Game:
You're Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family. Narrowly escaping the brutal attack, you grab your sword to fight back. Avenge the death of your parents and help repel the invading forces!Story:
Bohemia – located in the heart of Europe, the region is rich in culture, silver, and sprawling castles. The death of its beloved ruler, Emperor Charles IV, has plunged the kingdom into dark times: war, corruption, and discord are tearing this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart.One of Charles' sons, Wenceslas, has inherited the crown. Unlike his father, Wenceslas is a naive, self-indulgent, unambitious monarch. His half-brother and King of Hungary, Sigismund the Red Fox, senses weakness in Wenceslas. Feigning good will, Sigismund travels to Bohemia and kidnaps his half-brother. With no king on the throne, Sigismund is now free to plunder Bohemia and seize its riches.
In the midst of this chaos, you're Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Your peaceful life is shattered when a mercenary raid, ordered by King Sigismund himself, burns your village to the ground. By bittersweet fortune, you are one of the few survivors of this massacre.
Without a home, family, or future you end up in the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who is forming a resistance against the invasion. Fate drags you into this bloody conflict and shoves you into a raging civil war, where you help fight for the future of Bohemia.

We have just released a Patch for Kingdom Come: Deliverance fixing a couple of issues from the last release and adding improved sounds.
Small patch with a couple of fixes, the most noticable being the issues which affected the HD sounds, improving how KCD sounds.
Here are the full list of changes for this update.
Changes and fixes:
Fixed issue where the title would lock up when pressing the ‘delete’ key in any menu except the keybinds menu.
Fixed issue when creating a new game from the pause menu where items or their state could carry over to the new game.
Fixed issue where the HD Sounds DLC files would not be used.
Fixed issue where the HD Voiceover DLC patch paks would not load.
Updated HD Sounds DLC banks with the latest sound data.

We have just released Patch 1.9.7 for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, focusing on community-requested stability fixes and new account features.
With this update, we are introducing Deep Silver Account integration. By signing up, you’ll receive a special horse caparison to dress your noble steed. Additionally, our team has addressed several long-standing technical issues - including the rare "Siege" quest infinite loading screen - to ensure your journey through Bohemia is as seamless as possible.

● Deep Silver Account integration
○ Signing up to Deep Silver Account will grant players a horse caparison. The item will be added to the player stash once the prologue has been completed.
Stability
● Fixed infinite loading screen when sleeping on a specific bench during the Run! Quest
● Fixed infinite loading screen when pressing continue in a certain circumstance
● Fixed infinite loading screen after the Trebuchet cinematic during the Siege quest
○ Developers’ note: The infinite loading during the Siege quest that would permanently brick save games could very rarely occur when doing the “From the Ashes” DLC questline beforehand. During the Trebuchet cinematic, the game would wait for Sir Divish to finish scheduled behaviour from that DLC, but would never finalize because it was no longer a valid behaviour.
● Fixed very rare deadlock in the physics synchronization
● Fixed issue where the title would freeze when changing the language from main menu
● Fixed crash when simultaneously using gather feature together with skip time feature
● Fixed multiple crashes during Baptism of Fire
● Fixed multiple crashes related to the vegetation system
● Fixed multiple crashes related to invalid models or areas
● Fixed multiple crashes and long freezes during language change operations
● Fixed multiple race condition crashes.
Gameplay
● Fixed issue where the achievements “Casanova” and “Full house sinner” would not unlock under certain conditions
● Fixed issue where controls were blocked when playing dice with Stephan.
UI
● Fixed multiple instances of placeholder/missing text
● Fixed issue where the incorrect subtitles would display in the final cinematic
● Fixed issue where font could break when switching between Japanese and other languages, causing missing or square symbols to appear
● Fixed issue where the settings menu would momentarily appear when switching between Japanese and other languages
● Fixed issue where compass markers would not display after changing language in-game.
Other
● Fixed issue where the “Quilted Vest” made Henry’s arms transparent.
