About the Game
ABOUT THIS GAME
Players will be immune from the virus outbreak and must survive the situation by hoarding food, finding shelter and protecting yourself from wildlife, bandits, and infected. Players can also help other survivors and get the survivors to join your camp.
Players will experience dense mist that can happen at any time. The dense mist environment is accompanied by certain events, such as the infected people come around to find preys.
People who are infected and mutated will be able to come out outdoors at night or when there is no sunshine that means they can also hunt players while the fog is covered.

DEVELOPMENT ROADMAP
- Manage performance and optimize the game for the better in the EA Version
- Fixing bugs in the game will still be tested in many parts, of course, there must have many bugs followed. However, i will do my best.
- Add more animals such as deer and wolf
- Manage and adjust Survivor NPC to be more complex.

Hotfix
Fixed: Crash caused by infected spawner.
Fixed: Crash related to mist event spawning and infected spawning during mist.
Fixed: Sleeping to skip mist event would not clear the mist after waking up.
Note:
*The spawn logic for infected during mist events will be rebalanced in the next patch.
Hotfix
Fixed : an issue where the Christmas Tree could cause the game to get stuck during loading and severely drop FPS.
Try loading your save again — it should now be resolved.
Note:
You might see multiple overlapping Christmas Trees (up to 5 stacked in the same spot).
You can remove them using the axe.

Fixed incorrect soda material when drinking.
Fixed broken materials on storage, beds, and certain furniture.
Fixed debug icons appearing in-game.
Fixed light leaking into interiors for some houses near the church.
Fixed an issue where household and craftable items couldn’t be attached to the pickup truck or wooden cart.
Fixed eating sound looping and player unable to turn when dying while eating.

Bug Fixes
Fixed: Melee weapons dealing no damage to enemies.
Fixed: Ladders not working or being non-interactable. (Now functional, but only in the current playable area. The radio tower ladder will be available in the next patch.)
Fixed: Random crashes that occurred when climbing ladders.
Fixed: Vehicle issue where the screen could freeze when driving far from the car’s original spawn point.
Fixed: Bug when placing items inside the pickup truck’s trunk.
Fixed: Vehicle tires displaying incorrectly after loading a saved game.
Fixed: Unable to extract fuel from cars into gas cans.
Fixed: Interactable objects (furniture, suitcases, crates, etc.) not updating properly after loading the game — affects both Host and Client.
Fixed: Duct tape visual bug.
Fixed: Quiver not displaying its slots when equipped.

Added: Forest and wild item spawner — natural items can now spawn dynamically in forest areas.
Technical Updates
Changed interactable object spawner logic (furniture, storage, and drivable vehicles).
⚠️ This change may cause some duplicated or missing objects when loading older save files.
Increased network culling bounds to prevent distant objects from flickering.
Reworked undriveable/static vehicle part spawner. (Vehicle parts such as batteries, engines, and tires will be available in the next patch.)
Server list: Server names are now hidden until the host has fully loaded and is ready for players to join.
Optimized some foliage-heavy areas for better performance.

I plan to make more in-game objects interactable and usable as decorations, which will be added gradually in future updates.
All the bugs reported from the previous patch have been collected and will be fixed in the next update. Thank you for all the feedback and bug reports!

Fixed: Starter Shelter could be destroyed (it’s now indestructible, as intended).
Fixed: Save file issue related to UID.
Fixed: Lobby server searching now only connects players with the same game version.
Fixed: Players spawning at random locations after loading a game — they now spawn at the saved location (host needs to save the game).

Fixed: an issue where game saves could break when switching between online and offline mode.
Fixed: a wooden stair bug where it was visible to the host but not to joining players.
Fixed: wooden stairs not taking damage properly (they can now be destroyed as intended).
Fixed & Optimized: vehicle replication — improved how replication data is handled for better stability.

- Fixed: Road collision issues.
- Fixed: Water barrel turning unsafe water into safe water after closing the UI or pressing ESC.
- Fixed: Missing collision on tunnel walls.
- Fixed: Some world items were inaccessible.
- Fixed: Key bindings and mouse sensitivity resetting to default after pausing the game or pressing ESC.
- Fixed: Military Components dropped from infected showing 0.0 kg.
- Fixed: Log cart disappearing or falling through foundations after loading the game.
- Fixed: Mutant 'Tank' getting stuck near a column in his area.

Co-Op Progress Update
For now, third-person animations in Co-Op mode share the same assets as the first-person animations. To improve consistency and quality, I have to recreate them.
When Co-Op mode is released, I’ll start by adding the most frequently used animations first, then continue updating the rest through future patches. Some animations may look a bit off or incomplete in third-person until the full set is implemented.

** Scott's Weapon Limitation: Scott can now only use the M4A1, G17, and Machete. More weapons will be made available for him in future updates.
- Fixed: Rick disappears after loading the game (occurs once the Rick Camp Quest is completed and the game is saved then loaded).
- Fixed: Compass repair bug.
- Fixed: Compass Quest not consuming materials.
- Fixed: Compass Quest UI mismatch; when receiving a reward, it should now display "Added to your collectables."
- Fixed: Pressing ESC while in the weapon upgrade menu bug (stuck and can't exit).
- Fixed: Lost items during weapon upgrades.
- Fixed: Issue in James' Basement Quest where James gets stuck after killing The Bloat, preventing completion of the task.
- Fixed: Generator fuel : save refactor to address saving issues.
- Fixed : Zone 1 landscapee not render
- Fixed: Issue where players couldn't take down bandits wearing armor.
- Fixed: Collectable items not saving correctly.
- Fixed: Energy cells not saving in the laboratory.
- Fixed: Key cards not working (school key card, medical access keycard).
I am continuing to work on addressing bugs, and the next set of hotfixes will include solutions for the generator issues, disappearing dogs, the dog saving system, and the bug related to fuel refill in vehicles, among other improvements.
Additionally, the Seeder will be ready in the next main patch, 0.6.2.1, which I anticipate releasing next week.
For additional bug fixes, they will be included in the 0.6.1 update. This update will not only address the issues but also bring in new content. I will try to make it in time by the end of this month. (Additionally, I may divide the update into intervals of 1 week each.)
Performance Fixes
- GPU Workload Reduction : Changed the reflection method to a cheaper one.
- Removed some minor objects and decals that are hard to see and non-essential, further streamlining performance.
Bug fixes
- Fixed: Corrected the orientation issue with Cabin A's sample shape.
- Fixed: Resolved the issue of the missing Raincoat on game load.
- Fixed: Addressed the lack of infected spawning during mist events.
- Fixed: Fixed the duplication issue with Explosion Barrels and Propane tanks.
