Official update history
- A round of optimization aim at removing lag spikes and general FPS increases
Please let me know if you find any bugs, my PC can now run the end game with multi-orb and no longer drops in FPS.
- The move controls will now only show the first time you play and once you've proven you can do it will be hidden
- The Boss Russ splits will now work like LiveSplit and the VS section will be relative to your best splits on a completed best run. Previously I did it so it was best split up to that point (but silly me.. that doesn't make sense)
- Fixed a bug where you could beat the Boss Rush and then continue the mode from the main menu. Now when you beat the final boss that is considered the end of the run and you can no longer continue from there
- Fixed a bug where when loading a previous save you could lose the boss skulls. This was caused by the boss upgrades getting changed between save files. Now the game will check and refund those nodes if the tree changes between sessions.
- Changed one of the quest for level 5 that was a bugged. Instead you now just need to spawn the boss to complete the quest.
- Fixed a bug where the player could get really close to the final boss and kill it by shooting orb inside the shield area. Now the boss just can't take damage when the shield is up. Thanks for reporting this kielsie.
A quick update to address some initial feedback. Up next will likely be a balance pass to smooth out the progression curve as well as even out boss difficulty.
