About the Game
With boundless sea at your back and a towering gate ahead, you have no choice but to walk into the maze. Hunt, gather, and run to survive, alone or with friends. In this survival horror, you're not the only one watching. You're not the only one starving.
Find Your Own Way
No one is waiting around the corner to guide you. The only allies are the ones you bring: your friends. So choose wisely, plan carefully, and think outside the box.
Tear branches for torches. Break crates for scraps. Build crude defenses, light your path, and hold your ground when the maze closes in. Everything you carry, you earned.
Gather and Endure
Just because it’s quiet or the view looks good doesn’t mean it’s safe.
Craft weapons from wood, stone, and scrap to defend yourself. Hunt for food, light fires, pick berries, and collect anything that helps you survive. Do not linger in one spot for too long...
Face What Haunts You
The maze isn’t empty. It's alive.
You'll encounter twisted beings shaped by hunger, curiosity, or something worse.
Some like to crawl. Some like to wait. Some mimic what once was human.

Official update history
- Reconfigured physics sync settings for world items and rigidbodies.
- Reduced unnecessary network updates from physics objects to help lower ping spikes and network lag.
- Improved how object movement is synced between host and clients.
- Adjusted sync behavior to make longer sessions with many spawned items more stable.
- Improved overall multiplayer performance in large worlds with many interactable objects.
This should help make co-op sessions feel smoother and more stable, especially as the world fills with more items over time.

- Fixed cart wheel visuals on the client side.
- Reworked cart item physics. Items of the same type can now stack, giving you more room in the cart.
- Improved cart item physics to help reduce potential lag during longer sessions.
- Reset all key bindings and fixed an issue where saved bindings could display correctly but not work after restarting the game.
- Fixed stones and sticks not respawning properly.
- Fixed a revive issue where players could sometimes be revived midair, die again, and get stuck in a revive/death loop.
- Fixed some Skarnhog roaming logic.
- The game now saves whether Jeff has a wheel or not.

For the lag/delay in late game, I am currently working on a final solution that is showing great results. It just needs more testing, will probably be available in the upcoming days.

Cart Teleport Improvements
- Fixed an issue where objects inside the cart could fly everywhere after using cart teleport.
- Improved how carried cart items behave during teleportation.
- Reduced cases where cargo could gain sudden force or behave unpredictably after the cart changes position.
Performance Improvements
- Improved performance during late-game sessions.
- Made additional optimizations aimed at reducing lag in worlds that have been played for a long time.
- This should help improve stability in longer saves with more spawned items and loot.
Version Mismatch Protection
- Added protection against multiplayer version mismatches.
- Players on different game versions should no longer connect without a clear warning.
- If the host and client are using different versions, the game will now show a version mismatch message instead of causing confusing connection issues.

- Zombies in The Abyss are now guaranteed to drop at least one Old Fabric on death.
- Fixed a bug where killing Jeff’s mini clones could unlock the achievement for killing Jeff.
- Updated an achievement name and description to make it clearer for achievement hunters.
Achievement Change
Old:
- First Record Broken
- You beat Dragonbolt218’s first recorded time.
New:
- Dragonbolt218’s Challenge
- Finish a solo run in less than 07h 54m 29s.
This change was made to make it clear that you do not need to be rank one on the leaderboard to unlock the achievement. You only need to beat the listed time.

- Fixed an issue where Shift-clicking an item in the inventory could cause it to disappear.
This is a small hotfix focused on multiplayer connection issues.
Changes
- Applied a potential fix that seems to help some players who are using VPNs.
- Added an in-game note asking players to try disabling VPNs or Cloudflare WARP if they run into connection issues.
We are still working on improving this so players can use VPNs/WARP without running into problems in the future.

- Fixed a visual bug where items inside the cart could float on teleport.
- Implemented a potential fix for late-game lag.

Stamina now restores when you respawn.
Added a confirmation to overwriting saves.
You can also name your save when saving the game.
Fixed an issue where the ballista could sometimes get stuck and stop players from loading or shooting it.

Fixed a major complaint where items inside the cart could fly everywhere because of physics (random enemy running at the cart, bump on the ground etc..). - Fixed health getting stuck below 100
Fixed a bug where a player’s health could become permanently stuck below 100. - Fixed potential save-breaking issues
Fixed cases that could potentially cause saves to break or load incorrectly. - Increased the reach of the Boinker 2000
Has a longer reach than the axe. - Activated trap highlighting
Placed traps can now be highlighted when scanning for items to make them easier to spot. - Temporary fix on multiple gun ammo bug
Limited players to only carrying one marlin in their holster, to prevent ammo loss bug. (This is temporary, to be fixed in the future) - Fixed client-side cart wheel visuals
Fixed a visual bug where cart wheels could appear detached or missing for clients when the cart flipped over.

Hey everyone,
Sorry I’ve been quiet for the past few days. We were visiting family over the weekend, but I’ve been reading and noting down the bug reports from my phone.
I know some of you ran into serious game breaking issues while I was away, especially with saves, so this was the first thing I wanted to fix now that I’m back.
Fixed:
- Fixed an issue where some saves could take forever to load or crash the game.
- Fixed an issue where clients joining a session could crash when loading certain saved data.
This hotfix focuses on the most urgent issue first because some players were at risk of losing access to their saves. There are still more bugs to fix, and I’m working through them by priority.
