About the Game
Take part in a number of action-packed gamemodes with your friends in a selection of different venues, all designed for varying types of gameplay! Craft your own experience by editing the gamemodes to the way you want them to be played!

Do you want to create an all-out brawl using only Dodgeballs, or maybe turn off all of the lights and play Infector in complete darkness? These are just some of the different ways you can alter the Goofy experience! There are endless ways to make Goofy more enjoyable for you and your friends!
Taking part in the gamemodes will earn you Goofy Points, which will increase your level, so you can show off your overall goofiness!

While there's no on-going action, you can take part in some small activities such as the Time Trial events, Four in a Row and the Gravity arcade game. There's also a wide range of achievements to be completed too, which includes some easter eggs!
Compete against your friends in select leaderboard events, such as the Time Trial personal best times, Gravity arcade high score and overall Goofy Points!

After playing and gaining levels, you can personalise your character with a large variety of unlockable cosmetic items so you can make your character be unique and represent you in the way you want!
You can unlock new hats, glasses, shirts, pants and different footwear, with some special items unlocked by completing easter eggs and achievements...

Want to make the experience more immersive? Goofy Gorillas uses positional proximity voice chat, which may or may not turn Goofy into a horror game at times...
But most importantly... don't hit each other too hard!

Steam Patch Notes
Official update history
- Hunters in Prop Hunt will now take damage when hitting props that aren't the Hiders. If they get eliminated, they will lose 5 points (negative points now possible). Stink Bombs are exempt from this, so they should be used to clear out large amounts of props without taking damage.
- Hunters will fully refill their health if they eliminate a Hider prop.
- Added a "?" that appears as a Hunter when a prop makes a taunt sound nearby. The "?" will not reveal the exact location of the prop.
- Removed the holes in the metal gate at the bathroom entrance.
- The taunt sound delay durations have been reduced.
Some Other Notes
- Made some adjustments to the slide momentum + added ability to look around while maintaining the sliding momentum.
- Time Trials will now record your movement and will show a ghost of your personal best run starting from this update. Previous personal best runs will not be counted.
- The sweeper is now deactivated at the start of each round in Prop Hunt. The initial speed of the sweeper has been reduced when starting any other gamemode.
sponge
- The Gravity arcade game has received some upgrades to make the gameplay more interesting and more enjoyable.
- Made adjustments to the ambient occlusion used with SSGI. With SSGI enabled, the game should look less flat and have more depth.
- During Weapons Race, players who are on the Stink Bomb finale will now automatically receive more Stink Bombs every 5 seconds.
- Fixed an issue where the outdated Weapons Race order would still be visible on the UI when replaying the gamemode.
- Changed the colours of the item pickups and the Tag timer pickups, so the item pickups appear more dangerous and Tag timers correspond more to its gamemode colour.
- Moved the buttons to the left side on the Create Server menu.
- Changed the Weapon Race default eliminations needed to advance to 3.
- Added interactable hoops in the entrance area.
- Fixed an issue where the star rooms and the arcade machines would be lit up when late joining an After Hours game.
sponge
- Made a slight change to the proximity chat upon joining a session, it should now detect which voice chat setting you're using i.e Push to Talk or Always On.
- Removed the max players slider from the Create Session menu. The max player count will now be 10 for every session. The option to change how many players can join sessions, especially in a friends only session was unnecessary and was seemingly contributing to the ongoing bug.
- Fixed some respawn locations for the gamemodes in the Original map.
- Added confetti to the game over screen.
- Made changes to the new bloom effects to make them weaker.
The rest of the features from this patch were supposed to be included in the next large update, but I figured it would be cool to bring them in here.
Notes
- Disabled a WIP feature that caused the huge FPS drops.
- The main menu backdrop has been changed to fit the theme of the game more accurately.
- Most menus have had their colours tweaked so that they are more easily distinguishable between each other.
- The Dodgeball reclaim system has been adjusted again as requested through feedback.
The time to reclaim the Dodgeball has been halved.
The Dodgeball will return automatically if not reclaimed at the end of the timer.
- Renamed 'Lobby Details' to 'Game Settings'.
- Renamed 'Settings' to 'Options'.
The Goofy Staff have gone home for the night, so the whole venue is in darkness. Everyone will be given Glowsticks and Flashlights to help navigate around the jungle gym. Which item you get depends on which team you're on.
Just like regular Infector, the Survivors must survive until the timer runs out. This time, they have the added security of the shadows.
To add to the sneaky nature of this gamemode, there will be no visible nametags and the banana peel indicator will not be visible on any banana peels. You must be cautious if you find anyone, you never know if they're on your side!
New Item: Glowstick
This item serves one purpose: help the survivors navigate around the play area during the After Hours gamemode.
It cannot be used as a weapon. Remember to be weary of when you use it, the light will reveal your location to the Infectors!
New Item: Flashlight
The Infector's item during After Hours. Much like the Glowstick, its purpose is to help players navigate around the play area - but there's more!
It does what you'd expect a flashlight to do: fire a bright beam of light in the direction you're looking. The perfect tool to find Survivors hiding in the dark!
Since it can only be used during After Hours, there are no safety rules... so the Flashlight will be the main item to catch Survivors.
Other Notes
- The reclaim dodgeball prompt now includes a timer that shows how long you have before you're no longer able to reclaim it.
- Increased the duration of time where a player is able to reclaim a thrown dodgeball.
- Reduced the amount of time it takes for the football (soccer ball) to respawn after a goal.
- Players can now pick up items while already holding an item. (Does not work by walking over the item.)
- The lights outside of the Leaky Loo now use motion sensors. If it detects movement, they will turn on.
Players wanted more from the time trials, so I have created a separate type of time trial. This time, there is no optimal route or order in which to go.
Instead of a linear course like the current time trial, there are pieces of fruit scattered across the map and you must collect them all to complete the challenge.
The route you take to collect them all is entirely up to you!
The personal best timings are separate from the current time trial, with the 2 boards showing the high scores near the Leaky Loo.
Other Notes
- Added a new setting that allows the host to toggle the Add Time pickups in Tag.
- Increased the initial Tag timer from 150 to 200.
- Made the Multiplayer button more prominent in the main menu.
- Added icons to the score and lives in Gravity to make it easier to understand what the pickups do.
- Added slightly more time before the game starts after spawning/respawning in Gravity.
In this update, I have included a bunch of challenges, mostly eliminations with all of the items + a few other different challenges.
In the future they will unlock unique cosmetics and eventually will become Steam achievements, but progress can still be worked on in the meantime.
Gravity (Arcade Machine Game)
The arcade machines are now functional.
No need to insert credits since it's now free to play, as long as there's no gamemode active.
In this game, you control a small cube and dodge falling debris and fireballs. All of the debris will add to your score.
A certain high-score may or may not be one of the achievements...
Other notes
- Added the team name above the players in each team to clearly indicate what their role is in the game, i.e. Infectors/Survivors
- Added a 'How to Play' note at the Four in a Row games.
- Slightly increased the Goofy SMG damage.
- Banana peels will now always be assigned to the team you're on, including when you switch teams in certain gamemodes.
- Reduced the pre-game time duration to 12 seconds from 15 seconds.
- Made the prompt to reclaim the dodgeball more central and easier to understand.
- Fixed an issue where a thrown dodgeball sometimes couldn't be reclaimed + extended the period of time in which a player can reclaim their dodgeball.
- Added an extension to the top floor of the play area + some layout changes to other locations.
- Adjusted the Juggernaut particles so that they cannot be visible through the floor.
- All ready ups will now reset if a player leaves the game.
- Increased the hitbox of the bouncy section on the trampolines.
- Added a brightness slider in the video settings.
- Made changes to the Skylight colours (the thing that lights up the shadowed parts of the environment) so that the greens and purples can look more vibrant.
- Made some slight adjustments to the Lumen lighting so that the play area should be brighter.
The newest item added to Goofy, the smaller sibling to the Goofy Rifle, the Goofy SMG!
This item shoots foam bullets at a much faster rate than the rifle but deals less damage, but that doesn't mean the DPS is less.
Changes to the Dodgeball
The current state of the dodgeball is cool, but the glaring issue is: If you miss, you're in trouble.
The changes made to the dodgeball now allows the owner of the ball to force the ball back in their hand, like how skateboarding games let players force the skateboard back.
There will be a small window of time after the first bounce where the player can do this, otherwise the ball will be open for other players to take.
Hopefully the changes to the dodgeball now allow for more reliable dodgeball gameplay!
Changes to Shooting
The current method for shooting is using actual projectile foam bullets. While this works for slow-firing guns, with the new Goofy SMG, a gun that needs the fast-firing to work well, having projectiles would not be a good solution.
The guns will now use a point and click system, similar to something like Call of Duty, but to simulate the effect of using projectile foam bullets, there will be a delay on the hit depending on how far the bullet would have gone.
This system should also feel more responsive and reliable, especially for clients.
Changes to Running/Sprinting
The current system for sprinting, where players have a finite amount of stamina, has been removed. Now, you can sprint for as long as you like!
To compensate, normal jogging and sprinting speeds have been slightly reduced.
This change was made to address ongoing issues with how sprinting worked, to balance gameplay and to be more accommodating to the upcoming map, which is much larger than the current map. I think this will be a welcomed change.
Other notes
Made changes to how the trampolines receive inputs to help high ping clients bounce easier.
Made changes to the jump input so jumping should be more responsive for high ping clients.
Items can now be used continuously by holding left mouse button or right trigger.
Climbing can now be performed automatically by holding the jump input.
The input to perform a big bounce on the trampoline has changed to the jump input. (Hold Space/A)
The Goofy Gun has been renamed to Goofy Rifle.
The selected player in Infector, Tag and Juggernaut will be stated at the start of the round in the top-left feed.
Made subtle changes to the item distributions when respawning to stop dodgeballs being stolen.
Increased the audio occlusion on the item pickup sound. It'll now sound more muffled when blocked by walls/floors.
Increased the proximity voice volume slider in the audio settings.
Tweaked some settings related to proximity chat.
Players can now invite friends to an active session in the pause menu.
Attacks/shooting will now prevent sprinting for a small amount of time.
Fixed an issue with the floor netting not resetting player's restricted movement when leaving the netting.
Fixed an issue where eliminating 2 players at once with a Stink Bomb would prevent one of them from respawning.
I tried to add some other cool additions to this update, but I wanted to make these changes as soon as possible so that the gameplay can be better overall.
The next additions will be in sub-updates to 2.09.
How well can you navigate around the map? The new time trial will put that to the test!
This version of the time trials are local-based, meaning everyone can play the time trial instead of having one player attempt it at a time like it was in 1.0.
The venue features a board that keeps track of everyone's personal best times for all to see, so now we can see who the real tryhards are.
Four In A Row!
The newest addition to the games area, Four In A Row can be played when there isn't a gamemode in action.
There are 3 instances of the game, so for the larger sessions, more players can play at once.
Other notes
- Added a button in the pause menu that allows the host to cancel an ongoing game.
- Added a brief description to every gamemode in the Lobby Details menu.
- Changed the default frame rate to 60 from 30 (oops). Hopefully everyone has already changed it by now.
- Removed the cursor lock when in menus.
- Added some important information on some video settings and the proximity voice setting.
- Fixed an issue where a late joining player would be assigned to the wrong team in Juggernaut.
- Added visual and audio feedback when interacting with a pickup.
- Given health and timer pickups a prompt that tells the player how much health they've gained, or how much time has been added to their score.
- Adjusted the limits of the Juggernaut player's health.
- Made adjustments to the Banana Peels.
The ring indicator will now be just white instead of indicating the team colour.
You can no longer slip on your own Banana Peel after switching teams (i.e Infector).
- The Juggernaut sparkle particles now last longer, leaving a longer trail behind them.
- Fixed the Dodgeball being able to hit multiple players by the Tag player, causing more than one Tag player to exist at once.
- Updated AMD FSR 2.2 to FSR 3.
They function similarly to Stink Bombs, they are now thrown with 1 hand instead of 2.
Dodgeballs are assigned to a player until the first bounce, then after a short period of time afterwards, anyone will be able to claim the ball.
Damage dealt by the Dodgeball is dependant on the velocity of the ball when it hits a player, so direct hits will do the most damage.
(Dodgeballs are still subject to change, so any feedback on them is much appreciated)
Juggernaut is here!
In this gamemode, the hunter becomes the hunted. One player will be chosen at random to become the Juggernaut, and they will be given a lot of health. Everyone else... will need to be very careful as they will be weak to any stink bomb or banana peel. They must try to take out the Juggernaut before the timer runs out.
In this gamemode, damage = points. The player that deals the most damage will get bonus Goofy Points, but only if the Juggernaut is eliminated.
The Juggernaut will lose points when they are damaged, so try not to get hit!
Changes to Tag, You're It!
There has been a core change to Tag to make it a little more exciting. Every player will start with a fixed amount of points, if they are It, their points will go down.
If a player reaches 0 points, the game will end. To stop your points ticking away, you must tag another player!
A new pickup type 'Increase Timer' will spawn around the map that will increase your points.
The default health has been set to 10 for this gamemode.
Survivors will still get their survivor bonus every time another player is caught.
Other notes
- Updated the look of sessions in the multiplayer menu.
- Added arcade machines to the reception area. (Currently not playable, but will be playable in the future)
- Added a new unlockable torso. Unlocks at level 29.
- Fixed an issue where the throne area would appear when a player joins mid-game, even if King of the Castle isn't being played.
- Prevented Stink Bombs and Banana Peels from being thrown/placed before a round has started.
- Increased the audible radius for the proximity voice. Players should now be able to hear others from further away.
- Made the bigger trampoline bounce prompt easier to understand.
- Made some visual changes to the games area (previously the DJ area). Will be added to in the future.
- Added an icon on the tab screen that shows when a player is using a gamepad.
