About the Game
Welcome to Gone Fishing, a 1-8 player co-op horror game where players must fish together to satisfy the hunger of an ancient lake monster's never-ending hunger before each night falls.
Cast your line, catch fish, and gather bait. But beneath the surface, something stirs and it's getting hungry... If you and your friends fail to offer enough fish before darkness creeps in, the creature will emerge, hunting you relentlessly. The cabin won’t keep you safe. Running won’t either. Only a full offering can delay the inevitable.
Key Features:
Immersive Fishing System: Catch a variety of fish species, each with unique behaviors, fight patterns, and sizes.
Dynamic Bait Collection: Hunt for live bait, frogs, worms, spiders, and bats, that each react differently to your presence.
Atmospheric Horror: Peaceful days turn into tense nights as the monster grows more aggressive with each failed offering.
Co-Op Survival: Coordinate with your team to gather, fish, and survive, or risk being dragged into the lake one by one.
Balloon Merchant: A mysterious trader floats in at midday, offering upgrades and totems that may be the difference between survival and doom.
Gone Fishing blends the calm of fishing with the creeping dread of survival horror. Feed the lake monster… or become its next feast.
How To Play
Gather Bait from the surrounding landscape. Bait lets you catch bigger fish, and big fish like big bait. Pressing TAB, or whatever inventory button you’ve chosen, will allow you to equip the bait once caught.
Go Fishing in the lake. Hold LMB to cast your line. When you get a bite, click LMB at the right moment to set the hook.
If your timing is off, the fish becomes harder to reel in.
Hold LMB to reel it in, but be careful—too much tension and the line snaps, too little and the fish escapes!
Sacrifice Fish To The Lake Monster by dropping the fish in the altar with ‘G’ or your drop key! Or drop your fish in the Hot Air Balloon Trader’s basket to earn money for Upgrades and Totems!

Every fish you catch is recorded! Compete with players across the world to land the biggest fish and climb the global leaderboard.

Made so you can kill the lil green guy who jumps on your face (Miken tried to blow it up which made me realize i forgot you cant kill the lil bastard)
Fixed an issue that prevented players from switching perspectives when spectating

Fixed an issue with the achievements for killing a player with tnt and for pushing a player for atleast 10 seconds

fixed an issue with fish flying off the grill after cooking
changed the bait score bonus from day count to be more consistent. For example, on day 60 the bait score bonus now has a range of 1.4->1.5 when it was 1.25->1.5

Made so the Father Shark (Enderman-like creature) can not be triggered by looking at it through water.
So dont worry about it whens its underwater anymore
The FatherSharker creature only spawns on the swamp map now.
Increased Cooldown between tongue grabs (1 ->3 ), so players have more time to get away from toad after being tongue grabbed.
Decreased Tongue radius of Gigatoad from 2000 to 1800.
Increased tongue pull time from 3 seconds to 4 seconds.
Reduced the time it takes to cook fish on the stove by roughly 33%
Reduced the sound attenuation of the torch to help prevent sound overlap which was causing issues
Reduced the difficulty of escaping from the frog
Reduced the number of daily giga toad spawns from 4 to 2

FIxed an issue where some boulders would have no collision
Fixed an issue where clients couldn’t hear the father shark sfx.
Fixed an issue where the heart beat sound that alerted you to fathershark would not play for clients.
Fixed a bug where if you REALLY close to the father shark he wont get mad at you even if you stare at him. Now if you are REALLY close to the father shark he will kill you, even if you look away. (he doesnt like being touched :( (hes shy remember))
Fixed animation bug on the Gigatoad, where he would keep his mouth open when his tongue wasn't out.
Fixed an audio bug where the gigatoad’s tongue noise sfx would play even after his tongue was no longer out.
Fixed an issue where some trees would not have collision on the swamp map
Fixed an issue where there would be floating items and bait in the respawn cave on the swamp map
Fixed an issue where when clients buy some items from shop the hosts fishing line gets reset.
Fixed an issue where on loading into a map, then exiting back to main menu, opening and closing the cosmetic ui would cause the main menu to break
Fixed a bug that would cause multiple stalkers to spawn at a time
Fixed several issues with pathing for the naked man on the arctic map
Fixed several collision issues on the arctic map
Fixed Player Profile pic in esc menu from being squashed.

Overhauled how items and totems are purchased and saved to fix multiple issues where items might not spawn properly or totems might not spawn in on loading a save file.
Fixed several issues where character textures might not load properly
Fixed an issue where the impaler creature could spawn without warning the player first
Fixed an issue with the female model where items would not be held in hand
Fixed an issue where fishing hotspots would spawn in invalid locations on the arctic map
Fixed a bug where the trader would sometimes spawn to high on the arctic map
Fixed a bug where the crab could sometimes be invisible for clients
Fixed a bug where trolls and frog tribesman could spawn in invalid locations on the arctic map
Fixed a bug where bird nest would spawn far to many eggs per nest or just not spawn eggs at all
Fixed a bug where the frog tribe would be destroyed on a new day but the frogs would say

Added a “Chasm caller repurchase” item which will allow you to get another tentacle to spawn in another tunnel (WILL DELETE PREVIOUS TUNNEL)
The camera location in lobby now changes based on the num players (Close up if max of 4) (Far away if max of 8)
Remade female to not have such a boxy frame
Also last patch introduced a couple of visual jank things, which are fixed now.\\
One of the shirts was set to a wrong model. (the brown shirt)
