear goal - reach the top and reunite with your boy.
Struggle Together
Help Each Other - Use Beams and Microwaves to help your friends.
Proximity Chat - Yell at your friends as everything goes wrong

Little Jeff slipped on a strategically placed banana peel and accidentally yeeted Flippy into a storm drain... Now they're separated... Get your way back to Jeff for the happy ending they deserve!

The demo is going offline
Today we're taking the free Flipping Is Hard demo off Steam.
Thank you to everyone who flipped, fell, flipped again, and sent us clips of your worst falls. Your feedback, bug reports and rage went straight into the game, and the full release is much better because of it.
So what happens now?
Flippy is resting up for the big climb. The full game launches on October 16, 2026 with the whole Trashlands to climb, a lot more ways to fall, and a Narrator who has plenty more to say.

Phone collision points with ceilings no longer have friction, making Flippy less likely to get stuck.
All levels (Storm Drain, Cardboard Fort, Playground) received multiple (17) minor level design improvements.
