Ova Magica combines the best of the JRPG, farming, and monster taming genres with life-sim elements - to bring you a content-rich game inspired by the classics!
BLOBS
Collect and train cute blob creatures. Ova Magica features an extensive crossbreeding system that allows you to create your very own unique blob from millions of combinations!
Many blobs can help you with everyday tasks or give you the upper hand in battles. A turtle blob is your best friend for watering crops, a cow blob produces milk and a bat blob helps you with bug catching. Collect all blobs to discover their unique abilities!
FRIENDSHIP
Befriend 13 different characters, each with a unique story and personality! Deepen your relationship to unlock special events, items and buildings and help make Clover Town a better place!
FARMING
Grow several plants and trees! Sell the harvest, feed your blobs with it or use it to cook even better food!
SEASONS + FESTIVALS
Play trough the main three seasons which all come with unique festivals, activities, blobs and crops!
EXPEDITION
Go on adventure into the blob worlds to find rare treasure and blob eggs. But be careful! The worlds change every time you enter and are roamed by wild blobs. With great risk comes great reward!
CRAFTING
Gather resources to craft new useful blueprints with the workbench or decorate your farm and home!
Ova Magica has many more features that you can gradually discover as you progress through the game!

- fixed skill help during battle not being hidden correctly when pressing the cancel key instead of the displayed “hide help” button

We work further on feedback and bugs. With the launch week being very busy we decided for now to update the game with the things already fixed + implemented and do another update in a few days.

- Added a setting for day duration/length in pause menu settings
- Stops time when interacting with blob word slide puzzle
- Stops time when playing with your blobs
- Changed penalty for missing to sleep: Instead of double usage to not healed

Bug Fixes
- Jade Heart Event 02: Fixed event did not continue after choice
- Fixed being stuck on festival day when entering town from train station area
- Fixed game stuck on loading screen after using bombs ability on mushrooms or flowers and leaving area
- Set Jade event 1 prio higher than adventurers club (so Jade isn’t “gone” when not wanting to join the club yet)
- Fixed that course/Tutorial selection UI in Blob League could not been confirmed via mouse click
- Fixed Painted Eggs festival text prompts could not been confirmed via mouse click
- Fixed that you could buy items from Doctor Willams at Night of Roses festival

On Steam Deck sometimes the Deck doesn't start games after updates, in this case restart the Steam Deck.

- Fixed that crab blob of female waiter was getting unlocked in resident overview when photographing Nara,the deer blob, in the restaurant
- Fixed missing dialog for troublemaker kids trio in Clover Valley
- Fixed that in the blob abilities course the plant fields were watered automatic on a rainy day which caused the turtle Sprinkler step to be completed without actually doing it
Battle Balancing + Tweaks:
- cannot attack anymore own blobs in battle
- the exp after using a skill is now not always 10% but determined based on the enemy blob count and power level difference compared to own team
- improved enemy KI to not use non-stacking buffs or status effects several times
- status effects Silent, Sleep and Distract can now only be applied once per battle on a blob
- updated status effect Silent bubble to now displays how many rounds are left until it loses effect
- reduced miss chance when affected by the Blind status effect from 60% to now 40%
Bugfixes:
-Fixed the game freezing when placing the "colored egg" decoration via workbench and leaving farm or house.
Content:
- An additional message is now shown when out of energy and trying to use tools
- Reduced bug net energy costs from 10 to 5
