About the Game
Shady job is a co-op adventure game - best with a crew of 4.
You’re construction workers.
You got a shady job.
Carry a body bag to the top of a skyscraper.
Bury it in concrete.
Everything goes according to plan.
Until the body wakes up.
It wants out.
Build paths across unfinished skyscrapers.
Survive hazardous construction sites.
Don’t let it get away.
THE BAG FIGHTS BACK
The bag is not just cargo. It struggles, escapes, breaks structures and pushes players off ledges. The bag gets more aggressive if you handle it too roughly.
BUILD YOUR WAY UP
Create unstable bridges over deadly drops, using different building blocks. One mistake can destroy the entire structure. Manipulate cranes and platforms to get higher above the city. Beware dangerous traps and environments.
CO-OP PHYSICS CHAOS
Break walls and windows. Use the Plunger Gun to climb, survive, and control the bag. Save teammates from deadly falls and escape physics-driven disasters. No route ever goes according to plan.

Hey everyone! 👋
Here’s what’s new:
🔥 Rage Unleashed
A new game modifier unlocked after completing the game for the first time. The Bag will constantly build up aggression, and it now takes 5 hits to stun it.
🔑 Join games by key
You can now create a public game with “Join by ID only” enabled. The game won’t appear in the public game list, but anyone with the key can join. You can find the key in the pause menu if you forget it.
💀 Improved The Bag’s behavior
The Bag should now navigate and move around the levels more reliably. No more standing in one place for ages wondering what it’s doing.

Hey everyone! 👋
We’ve just released Patch 1.1.10.27 with a few important changes and improvements:
- Added server migration. If the host disconnects during a game, one of the remaining players will become the new host and everyone else will automatically connect to them.
- Checkpoint progress is now saved per player. If you reach a checkpoint with one host and later create your own game, restarting from a checkpoint will bring you back to the checkpoint you reached previously. When joining another host, the game will start from the host’s latest checkpoint, while your personal progress will be preserved and updated only when you reach a later checkpoint.
- Rebalanced items. The number of fire extinguisher charges has been reduced, the fan’s duration has been shortened, and item balance across the levels has been adjusted.
- Redesigned the lobby. It now includes more elements to help players get familiar with the game before jumping into the main action.

Thanks for playing Shady Job and for all the feedback so far! We’ve just released Patch 1.10.27 with some fixes and improvements. Here’s what we’ve changed:
Added seamless joining of friends’ games via Steam Overlay invites. Your friend will now be taken directly into the game.
Added an FOV setting to the options menu.
The default FPS limit is now set to 60. Previously, it was set to the maximum available value, which could put unnecessary strain on the system.
The game mode being searched for is now highlighted in the game search menu.
When the host leaves the game, all other players will now be immediately returned to the main menu with a notification.
Players will now receive a notification when they are kicked from a game.
Removed the data collection confirmation window. This was left over from the playtests and is no longer needed.
Fixed the reward for completing the fourth skyscraper. The reward is now granted correctly.
Fixed several localization issues. If you spot any incorrect localization, please let us know!
