According to player feedback, on January 6, 2025 new changes significantly reduced the amount of achievements to 40 achievements to follow the cozy and casual game vibe of GPGP Steam.
The 40 new achievements will be synced with your game progress with the new game version 5.21.0 coming this afternoon.
Changes:
• Removed most "tiered" achievements: achievements with numbers 'I, II, III, etc'
• Created a new, simplified Steam-only achievements to continue the satisfaction of 100% maxing out the game.
- 'Done And Dusted I, II, III, IV and V' for completing each chapter of the game
• Removed unrealistic high tiered achievements from 'Ovenist', ' Pizza Entrepreneur', 'Consistency', 'In Business', 'Place x topping 500-1000 times', and 'Delivery Master'.
- If you really want to achieve all 300+ achievements in game, they still can be achieved in the game directly for Pizza Gems in the MyPad, but are removed on Steam achievements.
• Removed the old unachievable achievements: 'Tip Top Shop', 'Consistent Yet Intense', 'Smells of Skunk', 'Pizza Genius' and 'A Great Start'
• Modified 2 old achievements as simpler requirements: 'Great Service' and 'Toppings For Days'
• Removed unachievable 'watch x ad' achievements
Done And Dusted Achievements work as follows. Please see if you still have an issue!
• CH 1 - At the end of day 21 (most likely, because very old players might have longer chapter 1)
- It is also a day after this PNN appears:
"Hot topic of the week: People who don't like pizza and those who love them anyway.
In other news: Chicago style or New York? Tonight, we let a bear decide."
• CH 2 - Finish 2 more game days from the day of Peppertiti's final test: "Risen up from earth's decay and sun's radiant nectar required. Death's repose cannot be savored without sweet slice of life. Two sides balanced and made whole."
• CH 3 - Finishing 2 game days after PNN saying one of the following, based on CH 3 story:
- PNN: "Dr. Michael Keh, the discredited entrepreneur who was known for creating the “perfect pizza”, is currently missing and wanted for fraud."
- PNN 2: "Tonight on BRICKFIRE: [Player’s Restaurant Name]. Is their newfound success founded on artificial flavoring, or is it the genuine article? More at 11."
- PNN 3: "‘Ambrosia’ has closed its doors. Dr. Michael Keh announced that he is dedicating the rest of his life to finding the “perfect flavor”."
- PNN 4: "In other news, pizza lovers are coming in droves to visit [Player’s Restaurant Name], which has reached No.1 on OrderUp. Is it a new and improved recipe, or do people just love a classic?"
• CH 4 - Finish 2 more game days from the day Alicante visits saying: "Well well well, looks like BDP is no longer a threat now, and all these new toppings are available on the market again."
- It is also 2 game days after the day that garden decors are unlocked
CH 5 - After Peppertiti has finished saying:
"Thanks to you, the threat of Julius Cheeser is gone. The pizza industry is safe with you around, Ovenist."

Hello GPGP Steam Players,
We apologize for the confusion and frustration caused with our recent Steam achievement addition. As many of you have noticed, we’ve added 200 new Steam achievements that better align and sync with the in-game MyPad achievements. To accommodate these changes, we’ve updated and changed many older Steam achievements from 2018.
A new synchronization system will roll out with the upcoming update (version 5.20.3), scheduled for release this week. This update aims to sync the newly added Steam achievements with your in-game achievements.
We understand the frustration and confusion these changes may have caused and sincerely apologize for the confusion this has caused. The upcoming update 5.20.3 focuses on core game achievements as well as ones from chapters 1 and 2.
For better transparency, we are still experiencing some challenges uploading additional achievements to Steam from the sheer number of them as well as different criteria some achievements have. We may need some additional time to figure out the seasonal event achievement implementation, but rest assured chapters 3, 4, and 5 achievements will start uploading once we confirm achievement sync in 5.20.3 are fully implemented and functioning.
We know this process has taken longer than anticipated, and we deeply appreciate your patience and support. A special thanks to everyone who has provided feedback or reported issues—your input is invaluable. While we may not always be able to respond directly, please know that we read and consider every comment and suggestion.
Looking ahead, we’re exploring ways to implement a windowed mode for the game. Unfortunately, the current design approach has proven unfeasible due to the game’s core layering structure. However, we hope to find new ways in 2025.

There seems to have been a bug on version 5.16.0 where players could not access level 5 of the game despite their local time being past October 19, 2024, 12AM.
If you are on Steam, the new update version 5.16.1 (434) is now available for you to download. Please check the newest update and let us know if you still face any issues.
We apologize for the confusion this bug may have caused - please let our support team know of any other issues by accessing the Settings in-game, pressing the headset button, then submitting a support form. We will get back to you as soon as possible with the current priority on Halloween event bugs.
